Twisting:Sanchez plays for Arsenal, Vidal plays for Bayern Munich, does that answer your question? For every penalty shootout you name, the first spot kick taker has always been the best player. But seeing that you don't really have a point that you are basing your arguments on, I will pass to the next person |
Twisting:I swear I do not understand what you just uttered, but let me try to make small sense out of it. Did you watch the Wolfsburg Vs Madrid first leg? Ronaldo missed a glorious chance and if he had scored it would have been 1-0, now remove Ronaldo from that game, maybe Benzema would have been the one who got the chance, he would have scored,Madrid would have probably won the first leg and coasted through but he didn't score. Ok apart from wolfsburg, remove the 2 goals he scored against Roma, Madrid still won, remove the 6 goals against Malmo, madrid still won and so on,so his 16 goals werent as instrumental as you all want to believe. We are talking about this year I hope you know? And he didnt score against the big teams this year, sorry but thats true,if you think otherwise then sorry, but you are deluded. So Sanchez is Chile's best player or best penalty taker? Giroud takes penalties for Arsenal, even Ozil takes penalties before Sanchez, I am a barca fan, I know how many he missed but he scored that one,Vidal started the shootout because he is their best penalty taker so you just buttressed my point not his actually .And scroll up, I have already replied you as to why Messi and Suarez were consistently better. In the Copa final did they score? No. But would Alba had scored without Messi? No, would Neymar score without Messi? No. But did Ramos score without Ronaldo's help? Yes! Did Bale finish off Man city without Ronaldo? Ofcourse he did. And Zlatan and Higuain wont be considered because of something called Uefa coefficients, in simpler terms it means their league is inferior, cheers. |

Even Diego their highest goal scorer didnt score up to 40 goals that year. He didn't even get up to 20 assists like I suspected and that's from ESPN, if you want to confirm it, follow these steps: Go to www.espn.com, scroll down you will see All leagues, click there, you will see Europe, click there, scroll down till you see Trukish Super Lig, click there, scroll down, click on all teams, u will see Galatassary, click on it, then click on Squad, then look for W. saintkeppy:Please Bro, Sneijder has never scored up to 40 goals, his highest number of goals was twenty something and I don't think that it was that year in fact. It was Diego Milito who was scoring all the goals for them, Sneijder with the assists, that's why people argue that their win was more of a collective effort. I don't know if he had up to 20 assists but I do also know that Messi had the highest number of assists that year. The true contenders that year were Xavi and Iniesta. Iniesta should have won it I agree but please, Sneijder wasn't even close. Using the same criteria, Ribbery should have won the 2013 balon d'or too so it cancels out |
saintkeppy:Ronaldo?! 16 assists in the La Liga?! These Ronaldo fanboys don't even work with facts and figures. He had no more than 11 assists in La Liga, he wasn't even in the top 5 assists table in the La Liga. Messi and Suarez on top, Asensio of Espanyol, Bale or so, then there is this other player there, Ronaldo had at most, 11 assists all season long |
Marcelini:Another biased comment. Ronaldo's pichichi last year did not count because he didn't win the league with it, which means he didnt score when it mattered. This season, Suarez's pichichi also won the trophy so if you think it wont count then am sorry for u. You said he became the outright UCL highest goalscorer, did he score all the goals this season? No offence but that's a retarded point. Also in Ronaldo's first season at Madrid, they lost in the Round of 16, it was after Di Maria's purchase and Modric too that they got to the semifinals the next year with a good coach too so again you are incorrect. |
