It's obvious the first guy is a potential wife beater and no woman deserves to be in a relationship with someone who lays his hands on her at the slightest provocation.

This being said, I am also of the opinion that no one should get married to someone they don't love.
She also says she enjoys sex with the first guy, which is a really important aspect of a relationship.

So my advice is this; She shouldn't marry the second guy, because let's face it, she doesn't love him.
I am not saying getting back together with the first guy is the best option, but it seems to be the better of the two.
But before she goes back to the first guy, she should talk to him and make him promise not to lay his hands on her again, and that he should learn to control his temper when he is around her.
