I just discovered that i have this striking resemblance with Zahra Buhari. Check out the picture below. God please complete what you have started... I deserve a room in Aso rock as well.

I am really busy in school now, with a lot of assignments hanging on my neck. The completion of this story may not come now, please bear with me. Anyways, the message is clear and it has been passed. Shineeee your eye. Moderator if you like move to front page, if you like do not move... I don't doro care. |
Samchelsea:Are you kidding me? |
marvelling:Imagine! I think that should be emulated by all university authorities across the nation , all these extortion in the name of preaching should be banned |
Please moderator kindly move this to front page. Jambites and our undergraduates should be informed less they fall for this deception. Parents need to be informed too. They need to know where some of the money they sent to their children in school goes to... At the pocket of their fellow student. Those calling for the part 2...don't worry it is down already, let the moderator do the needful first. |
Mologi:He failed Mbbs exam...and began another course from year one. |
SeverusSnape:Gbam! Come see how they are bowing down in shaking him.... |
I wanted to do a political status today until i remembered what happened last semester in school. My faculty girl has been pestering me to visit their church even if it could be just once in my whole life. "Ify, we're having a special service on Sunday, you must come this time around" she said. I wanted to give an excuse but i ended up saying yes. Sunday morning, my sleep was cut short with her frequent calls, i got up, dressed and head to the church. "brother, you're welcome to the service" an usher said with a smile and pointed to me where to sit. The whole atmosphere was agog with shouts of joy, i was enjoying myself until i noticed two neatly dressed young outside the church auditorium discussing with one of them demonstrating with his hands. "who are those people?" i asked as if i was seeing the pastor for the first time, "our pastor of course, but the other man could be his friend, seems you're a first timer?' The guy sitting behind me replied. "hmmm, i hope it is not what i am thinking" i muttered to myself. I was not disappointed as the student pastor whose dressing was sharp introduced his friend (guest speaker) to the congregation and handed over the mic to him for his sermon. "how many people want 'A' this semester, can you give the Lord a big shout" he said. Almost all the students shouted to the extent i blocked my ears. I didn't know that someone could buy an A from God with just a shout, but at least I learnt that day. "Come and seal your A with a seed" he said. Students flooded the offering box with money, "those of you sitting down, do you not want an A?" he chided. few people who were sitting down got up and went straight to the offering box. After that, he introduced his message title. Before i continue let me brief you of this chief student pastor(the church founder). He was once a student of our school or rather he still is a student. He has spent over 10 years in the school, anybody who graduated from EBSU in the past decade will definitely know him or at least have heard about him. He drives cars that lecturers can only dream of. By now you must have been thinking how he managed to defraud students of such huge sum of money. Students are made to pay tithes, sow seeds (phones and laptops inclusive), first fruits, huge offerings in exchange of academic excellence. He goes to pre degree school where he arrests the minds of these youths who are desperately looking for admission and brainwashed them into believing that their admission and academic success is largely tied to him. Funny enough when these students are admitted into the university, they become his slave till their rest of days on campus. I have to admit that it is a shame that such deception should take place even in the university community, people regarded as intellectuals should allow themselves to be deceived by just a fellow student. How can a reasonable person think that writing exam with a pen anointed by a pastor will give him an 'A' when he did not study? How sensible is it for a student who is not working, whose parents are struggling to train in school, be giving a pastor huge sum of money just to pass his exams? Does God exchange good grades with money? Can you pass your exams even if you didn't give a pastor a penny? Well, let's return to what happened that day because it was even more surprising and disappointing at the same time. to be continued.... Stay tuned! |

