Rayhutar:
He did not make a careless statement, Tunubu and most of your politicians are liars and some of you masses prefer liars as your leaders instead of the one that will tell the true situation of things, you guys in Nigeria like your leaders to be lying to you guys all the time and given you guys fake hope, that is why Nigeria is poo, in other countries, the politicians tell the masses the truth, if something go wrong they will tell the masses how many months it will take to fix it. You guys are used to lying and liars giving fake hope, why people continue suffering

Wail on girl,it won't stop Nigeria frm movin forward cheesy

JennyNwa22:
President Muhammadu Buhari’s election victory in the opinion and expectation of majority of Nigerians and African was seen as an opportunity for a total transformation of Africa’s sleeping giant, but the events in the last 10 months have shown otherwise.

According to a study by Nigerian Governance Watch, a United Kingdom (UK) based Nigerian Professionals group, revealed that President Buhari is beret of idea to manage, have no focus, unstable and extremely incompetent in every sphere to shape the affairs of any Nigeria.

The group come short of blaming the President, but Nigerians who knew the antecedent of Muhammadu Buhari while in office in 1984 to 1985 and blindly went for a man who have not created anything, but only destroys the gains of his predecessors through his thoughtless policies and zero understanding of the workings in a public sector.

As a military leader, Buhari killed the Naira, killed the Economy, destroyed our relationship with the rest of the world, polarized the country on tribe and religion, impoverished Nigerians to the extent that Nigerians were queuing up for essential commodities like Milk, Rice and Bread.

On Buhari’s return in May 2015, he has within this short period, turned Africa’s biggest and fastest growing economy to a shrinking one. Crashing the GDP from about 7.0% to 2.4%, Inflation jumping to 11.6% from 9%, over 2 million Nigerians losing their jobs, FDI dropped by over 85%, Maternal and Infant mortality is at all time high as result of poverty, malnutrition and diseases.

In a dwindling revenue, Buhari did the unheard of, instead of reducing the budget, he increased the budget from N4.3trn to N6.07trn. He presented the most fraudulent, inflated and irredeemably padded budget.
The Nigerian Governance Watch stated that they were not surprised, as President Buhari they described as a “very serious” leader, in a recession period did not deem it fit to appoint a single Economist among the 36 names in his cabinet.

They frowned at the president’s inability to set up an economic Team after 10 months in office and only resorting to intuition, thumb rules and application of Adam and Eve economies in this 21st century.

On the political front, the condemned President’s deliberate interventions in the electoral process and his use of security agencies to intimidate the opposition and the assassination and killing of people of diverse opinion.

The UK based group, according to Hope For Nigeria is worried that President Buhari who benefited in one of the best organised elections in Africa just few months ago have been unable to successfully organise any election in the country.

His determination to ensure that his party members and cronies win all the elections has lead numerous killings, kidnapping and in most cases annulling results or declaring them inconclusive where his party is losing hopefully, like the case of Rivers state re-run election.

In conclusion, according to Hope For Nigeria, the group advised President Buhari to swallow his pride and recall some of the experts from previous governments that meticulously guided the Nigerian economy to be the largest in the continent. They added that It is not about Buhari as the leader, but the paramount thing is the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians.

PoliticsRe: Okonjo-iweala Advises On How To Handle Corruption by mideactive: 12:43pm On Mar 23, 2016
U mean ur only definition of Capital projects are roads, schools.so u don't knw advance countries invest heavily in science research n technology dat gulps far more money dan roads n bridges.anyway, dat's not b basics of Argument.perharps,we'r not even close yet.unfortunately,we'r still in a faze we're our politician still campaign wit roads n wat av u.n u should understand d %tage of educated ppl in Nigeria is very low,n even d educated once ar half baked..naira to dollar is determined strickly by import n export of guds n services.if a country has a favourable balance of trade 4 a given,it's currency 'l definitely be strengthned against d dollar.ur reserve shows d strength of ur countries economy.incase of global recession u can always find something 2 fall back on,dat 'l enable d economy run without feeling much hit frm d ash economy.we were sellin our oil @ a very gud price wen Sanusi was d cbn gov.dat's y I said I don't understand.NOI had every opportunity 2 fix a lot,but she failed n she knws it.we cannot keep devaluatin,it has never changed anything.all it brings is inflation again n again,we still end up @ d same spot.there's not wrong in doing things differently
yaki84:
show me one undeveloped country whether in africa or asia or north america that has reserves more than 50billion dolls?
go check venezuela, they r in worst state probably because of wastages of oil funds due to bad policies, policies like subsidy.
advanced countries or developed countries dont do super highways or construct schools or hospitals cos their founding fathers built all these things n keep, their duty is to maintain those structures.
in advance countries their central bank chiefs dont fixed the exchange rate, it is being determined by market forces, in nigeria d cbn fixe d exchange rate meanwhile in the open market wheŕe the main biznez take place it is diffrnt. this is another way corruption is encouraged. sanusi spent and depleted our reserves to defend the naira when he was d chief . I dont know how to explain dis but in lay terms it s like someone is leading u with 3goals n u use ur resources to buy the 3goals so u will be equal with him.
hv u heard obama commission roads before or schools?
diversification can only happen if we go back to true federalism. states shud control thier resources and also encourage to explore whatever resources they have. if we dont do this, diversification will just be a sweet song to the ears of gullible nigeriansesp when campaigning.
we cant keep doing the same thing and expect diffrnt results.

