suchmuch: this is absolutely wrong, the egba and ijebu people have been Christians since 1700s, the first bible was written in yoruba over 200 years ago. Yoruba are only muslim due to the influence of the north, core yoruba are traditionalists and NEVER islamist.
I am 100% sure you dont know shit about yoruba history. And probably never visited south west. More than 65% of the people in osun and ogun are have been Christians for generations. The ijesha, egba, and ijebus are some of the first to convert to christianity in this country .
According to statistics 44% of southwest is Christian, 40% Muslim and 16% traditionalists. In short, yoruba race have more traditionalists by percentage than any other tribe in Nigeria
Please get your fact right God bless u for this. I remember in d late 80s&early 90s, we hardly had 2 muslims in my classes of an average of 40 pupils |

richesbhc: 80% of Yoruba Population from Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Lagos and Kwara are Muslim. The remaining 20% either converted to Christian or their parents or grandparents converted to Christian or thier lineage could be traced to Ondo or Ekiti state. Haba!I wonder how/why so-called learned ppl confidently dish out wrong info on subjects they aren't even schooled in, as if some research's been carried out&proven to be true. |

Foolishbuhari: What if they are old stock? If smuggled, how did they get into the country?
Customs has no legal standing raiding people's means of livelihood if they didn't do their jobs at the borders.
If this is allowed, they'd soon break into people's homes to search for foreign rice SMH! Sir, not about soon now;it's been happening. I learnt dt during d festive period, these callous customs officers threw out boiling rice in a household somewhere in Ogun state. |

OgaBuhari: when once u endure then your body will adapt to it. We usually had lots of presentations and seminars as our assignment and my body adapted to it, my friend that always insisted he fills his tummy with food before attending classes finally met his waterloo as he was presenting and all of a sudden his bowels movement pressed him heavily and he immediately dropped everything and scampered away hurriedly looking for a nearby toilet. It's always embarrassing especially beans which was our everyday delicacy. Oh well, I get u sir bt I still think bodies differ. For me, it's hard to stay physically/mentally active on empty stomach;d result is tiredness&fever-like headache which has been found out to be caused by low blood sugar levels. Taking a light meal to avert a condition as mine &like u mentioned, emptying d bowel in the morning is a good idea. |