Marcelini:You agree with me yet you want to disagree with yourself. I named up to 10 matches where they didn't win where they actually needed him but where was he? He was nowhere to be found so unless you explain to me where he was in those matches you still don't have a point there. There you go again. Thank you, you named only one game where MSN were missing right? Ok, but didn't you consider the fact that the continously showed up for 38 league games?! We won the league, we played 38 games to win that trophy, we performed consisitently for 38 matches, the champions league is just 12 games, and Ronaldo performed extremely well in only 3 or 4 of the games, so what rubbish are you talking about?! You named only one match where they were missing, i just told you that it was the linesman's fault that a penalty wasn't awarded at the death because then we would have won. And point of correction, we beat Atletico and they beat us too, just that they scored more goals than we did, Madrid couldn't even beat Atletico with an offside goal! There goes your mentality, goals goals goals. Please wake me up when Ronaldo has the highest number of assists in the champions league or UCL or any tournament infact, shows just how selfish he is no? You can name goals, I can name goals plus assists, that totally nulifies whatever you are saying. Messi held the record before Ronaldo, what makes you think he couldn't beat it? He is no more our primary goalscorer so why should that be his problem? Ok, so you know better than the coaches who would tell their best penalty taker to take the first one? Please remind me the last time the best penalty taker in a team took the last penalty? I mean even Juanfran who missed his penalty actually scored the game winning penalty against PSV because he was under no pressure whatsoever! I can name other examples if you want. You do realize that in 2013 Ronaldo won absolutely nothing? Not even the league, Copa or anything. And where was he outstanding? I understand your problem sha, now let me educate you, Ronaldo won the 2013 Balon D'Or because the dates were extended, Messi was the outright winner but Fifa decided to reopen the voting system immediately after the Portugal Vs Sweden game, and he then won by the slimest of margins. Ronaldo did nothing that season, I mean nothing! I can't remember correctly but he wasn't even the highest goalscorer that year but I will recheck and get back to you. In 2013 it was Borrusia Dortmund that defeated Madrid in the semi, not Bayern and it was humiliating. Lewandowski scored 4 goals and Ronaldo went missing. Bayern defeated Barca too with Messi out injured, you don't even know what you are arguing bro. Last season Messi didn't just win the UCL, he won everything possible, that wasn't even a debate,he had more assists+goals than Ronaldo so that was why he won. And please, the UCL is not the most determining title, the league requires consistency and Barca and Messi and Suarez have been consistently good for a whole season not just in patches so again you are wrong |
KINGinVALHALA3:bro, you didn't watch that match. The game was so dull that nobody realized that fullbacks even played in that game. It was just police football, shoot on sight. There was no time for any overlaps, no time for anything literally. But you are correct, Isaac Success needs to have a future in this team once he reduces his har > then I wouldnt mind Hull City's Odubajo playing as our right back, Musa Mohammed does not even come close. For me the ideal team with back-ups will be;GKs: Ikeme and (do we have anyother goalkeeper? We really need to beg Enyeama) Rbs: Odubajo, Musa Mohammed. Lbs: Madu, Echejille. Cbs: Omeruo and Leon Balogun should be our permanent partners or if Leon Balogun moves to full back then Troost Ekong should move in there, Oboabona is just a bench piece, together with some other random defender. Mfs: Onazi and Mikel can function as our double pivots if we want to play a 4-3-3 But judging by the players we have, we should be considering a 4-1-3-2 formation, with Mikel or Onazi as the sole pivot, Musa, Iwobi and someone like Victor Moses or Moses Simon, preferably Moses Simon. Success should be there too as a bench piece for now. Forwards: Ighalo, Iheanacho, Ideye and someother striker. My lineup would be: Ikeme; Odubajo, Balogun, Omeruo, Madu; Onazi; Musa, Iwobi, Simon; Iheanacho, Ighalo. Mikel can't play as a single pivot so it makes it hard to include him, Victor Moses can replace Musa or Simon or Iwobi thus providing competition and keeping them fresh, Isaac Success too has changed to a complete winger now at Granada, hopefully he will join Watford too and show his stuff in England, he is pacy and strong but a terrible finisher, so we need to keep him as far away from the goal as possible, he can provide width on the flanks. Then Ideye and can do exactly what Ighalo is there to do-hold up play. I wrote this by 1am so I dont really remember most of our players, feel free to add any new names or formation |
