Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Finally Got A Job Through A Nairalander After Months Of Job Hunting. by michspencer(m): 1:56pm On Mar 20, 2021 |
Ghostty: Hello guys Good morning to you all.
Remember this thread I created sometime last year?
https://www.nairaland.com/5448693/accept-job-offer-continue-job
Well as God would have it, a Nairalander whose moniker is very popular on here(Wouldn't mention for obvious reasons) reached out to me and asked me to send my CV to his email address for review.
At first, I was reluctant and didn't want to send the CV considering he's always not serious with his posts and also a troll here or so I thought. But on a second thought I decided to give it a try. Few days later, he sent an email requesting that I meet him at a particular address the following day on the Island here in Lagos.
The following day I got to the address, it was actually an office complex with the company occupying about 6 floors in the entire building. I met with the Nairalander, we discussed at length and in the end he asked me when I would love to resume.
I later got to know he is the General Manager, Group Learning and Human Resources for the Company(A Privately owned Oil Firm) after resumption.
Fams, today I'm gainfully employed with a pay four times bigger than what the Chinese company had earlier offered me in my previous thread.
I want to use this medium to thank Seun Osewa and most especially God for sending an helper my way when I thought all hopes was lost. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
PS: Some Nairalanders are super rich and connected guys, believe me. Learn to respect people's opinion on here as you may not know who you're dealing with. For those who are still searching for jobs, please do not stop believing as your breakthrough is closer than you know. Thank you.
Modified:
I know you would most likely see this Sir. May God continually bless you, guide and protect you. I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart, God bless you. Amen! Congratulations, I tap from your blessing |

GboyegaD: While it is right to say life is unfair, our choices sometimes too are unfair. In his condition, he shouldn't have birthed 4 children. Although it is hard to say but truth remains that he is wicked however, thanks to God who has decided to let the light shine on him. I hope HOL also teaches his and his wife family planning and the need to strive to ensure their 4 kids live a reasonable life. would there have been any change if he was to give birth to one or two children ? |

Jubal01: Hmmmmmmmm. Where should i start from? Is it the poor facilities that d govt (not)provided or d useless Italian that wanted 2 run. If there is no light or fan, let him buy 4 his own personal use now. Afterall many well-to-do families do that in 9ja. I once saw a family that brought a generator and fan to one hospital in sagamu when i was serving there in 2010 because it was hot and there was no light. That man is stingy and wicked wallahi! Haba! he could have done such even 4 his own PERSONAL USE! You are as senseless as the Italian man Smh |

[quote author=Sheuns post=87028693]Nigeria is just cursed with bad people and leaders. This man came into the country on 25th from a region that is currently under the outbreak, our immigration officials should have known best to quarantine these people for at least 14 days, but no, they let them pass, cos they’re oyinbo and are first-class citizens in our own country.
Just imagine the man didn’t check into the hospital when he started feeling sick. And think of the possibility of some other persons that may have come in without proper checks. Now they’re saying they’ll fight it. Lagos is extremely dirty and stuffy. How do they plan to reach everyone this man had contact with both directly and indirectly.
A friend of mine went to pick up an item from an Italy returnee that was probably on the same flight as this man on 26th and now the man is said to be in Benin, what if that man was exposed? It means I may be exposed too cos I met my said friend yesterday and we discussed this issue on this virus getting in here, and how it’ll be managed, not knowing it’s been here already.
We really need to get serious in this country. Our government and leaders are just too bad and heartless.[quote ]I advice you report yourself to the nearest hospital to be quarantined and possibly treated |

OoniOfIfe: Hope it won't be another audio promise like d proposed Nigerian airline. Even if d lubricant got materialised it can never compete with d already existing lubricants like Jezco, Total etc, they should just forget about d lubricant. The truth is that NNPC will never be productive until it is privatized like NEPA. Are you saying that NEPA is productive?? |

[b] Validated: These are still unverified assumptions. Did you measure all the states on these parameters? NO! So, your personal opinion becomes a basis for adjudging states? See attached states allocation for July and see how states ranked. Then you would be in position to check what each state received and what you estimate they could have dome with it and how they are faring. That's his own opinion make your own |
