INTRODUCTION

Nature has always bestowed humanity worth unlimited opportunities to shape his surroundings and the world generally.From the oceans to the mountains and from the canyons to the reeds,mankind has faced and surmounted nature's challenging obstacles.All over the world,picturesque cities have been built on mountains and railway tunnels have been constructed underwater to link destinations.where some mere mortals see obstacles,men of courage and vision see opportunities and flexibility.Such is the story of Eko Atlantic City.

Quick recap: Since 2013, there have been an aggressive land reclamation project along the Bar Beach coastline called Eko Atlantic City which is now at the final stage. At completion,Eko Atlantic City will be sitting on about 10kms(4 square miles) of land.This is an area located just adjacent to Victoria Island by the Lagos Bar Beach.It will be comparable to the Manhattan District of New York as the developers disclosed.The area will be approximately the size of the district which boasts some of the world's tallest sky-scrappers.Eko Atlantic City will even be larger than a handful of beautiful Island countries.

Furthermore, Eko Atlantic City will be home to 250,000 people of differnt nationalties and ethnicity. Developers said it will be world-class housing projects and residential towers.It is also expected that 150,000 will commute to the city daily for business.This is approximately half the population of a couple of states in the USA and more than the population of several island counties in the world. To put into perspective,it will be greater than the population of countries like Cape Verse,Bahamas,Brunei,Iceland,Malta,Belize.

The contract for the construction of Eko Atlantic City was awarded to South EnergyX,a subsidiary of the Chagoury Group in 2006.This was after Hi-Tech Construction Ltd,also a subsidiary of Chagoury Group,completed the km Shoreline protection of the Lagos Bar-Beach.

It will connect to an independent source of electricity and not the national power grid.stable power supply is a magnet for investment opportunities.

In a couple of years from now,Africa's Dubai will be sitting on the Atlantic Ocean.such will be a triumph for Marin Engineering.It happened in Dubai,and in Singapore,this time its happening in Nigeria.

Eko Atlantic will be a city to live and work in. With its tree-lined boulevards, waterways, manicured gardens, elegant plazas, three marinas and a stunning ocean front promenade, the new city will be a complete contrast to the congested, traffic-filled streets of Lagos.

I think in Nigeria mggot farming would make sense if you are the consumer as you are not likely to get a good price but it is a useful input into fish farming e.g. I don't think tis is for a beginner

It's no news that every lady seek financial security in a relationship. However, it's a lubricant to a smooth relationship

A female friend of mine shared her experience with a rich illiterate working in a garage who happens to be the chairman of commuter association and also a car dealer asked her out for a relationship.

According to her, she somewhat loves the guy but one thing that turns her off in him is the fact that he's structurally and constructively deficient in English. Take for example, instead of saying : Why are you doing this to me? He will say "Why do me this sister" ?

She said some friends advised her to marry him as no is barely flawless when it comes to speaking good English. They further stressed that he can later go for English lesson; While others said she should screw him up and dump his ass.


Now the question is, Can You Date/Marry A Wealthy Illiterate Man?

If he is worth more than $5 million and good looking, then I will give it a serious thought.

Cue poltical bias, this is an admirable act. Hopefully, he can reduce the salaries of top politicians in Naija.
To put into perspective, Nigerian senators earn ~$ 2 million which means a ratio of more than 1000 times the average income. Now, compare it to the salaries of politicians in other countries, you will see how much the country is being duped.

It is high time people open their eyes and address the issue rather than defending thieves that didn't care about you.

Personal hygiene is not a 'feminine' thing and cannot be over emphasized.

The bolded part doesn't holds true in most cases. Generally, you will find most people who complain about poor hygiene are clean themselves.
You are who you attract. If you have been getting hit on by dirty guys, then it's a sign you are probably dirty yourself. Therefore, have a self reflection and stop complaining about dirty guys, because both genders are as guilty as each other.

Absolutely. Unfortunately, I don't think the situation will improve anytime soon with the selfish motives of most politicians.
Despite the undeserved high income from the government, the northen part of Nigeria still has the worst per capita income in Nigeria, which is telling. They are aware of this, and will try their best to oppose fiscal federalism. This just makes the future of Nigeria really bleak, socially, politically and economically.

The northern part of Nigeria just want everything to themselves. What happened to accountability and taking responsibility for your actions?
Why should the southern region sacrifice more funds to the NE, just because they couldn't tame their brothers and also help their exaggerated population?
I find it really disturbing a governor can plead amnesty for a notorious group such as Boko haram.
I am beginning to understand the reasoning behind lower Niger movements. In light of all these, it is now obvious the northen people now lives in a bubble and are just happy to milk this marriage of convenience called Nigeria.
Even without lower Niger or southern region formation, the SW, SE, SS will still be better off each on their own.

Edit: I am as progressive and liberal as they come, but this is unacceptable.
