these guys are ganging-up on iran.

they allow us and israel to use their airspace to attack iran
Iran has been bullying them, even upstaging Saudi Arabia as the foremost religious head in the Islamic community. It is the brain behind the Sunni vs Shiite tussle amongst Muslims

..Brought my first Oando share around 20 years ago....Still preaching Patient?
Oando of 20years ago was a downstream retail company and it paid good dividends until around 2011 or so. And it was selling at relatively higher prices than now.
But the currently upstream company has been facing some challenges. That is the context of my comment.

Like how many years from now?
That, I can not say for sure.
But if things go according to their plan, I can see Oando overcoming their debt challenges in about 3-5 years from now.
Just monitor the progress of the company.

How do you know?
And going private can happen to all the stocks on NGX, so it is not limited to one stock.

It is good you told the them truth. grin

OANDO is moving based on sentiment.

It is safer to buy Aradel at current price than buying OANDO.
If you are young, can wait for time and be patient, Oando will turn to ''money minting machine'' (mmm) in your portfolio.
But it will take time, a couple of years.

that aspect of the ACT did not change unless if there is a secret amendment that has not been gazetted.
It is now daylight forgery... not secret amendment.
Too sad the govt has added this to their credentials in spite of the numerous scandals

Is it that Iran doesn't know what they call Air Force, they are too confident with their missiles launchers
Iran does not have any serious air force or military intelligence.
They just believe only missiles and nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, Israel has developed very strong air-force, intelligence, missiles and even nuclear weapons. But they are destroying Iraq using only their air-force and top notch intelligence for now.
Iran cannot even fly planes in their own country because Israel has taken over their air space

Their aim is to destroy Iran to reduce the obstacles of achieving Greater Israel, nothing like Nuclear weapons.
We have seen Weapon of mass destruction accusation in Iraq before
You people can keep on with your lies.
Israel did not ask Iran to develop nuclear weapons to attack them.

The former President nko? 😂
But we criticized him for it, and he could not perform well because he lacked the courage to fire his family, friends and cronies from his region/ethnic group. That is the hallmark of nepotism....it breeds mediocrity, sycophancy, hero-worship, ''baba sope'' syndrome,
and ultimately failure.
The appointees would never be able to tell the president the truth when he is wrong because they would want to keep their jobs.

That is reason nepotistic govts fail all over the world. We saw it with Buhari and we also know this govt performance is unconvincing and shaky, unless we play politics and deceive ourselves.

It is wrong and bad for the SW because the govt itself is struggling and people are complaining bitterly about hardship in the country.
Knowledge, wisdom, education does not reside in the head of only one tribe or region.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE
President Tinubu nominates Oyedele as minister of state for finance
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated Mr Taiwo Oyedele as the minister of state for finance, replacing Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite.
Uzoka-Anite will now move to the Ministry of Budget and National Planning, as the Minister of State, her third portfolio in the administration.
President Tinubu has today conveyed the nomination of Oyedele to the Senate for confirmation in a letter to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
Until President Tinubu nominated him as a minister, Oyedele from Ikaram, Akoko, Ondo State, was the chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, which overhauled Nigeria’s tax system.
Oyedele, 50, is an economist, accountant and public policy expert.
He attended Yaba College of Technology, where he obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in accountancy and finance. He attended Oxford Brookes University and earned a BSc in applied accounting.
He also completed executive education programmes at the London School of Economics, Yale University, the Gordon Institute of Business Science, and the Harvard Kennedy School.
Oyedele spent 22 years of his working career at PwC, joining in 2001 and rising to become the Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader.
Oyedele is also a professor at Babcock University in Ogun State and a visiting scholar at the Lagos Business School.
Bayo Onanuga,
Special Adviser to the President,
I guess this is what Taiwo Oyedele was looking for, for him to be running his mouth up and down.

The FIRS Chairman Yoruba,
The CBN governor, Yoruba man

Both Minitser of Finance and Minister of State for Finance, both Yoruba?
Who is advising this president, and how does this president assess or think about these appointments?

The 165 primary school girls that were killed in a joint US-Israel attacks on Iran on February 28, are being buried en masse today. The school was targeted in the opening salvos of tomahawk cruise missiles fired by the U.S. Navy, resulting in the death of 165 schoolgirls and their teachers.

May the souls of the innocent kids rest in peace. This is unfortunate.

But the blood-thirst Ayatollah regime killed thousands of protesters only a few days ago! They are human beings too who were brutally killed for protesting in their own country

Iranian authorities were extremely careless with the life of their supreme leader. A day to that attack, it was all over the news with picture evidence that F35s & F22s raptors were already prowling that area. Everyone knew it was only a matter of hours at most days before US unleashed on them. Why weren't their top personnel moved to a secure location (bunker)?
They were having meeting inside a bunker but Israel used bunker-burster bombs to kill them.

I entered the NGX last year because of Aradel. God go continue to guide us. The Decade of Gas has not even started yet. There is an astonishing amount of value to extract from Aradel. Seplat would have been the obvious choice but I was put away by the price (4k at the time) and went for the second best.
If you can be so focused on gas and patient, then look out for Oando too.
They have one of the largest reserves of gas and crude oil, second only to Seplat.

This not to encourage any MH in Oando.

In 2024 OANDO rallied from. #9:00 to #98.00

In 2025 it consolidated between #35:00 & #70:00

This year (2026) watch it will break above that Stubborn #100 resistance.
