Your obi will never ever smell Aso rock
In short , any candidate that gets popular support from your side will be rejected because you all stand with lies. it's good we know what you stand for. Stand properly with your tribalism and don't mix it with patriotism. Obi becoming president doesn't do anything different for me. I'm not a politician and I don't care about who is there. Just make cost of living ok for the masses while you provide the infrastructure needed and I am good. |

Starting a business in Nigeria is tough but starting the business without adequate provisions for it is another kettle of fish entirely... so she should wait until she can afford a deep freezer of about 200k? How many people can afford such in Nigeria |

What of the medical doctors and nurses that went on an 18 month strike under same Obi ?
You people can only decieve yourselves in that your east. kindly mention the year teachers went on a thirteen months strike action. This incident happened during mbadinuju administration and I already told you that I spent over a year at home during my primary school. Talking about doctors who went on strike, that's outside the scope of our discussion. The op asked for his legacy project in Anambra and not his failures. If you want us to discuss the failures, create a thread and I will give you my own thoughts about that also

DeepThroater: There were more dropouts from all state owned institutions from primary to tertiary when Obi was governor.
First all Anambra state schools including state owned institutions went on strike for over a year demanding that Obi pay them the newly signed minimum wage.
Obi did not even bulge and is on record to have started the "No work, no pay" strategy to force the strike to come to an end.
During the long strike most students either enrolled into private schools or went out of state. Those who couldn't go out of state or afford to enroll into private schools remained at home. Some of those who fell in the latter category drop out of school .
On resumption, Obi hiked school fees by over 400%.
Most in state owned tertiary institutions dropped out.
The situation for those in primary and secondary was no different . Some parents and wards were forced to withdraw their children from school because they could no longer afford it. While some of these kids were shipped to the SW and SS states were education is free. before Obi, there was frequent strike action by teachers. Personally, I spent a whole year at home during my primary school in public institution. This led to high rate of mistrust in public education and coupled with Anambra culture of "nwa boy". It led to high level of drop outs. People gave up on education and the few went for private education. I attended a private secondary school and before Obi finished his first term, I wished I could change school but I was already writing WAEC. The way he upgraded all the schools and equipped their laboratories made us envious of them. I remember going to the boys high school in my town and asked myself what I was doing in my own school. Those investments didn't come for free as school fees were increased by over 200% but you could see the reason for the increments. Teachers were sacked and principals replaced. It was painful for the parents but we can see the results now. What I am giving you is personal account not some propaganda |

drlateef: Show me one legacy of Obi that we can see today, just one. Obi has no long term vision and sustainable development plans. All his efforts l, if any, are in the dustbin of history. What about the 250 million laundered by Obi? Why did Obi invest government money in his family business? Is that probity or corruption? Why did Obi keep his state’s money in his bank where he has major shareholding?
You cannot pull wool over our eyes. We know the truth. human capital development. People from my age got quality education. Up until today, Anambra went from a state known for frequent strike action to being one of the best academically in Nigeria. I know it wouldn't mean anything to you but I who got the education will forever appreciate him. My education is the bedrock of my success in life |

If he tries to show wickedness to the federal contractors, the contractors will slug it out with him because federal government is not Ebonyi State where he pocketed for eight good years. how did you think he delivered in Ebonyi State? If he allows contractors to have their way, he won't be able to deliver |

What I suggest is for government to import essential goods especially foodstuff. Flood the market with those and those greedy people will be forced to reduce prices |
