This lecturer Dr.osifodunrin solomon,M.A.T 304 has been the talk of students in mathematics department, unilag. He has held more than 100 students from graduating. Simply because his rules and principles student are finding it hard to cope wit. Speaking with an extra year student he said, if u go the man and tell him u are an extra year student, he will send you out. The man is merciless and wicked he said infact he is heartless. Speaking with another student name withheld said. This man will mark you down if you dont write ur name very well, he never encourages student he is only bent on on his will that it all ends wit him. He started his classes first and was the last to end, and student still failed it shows something is wrong, we dont like him, we will never will. I mean what is the need, he is not student friendly, even his fellow lecturers cant even talk to him. Dr. Osifodunrin we beg you allow this final year students and extrayear student Go. It sickened me to see the state at which Nigerian educational system is today, is at it worst state, lacking of funding or not enough funding has lead to the state where Nigeria educational system is, it sickened me has a student to leave under hard conditions to receive education at which after my degree i wont find a job, no wonder why they said Nigerian graduate are half-baked, a system where student don't have enough facilities to receive proper education, where the lecturers are too lazy to teach and some will put the whole blame on the student when they fail and not the lecturer because they once under go the system, recently we heard about the protest in UNILAG where student protested about the bed bug believe me there is more to it, i wonder how they want student to go back home with good health. just today when i was about to cook in my room(i wont mention hostel for privacy sake) i had to go to the last floor to fetch water, trust me you cant regularly find water on your floor, had to go to and fro on a long dangerous staircase to fetch water, dangerous in what sense u asked?, i don't know how my times i heard students slipping while descending the stairs, i shared among the experience too, initially you will think the water is clean and manageable until you tried boiling it, what u will see will surely amaze you, see the picture taken before and after boiling the water as prove, i know many people that has experienced this will testify to it.
N.B this article is not to ridicule the name of this great school am also a student here but for the better future of my fellow student i was compiled to write this. and i would love to see this making front page
