akraym: MY TOTs on ICENice |
holuphisayor: what happens to a punter dat picks a match that has been abandoned as part of an accumulation in his/her tourney picks?Good question. |
jasper7: @Michky, I bliv we are saying the same thing. Maybe not the exactly the same but close enufGreat. Whoever is in charge should lead the way and lets get started asap. |
eightsin: I will never forget the day Celtic beat barca. It made me lose my combo. D funny thing is that barca odd was the lowest...i needed alcohol to help me forget my lost 92k.eeyaah. Small odds spoil combos alot. Chei, am imagining the cash your 92k would have returned. Don't worry, you're not alone mehn. Many have gone through that too. Painful mehn. |
albacete: Forget arbitraging, u stand d risk of losing ur account. And besides, u need so much money to get very little profit when u arbitrage.I think we've tried this method before but it didn't work. I mean (what markets are you good at etc). I will suggest we allocate certain number to leagues to each punter and we set criteria to finding certain markets there. So, each person will just drop what he gets here. Now, instead of going through each match in each league, one by one, in search of different markets (which can be tiring), each person does his job and drops it for the house to make their prefered selections. And Like i always say, this is not an imposition. Its just a suggestion that can be discarded if not useful. I believe the above is the true definition of team work. To answer your question, am good at the: DC and Over 1.5 markets. |
patsucess: You just said now that there is no strategy that can be used to beat the bookies but then you gave 2 strategies. am confusedYou're making sense but i believe arbing is also a strategy. Its just a surer one that's all. Sadly, i won't advise you to try arbitrage. Why?, when you lose, you lose big! (meaning losing is also a posibility in arbing). Plus, when bookies eventually find out that you're an arber, you lose your account immediately and all the money in it. Now, is this really worth it? |
All i see here is plenty talk. Just like our parlour Football betting thread. Me, am ready to destroy the bookies. I just don't want to spend another minute still thinking about it. It is obvious that team work is a good way forward. Am hitting them bookies but a bit too slow for my liking. Oya, what do we do. I will suggest you (Jasper) are open to suggestions and not lead us through a monotonous path that might later be unfruitful (God forbid). My suggestion is this (although its not compulsory you follow it): let each person have a market he'll search for and deliver to the house each day. It will then be the discretion of each punter which bets to pick among-st the plenty. E.g, one person can search for over 1.5 picks from a few leagues while others will do same for other leagues. Get it? We can repeat this process for other markets till we have as many good picks as we can get per day. Other markets include: Double chance, DNB, Over 2.5, Under 2.5, Home win, Away win etc. As for small odds, i don't think that's the way to go. Let me remind the gurus here that what makes the odds to drop that low isn't only the capability of the favorite. Many attimes, it is public opinion that does it. Sadly, a novince will see the small odd and say to himself (Chei, soup don done). Eventually, bet loses. Plus, such odds are very inviting for match fixers, knowing very well that lots of money will be made quickly at the expense of the public. |
biolabee: @michky i like your submissionThanks mehn. ![]() |
pekelepekele: Today is such a good day. Listening to personally by p-squareIs this their latest single? Not sure have heard it anywhere. By the way, could you pls tone down a bit on that website. You have mentioned it very many times already. Not a bad site by the way. |
monsuru560: na me oust albacete...i nid more inspiration to oust akraymNice. You did what many couldnt do. Best of luck against Akraym. Cant wait to know who'll come out of that group unscratched. |
albacete: @MichkyTouching farewell msg. Thats all. Better luck next time bro. |
albacete: And Albacete lost out of the tourney. |
Found this on the web. Hope it solves this issue once and for all. I think it depends on the circumstances... Theft: "A person is guilty of theft if he dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it." S1 Theft Act 1968 However, it does not count as theft if you have the consent of the owner (in this case the husband); and your behaviour is not considered 'dishonest' if the person appropriates the property in the belief that "he would have the other's consent if the other knew of the appropriation and the circumstances of it" (s2(1)(b)) So it all boils down to this: If the husband was/would be fine about it, no it's not stealing If he wasn't/wouldn't be fine with it, then yeah, it's stealing And in this particular Op's case, the wife clearly lied because she knew she wouldn't have her husband's consent. Hence, she can boldly be categorized a thief. I rest my case. |
Poll: If a woman secretly takes her husband's money without his knowledge or permission, is it stealing? Yes: 78% (82 votes) No: 21% (23 votes) This poll has ended https://www.nairaland.com/42446/woman-steal-husband Now, am wondering how come some of us here are just being different. |
bettymafy: He fell in love, got married and now knows how to treat a lady. . . That is what changed! ![]() |

lastpage: Okija juju, l've "known" you long enough to see that YOU ARE NOW PLAYING TO THE GALLERY!You speak my mind. Me thinks Okija really needs female electoral endorsements. If not, why has his posts, in the past months, been very wierd. Very unlike the Okija Man we all are familiar with. Mehn, you need to see the vigor with which he argues in favor of females like his future depends on it. Atleast, i now know the ish. SMH. Anyways, best of luck to Mr Okija. It is well. |
holuphisayor: LuckyI double chanced it. It was truely a value pick. Got 1.4 at b365. Thanks. Sadly, i cant realy celebrate because of your betslip. |
holuphisayor: TODAY'S SOCCER PICKSNice one. Lets hope for the best. |
