Five (5) Types of Students to Avoid in Nigerian Universities! *Must Read

No.1 -Freeloader:-

These people are the worst people you can meet in school because you can never gain anything from them. They have both male and female version. They depend on their fellow students for everything. Begging is their hobby, they never had money for anything yet they wear good clothes, use high end phones and even pay school fees before you do. They are disgracefully smart! Most of them do not have a place of abode, If you are their boyfriend/Girlfriend they wouldn't mind coming to stay with you and suck you dry. They can gist for Africa eeh.... I termed these group the worst because people find it very hard to give them space due to the way they carry out their plans.

No.2- Ndi Okacha Ama ra(I-Know-It-All-Group):-

These group of students are obsessed with their self acclaim intelligence. When you hear them talk, you might mistake them for graduate assistant in their department. They are usually among the first group to pass their papers during exam. They ask too much questions during lecture. They like to be noticed in every small gathering. They spent most of their academics time boosting than they do reading their books. One surprising thing about them is that their results are usually disappointing when compared to the degree of intelligence they profess.

No.3- The lost Tribe :-

These group are highly pitiable! Most of them have spent not less than 10 years in the university community which could be as a result of Self inflicted problems or family related problems. They know the in and out on campus. They are duly consulted whenever you want to via for any post in school. They spend most of their time on women, clubs, beer parlour, football viewing centres and sports betting shops. They rarely have time to reflect on their life to see if they could get themselves out of the mess they're into. Rolling with these types of people will not only distract you, but also destroy you.

No.4- Ndi Packaging:-

These group are highly deceptive, cunning and always forming what they are not. Everything about them is FAKE....from the way they speak to the clothes they put on. They leave in expensive hostels while their parents are as poor as poverty. They are always mimicking the life of a rich kid to attract rich kids as well as sweet-talk gullible girls into their bed. Their female version go into official prostitution( a.k.a runs) to fund and conceal their fake lifestyle.

No.5- Frenemy:-

Very dangerous set of people, they pose as friends, but they are your enemy. You may have them in your department, hostel, faculty and street. They call you pet names and smile to your face then talk rubbish and castigate you behind your back. They do not like it whenever something good comes to you, be it good grades, engagement, appointment or what have you. yet they parade themselves as your front line friends. Their friendship usually stop whenever school is on holiday and start when school commenced. They are only their whenever the going is good and disappear when hard times come.

ValentineMary:
Now I can see why u have so much faith because.u can't reason for urself. I don't doubt the existence of ur God because he does not prove himself. I doubt his existence because everybody who said he spoke to them and later on tried to prove his existence, all failed.
That would leave 2 options. Either he is not there or you are worshipping the wrong God.

Am saying all this based on the assumption that u are a christian.

I concur perfectly.Back then in my pre-degree days in CAS campus,EBSU,a girl in my hostel went to this same church(i no wan call name ooo) and after the year' UTME,her result was withheld and this student pastor requested that she should sow a seed by closing her bank account and sending it' content to the church. That was how she gave them 44000.After everything, the result was not released and she was not admitted that year.she later got admitted the following year and now she have a strong hatred for that church.
Fellow nairalanders, like they say,a word is enough for the wise.
Someone just confirmed it. This people use various techniques to defraud students their money

Why is it that the black man believes they can only prosper by giving to the churches, the pastor laying hands on them and sowing into pastor's life? Is it that the black race has been cursed by God to the extent that nothing good can happen to them unless they sow all their belongings into the churches were they are duped and waste all their precious time in one praying camp after the other?

Are we so different from the Asians, Americans and Europeans who by dint of hardwork and research were able to come out with inventions and achieve prosperity for their people. Must I take my contract bid to pastors to sprinkle holy water on it for it to succeed? Must I take my passport to a pastor for me to secure a visa? We are not the most righteous people on earth! All our currupt leaders attend churches or mosques and they give testimonies of their currupt enrichment to the religious leaders.

My people know your bible and stop serving these pastors. Be involve in charity as you help your neighbours as stated in the bible. Bill Gate has been helping people around the world more than the so called rich powerful pastors and God is blessing him.

The white man donate to foundations in solving various negatives that afflict humans while the black man donate to mosques and churches that benefits few.The black race should open their eyes and do some quality thinking and contribute to the world.

I don't like idea of people telling not to point out something wrong just because it has to do with men of God. So we should just sit and watch them strangle us just because they're men of God

My faculty girl has been pestering me to visit their church even if it could be just once in my whole life. I wanted to give an excuse but, i ended up saying yes, because I don't usually have an attitude of declining a pretty girl's request.....Winks.

Sunday morning, my sleep was cut short with her frequent calls, so i got up, dressed and headed to the church. Oh boy! the whole atmosphere was agog with shouts of joy and the church was deliciously beautified.

Not that long I arrived, a sharply dressed young man came over to the pulpit, and the congregation could not stop shouting until he told them it was enough. Owing to that thunderous applauses and shouts I knew he must be the Chief pastor.

When the congregation stopped shouting he said, "How many people want an 'A' this semester, can you give the Lord a big shout?". Almost all the students shouted on top of their voices. Some students started visiting the offering boxes to drop some bucks. You no how e dey be nah....

"if you believe the man of God Come
and seal your 'A' with a seed" he said. Students flooded the offering boxes with monies, "those of you sitting down, do you not want an A?" he chided. few people who were sitting down got up and went straight to the offering box. After that, he introduced his message title.

Before i continue let me brief you about this student pastor(the church founder). He was once a student of our school or rather he is still a student. He has spent over 10 years in the school environment, anybody who graduated from EBSU in the past decade will definitely know him or at least have heard about him. He drives cars that lecturers can only dream of. He specialises in defrauding students of the hard earned money of their parents in exchange of fake academic excellence. Hmm... I no call anybody name oh!