Dear friends, This article is divided into six parts for easier reading and digestion. Part 1. The Professor Yemi Osinbajo that I know Part 2. My main reason for endorsing Buhari/ Osinbajo ticket is because of my personal encounter with President Goodluck Jonathan Part 3. Is Gen. Buhari an Islamic fundamentalist? Part 4. Why I believe President Jonathan is far more a fundamentalist than Gen. Buhari Part 5. ‘‘Pastor Sunday how dare you support a Muslim candidate’’? Part 6. Reasons why I cannot support Jonathan/ sambo ticket. Introduction: To paraphrase the great quotation ‘Plato is my friend — Aristotle is my friend — but my greatest friend is the truth’ by Isaac newton. In my words, I will say ‘Jonathan is my president, Goodluck is a Christian, but Nigeria is my greatest love’ I would like to appeal to everyone that will see this article not to be in a hurry to ‘stone’ me, especially before you finish reading it. This is because I have seen a lot of emotions, sentiments and prejudices from the comments that were written under the article I had earlier posted on my Facebook page. As a matter of fact, I was not planning to make my position a public knowledge, but seeing the reactions and the emotions that any form of support for Buhari/Osinbajo generates among Christians, I decided to make my position known at least to those who see me as a leader in the body of Christ. Mainly because of the above mentioned quotation that to me the destiny and future of Nigeria is paramount to any sentiment. I therefore believe that I owe it to my friends, colleges and posterity to explain why I believe the Buhari/Osinbajo ticket is the life line to the Nigerian nation right now. Of course you all have the right to your opinions and you have the right to agree or disagree, but I think it would be fair for you to hear my point of view. From the comments on my Facebook, I can envisage disappointment and disillusionment in a lot of my followers as a result of my position, I might actually be losing some friends and fans as a result but let’s not forget the words of Isaac newton ‘Plato is my friend— Aristotle is my friend — but my greatest friend is the truth’ . Therefore I say ‘Jonathan is my president, Goodluck is a Christian, but Nigeria is my greatest love’ Here we are continuing with part 4 of this 6 part article. Part 4. Why I believe President Jonathan is far more a fundamentalist than Gen. Buhari Ecclesiastics 10:16-17 16 Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child, and your princes feast in the morning! 17 Blessed are you, O land, when your king is the son of nobles, and your princes feast at the proper time— For strength and not for drunkenness ‘Plato is my friend— Aristotle is my friend — but my greatest friend is the truth’. Therefore I say ‘Jonathan is my president, Goodluck is a Christian, but Nigeria is my greatest love’ I am a pastor and I am happy that we have so many growing ministries and churches in Nigeria. It is our pride that Christianity is so popular in our country and that we have such a freedom of religion. Dear reader, let’s imagine ourselves as Muslims for a minute. Let’s assume you are a Muslim and what you see almost on a weekly basis is that your president is always flanked by leaders of his religion in a country where we don’t just have only Christians. In a diverse country like ours where Christians and Muslim are mostly on an equal footing, a Muslim could easily think why should his President often be surrounded mainly by Christian leaders? Either he is with the respected leaders of the Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) or on the prayer ground of some of the highly regarded and respected Christian churches. Supposing you are a Muslim and you see your president in such situations, is it not understandable for a Muslim to call him a Christian fundamentalist? Now let’s imagine that it’s a Muslim president (for example Gen. Buhari) that is always going from one mosque to the other always surrounded by various Muslim groups. I can imagine what kind of accusations would have been coming from my Christian brothers and sisters, in which case Gen.Buhari would not only be accused of been a fundamentalist, he would also have been accused of Islamizing Nigeria. But here is a Christian president doing what we would have called a fundamentalist act, yet we are accusing Gen. Buhari of been a fundamentalist when he doesn’t even do such things. As a pastor myself, I think it’s a good thing that the president is doing this. I would be happy if the president comes to my church too. I think it’s a good thing that we have that kind of freedom of worship in Nigeria. But let’s be fair, what would we actually say If Gen. Buhari is seen doing the same