Why criticize this man? Isn't he being innovative? Reality shows are quite popular among the young generation but most shows' contents are too 'evil'. This man workout a way to leverage reality shows to preach christianity. Now why criticize him? You people would still criticize him for being archaic if he practiced the puritanical Christianity, you lot already criticize muslims for this.

Ekiti State IEC is touted to be the best in the country. While camping in Ekiti during NYSC, the REC bragged about this and according to him it's due to how they invest more I training. They're usually the first. They've relatively small population too though

You are the one getting it wrong, BVAS can track how everyone voted in the 30 people and can revealed those who weren't accredited, don't forget there are finger prints on the ballot papers, it's just a matter of scanning the finger prints and comparing to the accredited voters in the BVAS. Fulani at work again. If they can hate Yoruba this much, is it Igbo they will accept at the odd hours. Obi should know that any support from northern oligarchy is nothing but ruse. They may not be educated but very wise politically.

Don't you think it's part of political wisdom to support a candidate that'll win. Point of correction North doesn't hate Yorubas. You have no evidence bar rumors and hard tales. Stop peddling these stuffs. If there's any hatred between North and Igbos, the hatred is mutual. We can go back to history to see who first started it but there's no need. It doesn't matter who was right or wrong. Going forward, we can all do things differently better. Remember, the North is after all a group of people where every individual will decide to support whoever they want.

As for odd hours, I have followed politics a little to have seen people changing support even at the death.

The fact you mentioned someone's name as that, shows objective conversation can't be held with you. Good luck

I agree with OBJ. Deep down if we remove all ifs and sentiments we know who's better for the country at this moment. But this is politics, only votes count and being the best doesn't necessarily matter.

The North is overrated. Jonathan won in a landslide in 2011. He didn't win in the North. Don't let anyone deceive about the preponderance of the North. All na scam.
Nobody will attend Tinubu's rallies without financial inducement. Nobody at all. The person dey ment?
Baba can't buy his way this time.
Even a Tinubu will struggle to beat this performance in the North. Jonathan won in Kwara, Kogi, Benue, Nasarawa, FCT, Taraba and Plateau.

He had over a million votes in Kaduna, a Kardashian state. He had a generally good performance in across Northern states as well. Look at Niger, Yobe, Sokoto, Kebbi, Jigawa. Didn't win any but the defeat was minimal.

His no shoe story was inspiring and a lot Northern leaders were backing him.

He had Lagos support and the whole of SW.

I doubt if Obi can win all of SW as Dr Jonathan did. So, He will need votes from the North too.
Politics / Re: Doyin Okupe: Peter Obi Will Get Above 40% In Lagos And Kaduna by MidasKinki: 2:50pm On Dec 27, 2022
AirFireEarthH20:

It's possible too in Kaduna. Southern Kaduna has about 51.2% population going by the last census. Why do you think all the parties join forces to attack Obi everyday, Obi and LP they call structureless? APC and PDP have employed very smart, intelligent and experienced elections forecasters and strategists, and those people have told them the damage LP can do to their presidential ambitions. While NW and NE is going to be a strong fight with APC, PDP and to a lesser extent, NNPP, APC and PDP have zero chances of winning SE. On the other hand, LP is doing well in SS and making inroads in SW and NC. Considering there are 3 strong candidates + 1 contesting, you should understand why the various propaganda against Obi.

It's practically impossible in Kaduna. Of course nothing is entirely impossible in life but this is like saying Madagascar will win the World Cup.

Your Census Data is also obviously wrong. Also PDP has huge support among the Southern Kaduna. So their votes doesn't automatically translate to LP.

If Peter Obi get 40% votes in Kaduna State that'll result to him winning Kaduna. Can you honestly project that?

40% could also be enough to win Lagos too.

This is just opposition at work
He said Natasha and Bello were hence Bello should be allowed to lord over her? Natasha was removed from the APC senatorial candidate list before the 2019 APC primary election because Bello anointed the current inept sleepy head senator.

As for op saying Natasha is a lawyer that's never won a case it's embarrassing. The wealthiest lawyers aren't the one hustling in courts but the ones representing organization, individuals and preventing them from ever appearing in courts.

NYSC program should be scrapped. It's a waste of time and energy.

After graduation, and students are mobilized for NYSC, FG should just issue nysc certificate and 1 year allowance (₦33,000 x 12 months = ₦396,000) over to the prospective Corp members.