PoliticsRe: Okonjo-iweala Advises On How To Handle Corruption by mideactive: 12:56am On Mar 23, 2016
I don't understand wat u mean by 'advance counties don't invest in capital project'.n 'dat Sanusi used reserve2 defend naira'.I'm a lay man,pls clear me on dis points.moreover,u'r not just suppose2use ur reserve2 start buildin roads, schools n wat av u.dat's y it's called reserve. In times of a very hash economic situation dat we ar right now, is actually wen d reserve is needed.we would not have felt anything if our reserve is in a gud shape,we would av easily diversify.n I don't knw y u think d president should not peg d exchange rate,we'r ar nt producin anything apart from oil,we'v done naira divaluation so may time, wat has it changed.it had always ended killin naira.y not let us try a diff.approach n let's see d outcome.al we should be thinkin about is sellin more n buyin less, dat's d only way2 go
yaki84:
advance n developed countries pile up reserves cos they dont really have super capital project to invest on. investment thr is done by private enterprises cos there is enabling environment already on ground.
obj piled up reserves, did he achieve anything? no!
the roads were dead trap, power was poor, refineries moribund, infrastructures from medical to education poor, why pile up reserves for what?
sanusi came in n used the reserve to defend naira, putting a price tag on dollar n other forex isbad.do u knw hw much sanusi used in defending the naira because of his fixed policy on forex?
PoliticsRe: Okonjo-iweala Advises On How To Handle Corruption by mideactive: 12:35am On Mar 23, 2016
Excess crude money as got nothing2do wit wat d fed.govt. Should be saving as reserves.it's a norm2 share it among states.I'm nt vindicating d governors, but our reserve determins d strength of our economy.she had every opportunity @ strengthnin our economy,I still don't knw wat happened2 her.

400billionman:
Amaechi and his gang called governors forum depleted the excess crude account.
PoliticsRe: Okonjo-iweala Advises On How To Handle Corruption by mideactive: 12:26am On Mar 23, 2016
I wasn't talking about freedom fightin here, wat has dat got 2 do with bad economic planning n poor money management.she was made a supper minister above all others,I think d reasons is 2 allow prudency, better management, accountability n she was suppose 2 help drive our economy 2 a better position most especially wen d price of oil was very high.we'r not suppose2be talkin about Diversification anymore,by now, we'r suppose2 be talkin about somthin bigger.maybe technology advancement.she was not new2d economy,y I can't stop asking wat happened2 her.if she wasn't satisfied wit wat was goin on,she could av easily resigned.she gives one d impression dat she was really enjoyin d lootin..

esere826:
NOI is a money manager, not a freedom fighter. She will only make the best out of a bad decision. Under GEJ, who had no balls, the best she could do was to ensure that the right boxes were ticked while sharks both in party and in opposition swarmed around her with no one to fend them off.

Don't be surprised if she actually has a well articulated financial plan than cancels out the effect of the depletion of our foreign reserves during her time

Eel free 2 insult me as u wish.d fact still remains dat we'v got 3types of political comentators on Niaraland;corruption fighting back ppl, ipob n patriots..I got to knw who I'm comunicatin wit..I don't av any business wit d first two,cus they av chosen 2 drag down dis govt.n Nigeria wit it..but if u'r a patriot, our discussion 'l only n only b about national interest.it doesn't av 2 carry any form of bitterness.whichever way,I think u'v got to b patient4 mr president.tyms are very hard,it's obvious.if al we can do is insult him,it won't do us any gud.yes,it imperative dat we criticize, but we'v got 2 b constructive about it..

Were did u get d idea dat advance countries don't pile up reserves.ok agreed dat gej n Iweala had used it up 4 investments n infrastructure development.but whr ar u infrastrutures n whr ar d industries?

yaki84:
nigeria is a developing country, developing countries dont pile up monies in thier reserves as if na monument,. u use the monies u mek to build n improve the infrastructure on ground so investors can come in.
make buhari dey pile up money keep when u r in darkness n we all say our roads r deathtrap, refineries r down n we dey pile money keep.

B4 I respond,which one are u;corruption fight back,Ipob or a patriot?

theshadyexpress:
its cool for you to support a party but that should not for any reason becloud your ability to think rationally, this curre t admin has not provided any policy that has favoured any of the sectors of the economy, even industries that are fully reliant on locally produced materials are also feeling the brunt of the clulessness of this admin. its ok for any admin to champion a campaign for the patronage of local products both for consumption and production but it is completely daft to champion it in a pre-mature way. how can you just unilaterally ban the importation of goods and tell nigerians to start patronising local producers when no local producer exists? please once again it is good to support a course but that should not erase your ability to be rational. 1984 policies cannot work in a 2016 economy, you of all people should know that