Students are made to pay tithes, sow seeds, (phones and laptops inclusive),fund projects, pay first fruits, and huge offerings in exchange of academic excellence. He has chains of students pastor under him, who also have the mandate of brainwashing students that good grades and success in life depend largely on how much you give to his ministry...which is completely untrue.

It is very shameful that such deception should take place even in the university community, people regarded as intellectuals should allow themselves to be deceived by just a fellow student.

How sensible is it for a student who is not working, whose parents are struggling to train in school, would be paying tithes, be giving pastor huge sum of money just to pass his exams or to succeed in life? Does God exchange good grades with money? It still beat my imagination that some students think that writing exam with an 'Anointed pen' would help them pass exam without adequate studying.

The worst part of it all is that these crooks rarely engage in any community development programmes...e.g sinking a borehole for students. Most of their members drop out of school because of inability to pay school fees yet they keep criminal silence. Their biggest dream isn't to help their members in any way, but to open up more church branches and maintain flamboyant lifestyle.

Christianity EtcThe Nigeria God Must Be Crazy! by Mightyify(op): 8:17pm On Nov 05, 2015
THE NIGERIA GOD MUST BE CRAZY!

The Nigeria God does not bless you if you are honest.
Honest people in Nigeria are not wanted around. If
you dare try to be honest in Nigeria , you're signing a lifetime contract with poverty. Your friends, neighbours and family
will mock you and Nigeria God will watch you suffer till you die.

They will tell you " No be my power
oo, nah (Nigeria) God do ham for me"
A corrupt politician will thank Nigeria God for opportunity to further impoverished the people. Armed robbers give thanks to this Nigeria God in every successful operation, prostitutes thank the Nigeria God for a booming prostitution business.

Drug barons glorify the name of the Nigeria God for helping
them lift drugs un-caught, 419 thank the Nigeria God
for bringing a good maga to them and pray more for
continuous success in 419 business.

Students cheat
their way to success during exam period, they do
all sort to get good grades, some pay for their
grade, some sleep with lecturers, some threaten
their lecturers with death, some carry expo to exam
halls etc and when they come out in flying colors
after each exams, the Nigeria God must be praised.
Can i forget those 'God of Men' that use God name
to enrich themselves buying privates jets, exotic
cars and living in porche house?

In Nigeria, we celebrate dis-honest people, corrupt people, fraudsters, thieves, prostitutes, drug barons, cheats, crooks etc. Just bribe this Nigeria God with your stolen, corrupt, and fraudulent money, you'll see how he will bless you in ten folds. I have a neighbour who lives three blocks away from ours, this man is very honest, but poverty is his best friend. I wonder when the Nigeria God will bless him.

I am currently in my life where am living with people who do not like me, no matter what I have done for them. I cannot categorically tell if the said hatred is out of jealous or what.

I am a student living in a hostel which I'm the president...I take my studies serious, passes my exam though I still manage to squeeze out some time to drink some beers with my girlfriend and hommies. I noticed that
no matter how hard I tried to please my hostel people, they don't just like me for some unknown cause.

They're always looking for a way to engage in quarrels with me, but outside the hostel I'm loved and cherished. I have severally queried myself and also asked people to access me to see what could be the cause, personally I couldn't fault myself and people who accessed me told me that 'NA BAD BELLE' dey worry them.

I'm confused now, Have any of you had such experience and how did you overcome it?

EggovinMma:
Yes dear.Life is like that.I have had experiences like that. There are friends, no matter what you do for them, they take it but show little appreciation. Please I want to beg you to be careful. Such people can be deadly. Do you know the funny thing such can come from both sexes who claim to be an acquaintance. I have had very bad , near death experience from people like that.

I use to have this female friend back in school that visits, she will come in and take what she likes and leaves.I started having issues with her when she picks things that are quite expensive (gifts from my man) without letting me know.No matter what I give her, she says thank you but will still continue to eye other better things. One day i came into town and was unpacking some stuffs. She was bending down beside my mirror as we were discussing. As i was unpacking, It came to a point when the whole room was quiet and I became curious, still sitting down, the position I was, I could see her reflection through the mirror facing me.What I saw was the coldest look. She didn't know i was watching her.I didn't cut the relationship off then, one of the mistakes I later regretted.

One thing you should know is this, such people as long as you see them everyday can harm you if jealousy/back belle push them further. Some will rejoice when misfortune visits you. The only thing you can do is to pray or move out.I moved out of my hostel and picked a flat instead with my best friend.Be careful. Students sef dey give their fellow students poison.

Again, make sure you have your personal kitchen. It's preferable to live in self contained houses. When you buy new things, don't tell them how much you got it even if they aasked. In my case, when I bring in something new, I always have a problem back then offloading them in the public. What I do is to get home first and ask someone to bring it in . Through out that day, I won't even come out.Na their windows dem go stay dey peep.

There are those you tell you bought something for maybe 5k, they argue and insult you because they feel you are lying. The argument will linger on even when you decide to be quiet. They tell you it's fake, forcing you to accept that its irrelevant and a waste of money. Every little or big money you spend to make yourself comfortable in school to them it's a "Show off".
You truly have been there

PoliticsRe: IGP Says Police Is The Least Corrupt Of All Nigerian Institutions by Mightyify(m): 12:11pm On Jun 08, 2015
Nobody has said anything reasonable to disprove the facts he presented. He never said police are not corrupt rather he said they are the least corrupt and went on to outline the strategy they have put in place to further reduce it.

Roadblocks and bail have been the major areas in which police men engage in corrupt practices... Now effort are in place to checkmate it. For me that's a nice move, kudos to Nigeria Police!

Somebody should help me with the help lines... Time to deal with some officers.