The money would be useful for entrepreneurial skills acquisition that will equip graduates to become self employed, and further create business opportunities for themselves. (Atleast for those who are serious minded)

The NYSC program is more about the service to be delivered to the country than the money and certificate paid.

How can you scrap the service out of it but not the money and certificate. If it will be scrapped it should be in totality like everything.

Input type of number doesn't work as expected on Firefox from my experience and input generally returns a string no matter what you pass to it. Checking if the value is a number will always return false.

op do if (isNaN(Number(inputPhone.value)))

This worked for me in one of my projects. Also try using triple equal to instead of double if you can. Its minor but it reduces chances of bugs

Thanks Boss. I will try this out right away

Are you a farmer? No? Well, that's what I thought. Now, listen to a Benue boy educate you on farming in Nigeria.

- First of all, lemme break it to you that "good roads" aiding transportation is just a secondary school business studies meme. No matter how rugged a road is, our trucks will pass.

- Silos you say. If we encourage producing so much rice —more than we can consume, do you finding a way to store it will be a problem? Only the revenue generated from exporting it can handle the needed storage facilities (and once again, production gives birth to infrastructure)

- Communication
You're kidding, right? Don't get me started.

- Bridges, railways, "infrastructure is key"

Of course, infrastructure is key, however, the question is, should it be prioritised over production?

I'm a farmer. I run an Agro brokerage group too. I was getting angry reading this until I get to the part where you wrote "of course infrastructure is key". That's it. I will take every other things you wrote as just normal NL bants. Good night.

Investing on infrastructure isn't bad especially when handled rightly. Optimal investment on electricity, transportation only can really do a magic for the economy.

I got what Mr Peter Obi is driving at but rulling out infrastructural development in it's entirety as you guys are making it seems on this thread is wrong. A production economy is not an economy with absence of consumption. It'll be unrealistic to see it as such rather it's simply an economy with positive net production. more resources geared towards production.

I now understand that, coming up for the first time in Kaduna with Muslim Muslim ticket was a ploy to test the waters for their agenda for 2023 election.

These people are master planners !

Look at the rate at which the Christians are being massacred under the watchful eye of El Rufai Mr capacity.

Now I strongly believe that there's an Islamic agenda going on in Nigeria !!

Are you in anyway suggesting that we have only Christian victims of banditry in Kaduna? Like WhyTF will anyone be like that?

You people machination is appalling. You have already trained your eyes to not to see people of other religions who have suffered from insecurity in Kaduna state because it doesn't serves the conspiracy you push. You filter statements, happenings, misrepresent them in ways that suit your evil cause. This is not right though. Never right.

Politics / Re: Between A Muslim-Muslim Ticket and A Return Of Presidency to North by MidasKinki: 10:38pm On Jun 10, 2022
TheFacelessMan:

Sorry to be so blunt.

1. Northern Christians are despised in their region and have very little influence. In fact, Dogara has control of just 3 LGAs in Bauchi State - as strong as he's touted. Tinubu will definitely lose if he tries it. If you notice, El Rufai said he would do Muslim / Muslim ticket in Kaduna, and he won. Didnt you also notice that Tinubu didn't waste time during campaign with delegates in certain regions?

2. Now, one secret that Southern people don't know, Atiku is really hated in the North. He has a reputation of a snake. He's widely abused as a homo and not a true Muslim. He's said to have been cursed to never be President by a popular Islamic Cleric. To be honest, I still don't understand the hate.

3. Tinubu will pick someone very strong from the North and he will be a Muslim. Northerners even see it as a revenge because OBJ foisted an unhealthy Yaradua that didn't really rule actively. They feel BAT might die in power or the VP does most of the heavy lifting.

By the time Tinubu calls meetings of traditional religious leaders and the big Pastors of Yorubaland e.g. Adeboye, Kumuyi and Oyedepo.... you will be shocked how the potential 60% SW votes turns to 80 or even 90! Oh I even forgot his wife is a Pastor in RCCG and not in the Senate (free to campaign). Remi will go to mega churches - Yorubas undisputably have the biggest.... and preach every Sunday.

Bloc votes from SW and a North 50/50 or even 40% from North will win it for BAT.

Politicians do their calculations well... no matter Atiku's vice, he's very unlikely to win. That's just the reality.