Marcelini:you should try to make some sense bro. So he wasn't needed against Man city? His team won because of an own goal, he could have made it two. He wasnt needed against PSG? Again they drew the match 0-0, and if not for Casemiro they would not win the second leg either. So they didn't need him against Atletico? You just decided to name 3 matches were he performed and I can assure you that that's all there is to him, those 3 games. I can name 10 where he was needed and he didn't perform. The 4-0 drubbing by Barca, the 1-0 loss to Atletico, the 1-1 draw with Malaga where he ironically missed a pk, the 2-2 draw with Valencia, the 3-2 loss to Sevilla, the 1-1 draw with Atletico again and the other champions league games that I mentioned. That's more than 10 already! So please, don't tell me that Madrid can't beat Wolfsburg without Ronaldo, they did beat Man city without him literally, and apart from the Wolfsburg game he is done, nothing extraordinary to his game again. Your second point shows that you have never played a penalty before. The most tense penalty is the first one, why? Because you will have absolutely no time to study the goalkeeper. There is a reason why the best player in any team takes the first penalty, because the first penalty requires precision. I mean, the last time Ronaldo took the first penalty what happened? Against Chelsea, he bloody missed! What if Madrid missed their first 3 penalty kicks? They would have lost without him kicking a penalty. Now if you watch slowly, Oblak was going thesame way all the time, there was no tension behind that PK, if he missed they wouldn't have lost instantly, the pk would have gone on, so that reduces the tension to the barest minimum. And please, against Barca he wasn't needed either, Bale did score the 3rd goal that would have still won that match. Finally, do you see the flaws in your argument? In 2013 he was the highest goalscorer, so highest goal scorer instantly means best player?! Robben got to the semifinal of the world cup too to add to his champions league medal, Messi got to the final of the world cup too but because Ronaldo scored more goals that makes him better? Well let me explain something to you, the balon D'or is for your performance between January and late November, do you know who the highest goalscorer is since January? Why it's Suarez, second? Messi. Do you know who has the highest number of assists since January? Why it's Messi, second? Can't really recall, Suarez or Mahrez, so using your logic of goals, Ronaldo shouldn't even be in the top two either so bummer, you ruined yourself |
Millex:if an Anatomist offers physiology too, I can't complain much, I might just call it medical diversity but an Anatomist going for biochem too? I don't know again o, but this is the first time sha |
I am forced to join this thread now. How is Ronaldo the main contender? Sure he scored 16 goals in the champions league but did you check the goals? 6 goals against Malmo, 5 against Donetsk, 3 against Wolfsburg and 2 against Roma, Zero against Atletico, zero against PSG and zero against Man city. It's as if as the level of the team increases his goals diminish, you can only score against who you play but he didnt even score against those he played. Talking about the champions league, thank God for the ref, Madrid would have lost, what with an offside goal and all what not, where was Ronaldo then? Diving away his time, granted the ref helped Barca defeat Atletico in the first leg(which wasnt an aid at all, it was a clear red card but ok), then in the return leg what happened? We had a clear penalty in the last minute and the ref overlooked it, yet no one remembers that but it's all good sha. In the game against Wolfsburg, Ronaldo scored a header, a freekick another useless goal, they are all goals I agree, but they were team goals, yet you all are assigning all the praise to him. Then in the semi he got injured and when he came back, he still didnt score, final nko? Worse. Then finally, you all seriously think that the UCL decides who the Balon D'or winner will be?! In 2013, CR7 didnt win any trophy yet he took it home, and you think that because his team won this trophy with little or no aid from him makes him the front runner? Thats just dellusional to say the very least, meanwhile in the league, he missed a penalty against Malaga which would have given his team the extra 2 points they needed to win the league yet you guys don't understand that he cost his team right there but well, thats your problem |
Donpre:Wel, they aren't among the top universities anyway so what do you expect? An anatomy student doing biochem? That's quite messed up though, then what's the difference there?! |