thing? My point is that we should have a fair play. Gen. Buhari should be allowed to practice his religion just as president Jonathan is allowed to practice his religion. The fundamental principle of the Christian faith states that we should treat others like we would like them to treat us. Matthew 7:12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Most often we don’t want to give a fair treatment to our fellow countrymen that belong to another religion. That is wrong! It is not fair!! Our God is first and foremost a God of love!!! Can someone tell me the last time you saw Gen. Buhari been flanked by popular leaders of his religion or kneeling down, praying with his Muslim clerics in a mosque? No, he makes his faith a personal affair. This is not the action of a Muslim fundamentalist! But rather from the actions of President Jonathan, it is tempting to say he is more of a fundamentalist than Gen. Buhari. Now, my Christian brothers and sisters- believe it, I am a Pastor and am not backsliding. Let’s just be objective! Put yourself in the shoes of another Nigerian who is not a Christian, someone who is not in any way a more inferior Nigerian by our constitution. Would you deny him the right to have a Muslim president in his own country just like we have our Christian president in President Goodluck Jonathan? How comfortable should a Muslim be to call himself a Nigerian after seeing that his president is always with leaders of his Christian religion? How comfortable will you be to say that this man is still my president if you were in their shoes? However, the Muslims in Nigeria have largely been gracious enough to know and understand that this is freedom of religion and not to raise too much alarm about it. But here we are as Christians calling a decent, a modest Muslim believer a fundamentalist just because he is serious about his religion, despite his efforts to keep it private. He is not even the president yet! What would we then say if he were to be flaunting his faith out there just like President Jonathan does? Please understand me, I am not saying this is necessarily bad but let’s put ourselves in others position. That is what objectivity means. That is what tolerance demands. It is bigotry, and it is religious nepotism that makes us think that when it benefits us we have all the right, but when it comes to others they don’t have the same right. For us it is acceptable. For us everything goes, but for others it is not acceptable. Why should we feel as Christians that we have a better or greater ownership of the country? Are we not all citizens of the same country with equal rights? Please let us think about the feelings of others who are fellow Nigerians of different religions who are not to be blamed that they were born in a non-Christian home. It could be anyone of us in their position. Mark 12:31- And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. ‘There is no other commandment greater than these.” The greatest commandment of our Christian religion demands of us to be considerate of others. My fellow brothers and sister, let us be Christians not just in name but also in practice. To love your neighbor as yourself means we should love the Muslims and the pagans as we will love our fellow Christians and even more so we should love them as much as we love ourselves. That is to say we should wish for them those things that we wish for ourselves. |
A final student of Federal Polytechnic, Oko in Anambra State, southeast Nigeria, did the unthinkable when she snubbed her groom on her wedding day and called off the wedding already arranged by the two families. The wedding was to take place on Saturday, 3 January, 2015 and guests invited to witness the ceremony at St Patrick Catholic Church, Umuchu in Aguata Local government, Anambra State, were shocked when Ifunanya Igwebuike refused to show up to tie the knot with Ekene Uzoigwe. After several hours of waiting, she later sent a message to the Parish Priest, Rev. Father Lawrence Maduagwu, that she was no longer interested and asked him to cancel the wedding. Ifunanya alleged that she could not go ahead with the marriage because she was a graduate unlike Uzoigwe whom she claimed was a school drop-out. Rev. Maduagwu had no option than to inform the groom and the guests that were already seated at the church hall that the wedding had been cancelled. This caused an uproar in the church as guests who expressed shock over what happened started trooping out of the church. Narrating what happened, Uzoigwe said he proposed to Ifunanya for marriage and she agreed on condition that he would send her to school, which he agreed. He said after she gained admission, he was