Tinubu is a strong politician but I doubt anyone was sure he would soundly thrash President + Vice President + Senate President + Party Chairman. Did we really expect such a wide margin?

Politicians are like sharks, they easily smell blood in the water I.e. they quickly jump to the side of a potential winner. The APC primaries was an eye-opener for many. SS will smartly fall in line, BAT might not win there but he will do better than projected. SE will be stubborn as usual and unfortunately shout marginalization later. Unfair it might seem but true.

The main election campaigns might be physically tasking for him, but he will very likely trounce Atiku. The other candidates don't matter at all; not worth mentioning.

Tinubu can only lose if he chooses Ganduje (bad reputation) or a Northern Christian. Or Yoruba/Yoruba ticket .... grin grin

I'm a Northerner, Seems you're from the North too. LOL

I reckon Tinubu's biggest shot maybe Mal Nasiru

Atiku's problem is the 14 NORTHERN GOVERNORS. Too much for him to work around.
But there's still a little time for enough smear campaign to influence opinions a bit. There are certain collaborations/partnership that could still happen to shake things a bit.
Politics / Re: Aftermath Of APC Primary: Ohaneze Youths Drum Support For Peter Obi by MidasKinki: 10:27am On Jun 09, 2022
The problem here is that you insulted all of the north and at the end you said all of Nigerian youth should support your Igbo dream.
You think the Northerners are lesser humans, you even insult Igbo leaders that are friends with us. Even regular Igbos here in the North complained that whenever they visit home they are ridiculed, called awusa goats and they said they dare not speak Hausa at home.

There's nothing of ours that can impress you as you find fault in everything we do. You insult our history, culture, occupation and tradition and sees only yours as sane. I don't have problem if you insult me or Buhari or any northern individuals but how can you insult everything we are and still want our supports. You display all these bigotry and yet accused us of bigotry which in all sense is retaliatory.

Majority of us who are not delegates here we all rooted for a South-West APC presidential candidate emergence and our governors writing in support of same is only consequent of the mass call. We always want to honor agreements. Even if Buhari didn't want Tinubu (which isn't even verified), he didn't interfere with the process, he only encourage others to run and campaigned well. I was in support of the vice president but majority of my friends argued that prof is a 'munafiki' that they preferred Asiwaju. But the fact is that we all wanted a Yoruba emergence.

On the other hand, I won't say the same things if it's between us and you. IGBO WILL BE PRESIDENT. IGBO PRESIDENCY IS POSSIBLE AND WILL BE ACHIEVED. But there are things that need to be done FIRST. We need to end animosity and build mutual trust. We are largely uneducated and you're educated, the onus is on you to use your education to this effect. The time is running out because if for anything, Buhari's emergence shows that collaboration with your region is not as important as we thought. Now Tinubu will field a Northern mate strengthening that collaboration with Igbo region is not necessary.

Now to your Obi presidency, North won't support him that collaboration to foster mutual trust and respect need to be done FIRST and I doubt if there's time for that before 2023 as every talk now will not be honest and will be linked to just be because of the elections. Peter Obi will even struggle to find a popular Northerner to run alongside him - that'll be political suicide for the Northerner. How can they run alongside someone whose people are still insulting our being as their campaign strategy.

Why Northerners don't support Igbos politically? Besides that Igbos don't support Northerners politically too there are more and I will write about it sometime.

Lagos State during endsars havoc was later aimed and labeled against igbos, meanwhile their sons where murdered by military acting on a command, yet Igbos are their problem

Oga ju, see what North Don do Tinubu for APC. At this point everyone just needs to understand that the north will only befriend you to get opportunities from you and when it's their turn to help you get into power they desert you. They don't like the south ruling over them. It's at this point that Nigeria needs good restructuring. Let the north and south divide.

How has the North deserted Tinubu? Several Northern leaders are leading his campaign. I guess by the North you mean Buhari. What would you want him to do? He has narrowed his choice to the South as he promised officially in 2015. You want him to hand pick Tinubu directly because Tinubu "helped" him? What of Rotimi Ameachi? Who was Buhari's Campaign DG in 2015 and 2019 and traveled the country with him. What of Osinbajo's role to Buhari's campaign in 2019? Lots of Buhari's "helpers" are in the ring. They either reach consensus within themselves or battle it out within themselves.
