AntiChristian: Jesus is the book olodo!
So who wrote Jesus if Jesus is a book? You're super confused yourself! Jesus is the message from Genesis to Revelation. All the books talk about Him and Him alone. This is Jesus' own words in the Gospel John.5.39 - Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

gohf: and how did you know they misinterpreted God? Wasn't it because there was correction and they accepted it.
Look there are mistakes a man of God may make, but not the Gehazi Balaam type and then refuse to repent of it.
Yes Peter spoke by the spirit and later spoke by the devil but he was rebuked for it, for what he said later to Jesus. But at this time was the spirit of God dwelling in him?
You said that God doing miracles through a man doesn't mean he can be scriptural sound? Give us an example of such men Then what is the purpose of the miracles if that is true
Not sure what you mean by scripturally sound but I take it, to mean to reveal the intent and heart of God concerning salvation for us. Peter refused to eat with Gentiles, would not preach to Gentiles until even after baptism of the Holy Spirit. His shadow Elijah believed he was the only one remaining serving God. Elijah brought fire down. Moses approved of divorce, Jesus distanced Himself from such Law. Moses struck the Rock (Jesus) in the wilderness. |

AishaDant: LOL! You can always get a second wife.
Outside the reasons you stated earlier, I wonder what other reasons you might have for wanting to marry a fulani girl. Beautiful kids? Tall, slim genes? I wonder! 🤔
To be honest, most fulani families would rather marry another fulani family. This is very common with us. However, some of the educated ones including my family of course, are comfortable marrying any other tribe or religion. n Of course, if I am educated, I wouldn't be here. I met Fulani girls Iin my NYSC days, serving in Taraba state for the first time. Those I met were very beautiful but not educated and as a young school leaver, I was not ready for marriage. I am a Christian and can't marry a second wife. All the same, I still admire the beauty of Fulani girls. I used to believe that all fulanis are Muslims until I met some in Nasarawa state that were Christians. God bless fulani people. |

gohf: How can the spirit in you which reveals to you the secrets of men and gives you power not be able to reveal the truth of the holy scriptures that pertains to the salvation of souls, if such spirit is from God. For understanding and knowledge of the word of God comes from the spirit of God.
Now we know even the devil quotes scripture and knows God's word even from the beginning but he twists it like he did while tempting Jesus.
I have been asked how is it possible for there to be different teachings of certain subjects within the church, is the spirit of God two, the many interpretations which contradict each other causes confusion? No man of God is a spirit or dwells in the spiritual permanently. Abraham misinterpreted God, Moses, Elijah, Peter. We are all are subject to errors. That God uses any pastor to wrought miracles does not mean he can be scripturally sound. They are two different things. That a pastor has the knowledge of the Bible, which always limited, does not mean he can do the miraculous either. |

Myprayercity: Mark 4:26-29 New International Version The Parable of the Growing Seed 26 He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. 28 All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. 29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.” Summary: patience is needed in our walk with God. Christianity Etc › Re: Does It Make Sense for Muslims to Call Jesus's Message Injeel = good News? by MightySparrow: 3:35pm On Nov 30, 2024 |
PROVERBZ: ---
After I was informed that Muslims referred to the teachings and message of Jesus as Injeel, which translates to "Good News" (the very same thing Christians call it), I became even more confused because the title seems mismatched. The theme of Jesus's message in Christianity is that he brought salvation for those previously condemned by the law. In this context, the title "Good News" makes sense. Where it does not make sense is in Islam, where it is mismatched. The title for his message in Islam is Injeel, and it also translates to "Good News." The dilemma here is that, in Islam, there is no reason for the message to be referred to as "Good News." It is obviously mismatched. Most of my Muslim friends here would argue that Jesus didn't teach anything new and that, in fact, he preached the same message as the previous prophets before him. This raises the question: Why is Jesus's message in Islam called "Good News" (the very same thing Christians call it)?
Normally, this would not have been a setback if not for the way the word came about in Christianity: the message of salvation by believing in Christ (something Islam preaches against).
I thought to myself, maybe it’s borrowed from the Christians at the time because Muslims wanted to relate to them but didn’t have a word for it aside from that. However, after researching, I found out that the word Injeel was stated in the Qur'an (the supposed direct word of Allah).
--- cc antichristian antiislam Islam is a confusion. They say it is the book God gave Jesus. Jesus never wrote any books nor received any books. He is the book to the whole world to read. |

Politics › Re: Should A Bigot Like Tinubu Restructure Nigeria? by MightySparrow: 12:28pm On Nov 30, 2024 |
The OP knows very little about Nigeria and its politics. Tribalism has ever been part of Nigerian politics. That what what killed Abiola, Ken Saro Wiwa. In the core north, it is more pronounced than every other place, among the same people, religion plays a vital role to job security, promotion, allocation of social amenities. I want to let this fellow know that SW nobody is complaining. Among igbos, people see members of APC as outcasts. The erstwhile members of Igbo people in APC decamped at the emergence of Peter Obi as the Labour Party presidential flag bearer.. Amaechi and Ngige that would have bridged the gaps went away. Votes did not come for Tinubu from the SE. The north wanted to deal with Tinubu the way of Abiola after he was used to enthrone Buhari, they changed the goal post the event that led to the popular emilokan. Besides, we at a critical stage of our national development. I don't really believe that anymore of this people, including Obi can deliver Nigeria. The nation has been taught wrong values by their generation. We are now more disunited than ever before. A fetus in the womb knows which tribe and religion it belongs to. No part of the nation is not tribalized: education, military, ministries and parastatals, everything. More force to contend with is Islamic incursion sponsored by the Middle East. While the south is shouting progress and equity, the north is sponsoring domination and suppression, the SE self determination, SS oil control. The Middle Belt is bewildered, no direction.
My brother, leave Tinubu alone, he belongs to the generation of prodigal fathers. |

The only solution to Nigeria's problem is disintegration. Let the north rule (ruin) themselves with their Quran. The SE rule themselves with commerce and technology, SS with oil and hooliganism, SW with education and liberalism.
With these northerners being with the rest, Nigeria's journey to greatness will be both rough and long and may be unachievable. |

In fact, they have turned the church to enemy - centred covens
There are much spiritual ignorance in the land that makes people labour much in prayers with little to show for it.
In our Lord's model prayer, he taught that one is held down by the the offences one is unwilling to forgive as the one God would not forgive him.
Anyway, we blacks have our own way of interpretation and want God to rubber stamp our actions. |
