Family / Re: Why Do Some Pastors Advise Unemployed Men To Marry? by Micholawoye: 5:09pm On Nov 07, 2019
Richy4:
Don't listen to anyone that tells you to marry when you are not financially ready. it's like committing a sacriledge in the world of Finance..

The Bible says that money answereth all things, have you managed to ask them the meaning of that?

My bible stipulated that any man that cannot provide for his wife and children are worst than an infidel.. Maybe u should ask the person or the pastor if he has come across that bible verse... Maybe he can personally explain that to u.

Besides, we have heard cases of men running away from the hospital because their wife gave birth to twins, triplets Or even through C section.
It can happen to anyone. Especially the financially challenged brothers.. A woman is not an investment at least throughout my days in uni studying Finance, I have never heard about a situation where a financially incapacitated single man got married..Boom!! Every window opportunities involving wealth/ Assets/ riches starts opening.. That is just absurd...

Creativity, brainstorming/ planning is what changes situations not the wife but if u are gonna go by faith as some suggested to u instead of planning
Then I wish you the best of luck..

Thank you sir for your advice. Personally I hate seeing young people rush into marriage and then begin to suffer. I have always held this view and still do but recently I have almost begin to doubt myself. Thanks for setting me on the right mental path again. God bless.
PS: They always give examples of a man who got married and when the wife gave birth, things started to turn up for him, then I always wonder people who lives in a room with multiple kids, why haven't theirs open up.

Acidosis:

If you're single, you feed yourself and have a roof over your head, then you can marry. There are no special bills or taxes for married people. Your stomach and portion of food do not get bigger with marriage. Your electricity or water bill do not increase because you're married. Same electricity, same cable TV, same quantity of water, same rent, etc.

In fact, it is easier for two WORKING and sensible people because they're able to put resources together to achieve a better result. E.g. If you've being paying rent alone, you can share bills (not necessarily in equal proportions).

The only thing that makes a difference is pregnancy & child upkeep, and to the best of my knowledge, this is optional. After all, single men and women have more sex than married people, without fear of pregnancy.

To blame finance for being single is lack of SENSE and understanding. It is perpetual failure of the brain to think MARRIAGE between two people will drain finance faster than when you're single.

Thank you sir. In the environment I stay, I have seen young guys who were self employed and who lived fairly comfortable impregnate ladies, are forced to marry them or live with them and then you see such guys start to suffer. They spend all their money taking care of their partners with the kids and you see poverty begin to Creep in because one partner is carrying more load than he can cope with. Especially in some churches and environment where having kids out of wedlock is the main thing.

Sir, how many people do you know who married with faith without a job? What's their living standard now compared to when they were single?

Family / Why Do Some Pastors Advise Unemployed Men To Marry? by Micholawoye: 6:53am On Nov 07, 2019
Good morning Nairaland family. I have noticed that some pastors will tell unemployed single men to marry and that when they get married and start having kids, that things will begin to get easier for them in life.

Sometimes they say things Luke when you get married, the star of the woman and yours work together to make things easier and give you better things in life.

I used to laugh at this until about a month ago and a pastor I know told me the same thing.
Please how true is this? I need advice from people with such experiences. Pardon my English please.

Thank you and God bless.

You all insulting this guy because he is an Ex corper, is it not better he gets married to the girl he loves than mess around with her and break her heart? Don't you know marriage is a beautiful thing?? The word of God says "He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtain favor from God" Don't you know is marriage to his love of his life can open doors of blessings to him.
Instead to be happy and wish them well, you are judging and criticizing them like witches and wizards... May God forgive you all!!!

Na una dey push people wey never ready into marital mess with all this " e go better after marriage" talk.
Come to my area and see them, men wey prick dey scratch wey give girl belle and others wey rush inside marriage, come see better suffer wey dem dey suffer, you go think twice.
Please don't let anyone push you or rush you into marriage that you are not ready for!!

Please my people, help a starving brother. I have been pleading for help for some days now. I'm a student who returned to school last week because of the prospects of exams starting on Monday and also because I was opportuned to enter a free ride. my family isn't bouyant enough and my dad has severe high BP that's why I had to find my way so as not to make him to start thinking about where to get money to give me. I haven't eaten a decent food since I got back and am starving.

I am soliciting for help from well meaning people who will be touched enough to hear my plight and have mercy. I am not asking for much, no matter how little, it will go a long way. God bless you all

It us well bro. Send me a DM.

Daboomb:

Please dont insult the woman, you guys of today are just too myopic to accept reality!
You dont have to DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL OR CRIMINAL, to make your wife comfortable.

It is simple:
- Get a GOOD Education and come out with a good grade
- Train and Develop yurself with SKILLS that are in Demand, marketable Skills
- Dont be lazy, dont do drugs, dont indulge in things that would reduce your worth and market value and dont do anything ILLEGAL or UNLAWFUL
- Leave time in you rlife to communicate with God or whatever you belive in.
-Develop Standard morals and values about life

I swear, if you do these five simple things during your Youthful years are you are not comfortable by 30yrs, confront me and l would set you up in business, with enough capital that would make you rich enough to throw back my Capital in my face, in less than seven years from the day l gave it to you.

Comfortable Life is not Magic, it is a painstaking process of step-by-step, coupled with dilligence, which most young people dont have.
Anyone who can HONESTLY say, with their hands on their heart, that they have done all the five things above and are still uncomfortable in life, need deliverance.
I will offer it. grin grin

Good morning bros. I really enjoyed your write up. I would love to have your phone number so we can talk. Have a nice day sir.

Ok its cool you're enthusiastic to better yourself,

I'd be explicit as possible, u need a laptop if u don't have one

The amount of time you devote to coding would determine how fast you'd get a job, cos experience counts alot so your devoted time is essential
Reply with your mail address I'd send you a book, and also detail how you'd go about writing your first code

You also may not need proprietary software as notepad in windows should suffice

I'd also be of help if you run into any hitches

My email is olawoyemichael4@gmail.com. Thank you Sir

Yes aff marketing is hot. I'm planning on dropping out to focus on aff cpa/Seo/marketing. Sometimes I make some people's monthly salaries in a day. One thing with Nigerians is that we are scared to invest.. I wasted lot of cash and time(100k+) doing testing(Bing ads/google AdWords to collect leads/seo). But now I've made lot of cash from aff marketing and planning to relocate to US to continue.

Good morning sir. I am a new affiliate marketer, I am interested in aff CPA/seo marketing. Can you tell me more about it. Can we talk on phone?

The topic should have been "Why Visa applicants get refused" wink

Other points to note are... The Consular / Interviewer having a bad day grin

The Consular / Interviewer trying NOT to exceed the daily apportioned visa quota. undecided

Sometimes, there's very little you can do when trying to obtain a Tourist (B1/B2 U.S Visas). The decisions by the Consular are mostly subjective as compared to a Student (F-1/F-1/J-1 Visas etc...) which are more based on merits and individdual qualifications. smiley

If you need more info., about obtaining U.S student's Visas, feel free to reach out!