financing her education and they agreed to wed during her final year. He said he had paid her bride price and she was part of the whole wedding plan and he even gave her parents N160,000 to prepare for the wedding, besides other arrangements and expenses incurred on the wedding and reception. Uzoigwe said she did not inform him about her decision to back out of the wedding until he got to the church only for the priest to inform him and the guests about the cancellation of the wedding. “If she had informed me, I would not have made arrangements. We had already cooked food and bought drinks for the wedding,” he said. He said when he contacted her parents, they said they would not force her and asked him to come and take back the money he gave them to prepare for the wedding. Uzoigwe said he was still shocked about what happened because he did not quarrel with Ifunanya before the fateful day. He said he also made sure she was comfortable by making money available to her while in school. Uzoigwe is a business man based in Abakiliki, the Ebonyi State capital. He met Ifunanya at their home town, Umuchu, where he proposed and sent her to school. |
Moderator kindly move this to front page. I don't understand why topics against GMB are more on Fp than the one that support him... It isn't fair oh |
This may be shocking or better said, surprising, to most, if not all of you who follow me on Facebook. I say this because I am an avid user of Facebook and you know how often I come here. You may have noticed that there is increased activity and restlessness on Social Networks, especially Facebook (Nigerians are not good on Twitter, it does not accommodate verbosity, hehehe). All that is happening because election is close and people need to let-off steam. So, we come to the playground or what my friend, IKWUAKO IFEANYI would call "Otobo." It is the only avenue left for the common middleclass and helpless students to feel that someone is listening to him or her. The mainline media does not interview common people on the streets. They go after politicians who will pay for the interviews or to popular men who they think have some voice. So, we take solace in Facebook. It is estimated that an average of 11 million Nigerians are on Facebook; out of which we have about 5.6 million active users (Not surprising as many have up to 2 or three dormant accounts). About 80% of these users are youths. It is more than the population of some countries, though when compared to the population of Nigeria it will seem like a drop in the ocean. These active users talk about many things: 99% of the ladies are occupied with posting the pictures of their latest dresses and events; 50% of the men talk Sports, 35% talk politics while the rest focus on sundry matters (the % allocation is mine). THE FACT! Facebook may have little or nothing to contribute to winning the 2015 Election. Yes! That is the bombshell. ANY REALISTIC PERSON KNOWS THAT THOSE WE PRAISE OR DISPARAGE, AND STRAIN OURSELVES FOR ON FACEBOOK (POLITICIANS) HAVE NO FACEBOOK ACCOUNT (forget those ones they claim to open at election times. It is their campaigners, who never go back to check the comments). Thus, by and large they cannot even read us. Incidentally, their foot soldiers and cronies too are not on Facebook or have not time for Facebook. So they have no one to tell them. Only few “big men” in Nigeria (including religious leaders) are on Facebook and they visit rarely. Most rural women, farmers, traders, artisans etc, who make up the voting mass are not on Facebook. THEY NEITHER UNDERSTAND NOR CARE ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE CRAZE CALLED FACEBOOK. Hence, on Facebook, we are left with a chunk of gentle middle class and young students. Most of the students just turned into the voting age and may not likely have a voting card. Can you now see the picture? Out of the “gentle middle class” about 1/3rd are not within the country. IN FACT, THE MOST VOCIFEROUS ONES (including yours truly heheheh) ARE OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND CANNOT VOTE. Many within the country are more like TALKING SHOPS THAT MIGHT DECIDE TO WATCH MAN U, ARSENAL OR CHELSEA PLAY THAN GO OUT TO VOTE. It is also the VALENTINE DAY. So, many others may decide to go to CHURCH VALENTINE GIGS or ADADA RIVER with their loved ones. So you see why we should not think that what we say here will win election for GEJ, GMB or the other 9 candidates? FACEBOOK CAMPAIGNS CANNOT WIN YOUR MAN ELECTIONS. THE PLATFORM IS NOT HERE. IT IS OUT THERE. IS IT ALL A WASTE OF TIME? NO, IT IS NOT!!! It is entertainment. It is sharing of knowledge and information. It is our gossiping channel. It is refinement of thoughts. It is our venting space and it is our Playground. It is, in any case, beneficiary to the posters and commentators because it has a psychological effect. I WON’T ALSO LOSE SIGHT THAT A FEW OF THE USERS MAY HAPPEN TO HAVE CONTACT WITH SOME “BIG MEN” AND CHIP TO THEM WHAT WE ARE SAYING FACEBOOK. Like many other things, it might end up with a sip of champagne and a casual “don’t mind them.” SO DO NOT KILL YOURSELF ABOUT WHAT WE SAY HERE ABOUT GEJ OR GMB, APC OR PDP etc. THEY ALSO KNOW WE ARE A LITTLE MASS. THE BATTLE IS OUT THERE. But meanwhile, enjoy yourself. That’s what I do on Facebook. |