Xlad:You do understand that he is playing up top with Ideye abi? So we still need an out and out striker, Iheanacho plays off a striker, something you can call playing as a false striker or a support striker sometimes so no, we still need a striker |
This game is bloody darn meaningless. I mean it took England just 3 weeks to appoint Roy Hudgson after Capello and he took charge of the next game instantly and started working his way towards his goals. Del Bosque will retire, they have already lined up Paco Gimenez to replace him or Unai if he is willing to, that's how SERIOUS countries develop their football. Football is a continous process, who is this Boboye now? Where them carry that one come from? He won't be our coach when we start the qualifers for the world cup so what the hell is he still doing there?! Meanwhile if he becomes the permanent manager I will tell Supersports to stop showing me Nigerian games till he quits or gets sacked, whichever comes first. Now he is using Nacho as an attacking mid, the next manager might want to use him as a suport striker or even a hybrid false 9, what will that mean? He will start getting in Iwobi's spaces thus preventing Iwobi from operating and the cycle continues till even Carl Ikheme won't know what to do next. This game makes no sense to me, I dey watch better England game, Rashford is going to start so let's hope for a good game This game is bloody darn meaningless. Superjaytop:Isn't it possible for you to just change to Medicine after your 100 lvl? Or is it not done like that in OOU? That seems better, just obtain a substantial CGPA and you should be good to go. |
I don't want to say much since I don't know much about this system of education right now, but I felt like I needed to say something. Someone said along the line that she/he was admitted into MCB if I'm correct, but he/she wants to reject and apply for medicine through Jamb the next year, that is crazy! I don't know how it's done in other schools but in Unizik where I just graduated from, you can change from any course to Medicine, heck the best graduating student from my set was actually admitted into Botany in his first year, he got 5.0 in his first year and sharply switched to Medicine and he is a doctor right now. I just decided that I had to say this because I noticed that the admission process for some schools have all commenced and some new kids will be admitted into some courses that they don't like, here is my advice(s): 1) If it's a not-so-lucrative course like the botant i mentioned, please just resit for Jamb, first of all, these small small science courses are maths inclined and very hard(Just compare anatomy and biochem you go see am), and the chances of you being able to change is slim, in fact, very slim, except if you are quite intelligent which isn't always the only criteria, you need luck too, and you can't decide to finish up the Botany, that would just be a factual waste of time. 2) If it's a health related course then by all means grab it(except maybe Anatomy, that one....). Because like i said earlier, I believe you can switch courses after your first year and even if you were not able to switch you are still in safe hands, Physiotherapists earn an average of 120k per month during their internship, Medical lab attendants-120-130k, Radiographers- 140k or so, so if you do manage to get any of these 3 courses together with Nursing and pharmacy(physiology? Hmmmmm, maybe too) then grab it please, switch course if you can but if you cant continue, 5 years later you will not regret a single year of your life. That's just my candid advice really, please I would like to know if other schools actually do have the option of changing courses after their first year if you have a favourable CGPA so that I won't be so conclusive next time, I took an oath to save lifes as a doctor, so I'm just doing my job....saving people's future careers! |

prinsam30:I agree with you on all topics except Ighalo,he has had little or no service,do not blame him yet,let him tire them some more, maybe 70mins |
This half has been generally poor, but when I remember that Everton Vs Chelsea also finished like this in the first half then I can draw enough hope from that, moving on,I dont know what that aboki(Aminu Umar) is doing on that pitch,i really hope he was pasted there to tire them out,he should not come out of the tunnel, big big ups to Mikel, then we do not need to sub Ighalo,we need another striker who he will play infront of,we need Moses Simon then push Moses into that position or bring in Iwobi for Moses and Iheanacho for Etebo(we do not need two pivots,Mikel has been good) |