armyofone: So to solve the problem, just give me your ATM card whenever. Put is where I can see it. When you come home with any cash, leave it where I can see it. Don't complain of insufficient fund. Be happy of any amount I take after all Jah loves a cheerful giverLol. See ya e-mouth. You too like money. Frankly, the op already does that. According to him, he even has an extra 50k reserved for her anytime use, and easily accessible to her. Yet, Op's wife still feels it best to enter Op's wallet. And when asked, she denies it till she gets caught. Now what sort of person does that if not a Thie... Anyways, good thing is, not every wife acts this wierd. What a relief. -sighs- It is well. |
Ishilove: My brother go and sit down jor.Interesting. So we should be the ones to pay for what God has done to you abi? Honestly, if it were for only the reasons you mentioned, i dont really mind giving the extra. But why lie?! Why steal?! Why cheat?! Why cause problem between my siblings and i, just because you must have your way all the time?! Look, you better stop this your i i i attitude before you cause more damage than you've done already. |
lastpage: Well, they call it "Political Correctness".....Its not acceptable to "Call A Spade, A Spade"!Very well spoken. Sometimes i wonder where some of these nairaland girls got their ideologies from. Alot of them are self-centred and hopelessly biased. Most of them only see what benefits only them and whatever happens to any other is non of their business. The world is fine as long as they get all they want. SMH. One thing is sure. Everyone will get judged in due time. Yes am serious! I hardly pay any attention to any woman (with babies) begging for alms these days. In my mind, they are exactly where they were meant to be. Mteww... May God continue to bless the few good women remaining in this world. Sisi_Kills, Jidegirl and other well meaning Nairalanders. |
Of all the fruit in the garden may you eat, except the tree in the middle of the garden. This is similar to op's position. Like i said in my first post on this thread, the wife has so much time on her hands, which is the reason for her MISCHIEF. Get her gainfully occupied and everything else will be ok (atleast for a while). Good thing is op has an intelligent spouse. Sad thing is the damage that idle intelligence can create. Plus you have a serial liar for a wife. Mehn, that is a big deal bro. Chei. |
Okay! Here's the solution.. OP.. buy a steel safe:: I recommend the maksym yemelyanov.. https://static6.depositphotos.com/1001877/663/i/950/depositphotos_6632908-Safe-in-stainless-steel.-Bank-Vault.jpg Put it in your bedroom and lock it away with a combination of fingerprint lock, retina scan lock, number lock and password.. ![]() If you could call your wife a thief for taking change money out of your wallet (that I'm sure cant buy her a good shoe sef), then in the future when you start making millions and need to be carrying your money in a suitcase/Ghana must go bag, na armed robber you go call her.. ![]() I can't believe this ridiculousness I see here. Marriage is all about sharing..
Lol @ your steel safe solution. *Clears throat*. Ok, what am trying to say is this: Its is really not a big deal what the wife has done. Problem is the wife lying about it, which makes her a thief. Simple. Infact, it is absolutely wrong for a wife to take cash from her husband's wallet without due permission from her husband. What is wrong is wrong. Forget all that ish about marraige being a community ownership thing. And in the op's instance, he even keeps extra for her openly in the same bedroom. Why in the world would she want to take the one that is in his pocket (after all he's provided for her) for God's sakes! Thats not fair!! That is greed. Thats stealing!!! Very soon, she would no longer be contented with marital secx and would start getting the one out of her reach. Or she would start doing other strange things that would hurt the marraige. This is how it all begins. |
dammytosh: That is where the stealing comes in that many posters here including you do not seem to understand.Fantastic! Well said. Dont mind many of those scarcely maritally experienced lovebirds. Funny when most of them speak like real authorities regarding marriage matters. A lot of them will certainly endup with failed marraiges if the continue with this mentality of theirs. Btw, many of them can even decifer what theft really means. I just dey tire for nairaland girls attimes. Honestly. Thank God for the few good ones. |
hectortex: @babyosisiYou wanna know why she steals cash from your wallet despite the excess available cash right? Ok, listen carefully. She is bored. She needs a new challenge. She has too much time on her hands. Solution: Sit her down and Define clearly to her that she is STEALING. Remind her that you will not fail to get her dealt with if she continues that art of theft. Now, Get her involved in any activity that will keep her gainfully occupied. I.e. Church activities, Business etc. Would be better if the activity is something that interests her. Best of luck with your marriage. |

teajays: Oh! Yea i can smell it bro 'Da Spanish Eaters'Mehn, you're so very on point bro. You read my mind perfectly. Nice! Spain will consuuuuuuume them. I can imagine the scoreline already. lol |
udemzy101: Those guys are very funny, guess there is a price for every goal they score.Actually, it will be remembered in their history books from today that they have scored a goal in a Fifa world competition. The sad part of it is, Nigeria will be the name at the other end. ![]() That aside, guess what bro, Tahiti Spain, am betting Spain to win (-7). Am sure the odds will be reasonable. There is no way even Suarez alone won't put 4 goals behind that their goalie. Chei, Nigeria why! |
Tahiti celebrates their first ever goal in a Fifa world tournament against guess who...Nigeru!! They were even celebrating the goal as if they won the tourney proper. Chei, I pity Nijuwaru!! We suppose score 25 goals but we could only muster a +5 goal difference. SMH. Tahiti should get ready o. Guys, are you thinking what am thinking? |