lilbazy:Bro, how can a hungry man listen to the gospel, a man who is not sure whether he will survive the next will not listen to you...? People are no longer much concerned about where they go to when they are dead... They want a better life for themselves and their families here on earth. |
The truth remains that we cannot divorce religion from politics no matter how hard we try! That's why we always have either a Muslim as president and Christian as VP vice versa. The current situation of this country demands that even a dead Nigerians should be resurrected to talk about politics as far as it could be bring out the desired change. WE NEED CHANGE! #VOTEGMB TeamMbaka |
You’re a Christian yet there’s no employment!” – What Adeboye’s number 2 man said will make GEJ worry. Redeemed Christian Church of God has the highest number of members, compared to other churches and religious organizations in Nigeria, and when one of its pastors becomes vice-presidential candidate of the opposition, AllProgressives Congress (APC), and another top pastor drops sound bites, criticizing the present administration, President Goodluck Jonathan should be awfully concerned. In a recent sermon by Redeemed Pastor, J.T. Kalejaiye, he vehemently lamented the state of things, while calling for a change in the system. According to the pastor, who is touted as one of the possible candidates to take over from Pastor Adeboye, “things cannot continue this way”. Kalejaiye told his congregation to goand mark it, that “there would be a pleasant surprise in 2015 elections”. He said: “Of what use is my brother, my blood brother who is not going tomove the nation forward ? And you want me to vote for him because he is my brother? Don’t let us deceive ourselves.” Speaking further, he said: “We have to changeour system… Who is a Christian? Who is a Muslim? When I was working somewhere, my boss was a Muslim. I enjoyed under him. My boss provoked me to study further . My boss was always after my welfare. It shall be well him wherever he is today. He is a Muslim. The soldier attached to me was with me for almost 15 years. Inever knew he was a Muslim . The day he opened his mouth to say “Sir, I am Muslim,” I said “What? But you follow me to the camp. You do this, you do that.” He said that when it was timetot pray he would pray.” “Brethren, wake up! Who is a Christian? That somebody goes to church doesn’t make him a Christian. That somebody bears Christian name doesn’t make him a Christian. You are a Christian yet there is no employment for our youths. People who should be feeding their parents are stillbeing fed by theirparents. How many youths can get married today without the support of their parents financially? During our own time, we did our wedding, we onlycalled our parentsto come and eat.” “Today, our children who are 35, we are still feeding them. What are we saying? Let’s call a spade a spade, brethren. Things cannot continue thisway. Corruption is the order of the day. You can steal and nothing will follow. That’s all… Brethren, if you don’t do something, something will do you. Wakeup!” |

It is now official as girls are becoming more bold day by day as they now do the chasing. She went to her instagram handle this morning to wish him happy birthday and indirectly ask him to ask her out. That she has waited for it so long. If you were the guy in question what will you do? See pix below.... |

LMAyedun:Bro, that's exactly where I am now! I need an advice. |
I think mine is a little complicated than being friendzoned. There's this girl i love, i have shown her everything to prove it, but my problem is that she rarely reciprocate...I have been asking her out for 3months now, she keep telling me "no". The most puzzled of this all is that whenever she comes to my house....we will kiss, i suck her br**st and sometimes we even make love, but still after everything she will still tell me "no". Am getting tired... I need some advice. |
I voted online and i got this message " Prediction recieved, Viewers' Choice has now ended. Thank you for participating." Did i win? |
