PoliticsRe: Aondoakaa Begs Akunyili, Says I Was Misquoted by mikeoscar: 1:41am On Feb 13, 2010
I don't know if it's me, oh but I sometimes wonder how this fellow made SAN plus later AGF. He is a very poor communicator (for a lawyer), Has very poor usage of English grammar and very insensitive to national issues. Once I was in Nigeria when He just got appointed and there was this issue of weather the President gave instruction for something or not.I think it was Soludo's currency re-denomination plan then. This Aondoakaa man came down  so hard on Soludo that the poor guy quickly backed off the project. Now during one of the interviews with him on TV I hadly could articulate what He was saying plus him saying things like "I asked Mr President if He gave His go ahead for currency re-denomination and the President denied". I thought hard about His un-intelligent answers to questions by the press and concluded there and then that this guy must have a lots of godfather support to be this lucky to get the AGF job in a country with many sound and credible lawyers.

I don't think its over for Arsenal.

Not totally convinced by either Chelsea or United.
I suspect both will be dropping points intermittently
the rest of the season.

Arsenal need to put this spell behind them and go
on some run and they should be back in it
Wake-up dude, it's not about the other 2 big teams, it's all about your style of play. Dribble around the mid-field with no intention to score. Then ofcourse your defence line has been very scappy, No real Midfield leader like general Patrick Viera in His Arsenal days. Chelsea and MANU are wayyyys ahead in all dept of play this season IMHO. Yes, they may stumble but that doesn't mean Arsenal will have a walk in the Park with the rest of your games.

"Ten games unbeaten to get yourselves right back into the title race and then you don't even turn up for the two biggest games of the season. It's unfathomable".
, and guess what, in those 1o games, Arsenal fans didn't let anybody rest with all their braggings cheesy

BTW that woodwork is still resonating from DD's shot.

From Normal_Norman on 606: "Bendtner to set up two and grab the winner. I'm keeping the faith, unlike most Arsenal 'fans'."
Hehehe, see what a gooner fan is saying on BBC Sport grin grin grin

TRULY DROGBA get GUNNERS NUMBER!
Such a shame Wenger didn't get him.
Wenger will have to eat the humble pie to try to get DD because after Arsenal once got spanked 3-0 by Chelsea, the man said there was nothing special about Drogba and that "He doesn't do much". The question now is what will Wenger do if Drogba was to up his game just a notch by Le Prof standard undecided

Anyway Up blueeeeeeessssssss!!!!!!
SportsRe: Give Three Reasons Why Amodu Should Remain Or Be Sacked by mikeoscar: 9:32pm On Feb 05, 2010
After Mali 2002, it was the same everybody was shouting, sack Amodu sack Amodu, we did, and took Onigbinde. Its deja vu again, ok now sack him and hire anyone, i am sure when we are having problems qualifying for 2014, we would hire him again, nothing change. Its simple:-

1. Fire him, he sits, chews goro and does shout during matches
2. Fire him, he is a local coach.
3. Fire him, then hire a foreign NFF Chairman and a Foreign President.
Is this a joke or what, anyway, I got a call from my folks in Naija this afternoon that there's been a long and nervous wait for NFF to conclude their close door meeting on the faith of Amodu and it is looking likely that the dude  might stay as SE Coach in some capacity.

So buddy, you may have to wait  long to see him get fired grin grin

Question:
why re dis algerian playin reluctantly as if nothing is at stake?
Ans: Because they are a red card depleted team and do not want any further cards in this match grin

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Algeria Nations Cup [1 -0] by mikeoscar: 6:14pm On Jan 30, 2010
Is possible that Kanu may have won us most of the matchs we lost or struggled with? It was His pass that created that goal!
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Algeria Nations Cup [1 -0] by mikeoscar: 5:58pm On Jan 30, 2010
Egypt actually whitewashed Algeria 4 goals to nothing!
Guy, it's either you didn't watch the match or you didn't read about all the talking points in that match. The match started well with both teams playing good football, but a dubious yellow card to an Algerian player and a second that resulted in a controversial penalty brought out the Algerian frustration and the old feud between both countries. From then on it was nothing other than a rugby or a football game for the Algerians, bottom line it was not a fair game IMHO.

Nja still holding possesion  - but it look like the Zambia are waiting for opportunity to launch a counter attack
That has been the trend in this competition. Some guys keep the ball and when they lose it once the opposition scores,

Kaita and Odenwingie are selling yellows to the Zams like mad grin

Many years back in my teens my Dad used to tell us "When you are waist deep in a hole you don't dig-in". "Dig-in" in hell's hole is exactly what Mr Obasanjo is doing right now.

Telling at this time after over 60 days of His boy's absence from state assignment only shows He is just BEGINING to feel the heat. I'd rather He just stays quiet. Amen.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Zambia: Super Eagles Win On Penalties (Nations Cup) by mikeoscar: 12:40am On Jan 23, 2010
I t will be a tough match but we will scale through if we take most of  our chances and defend our leads within minutes of scoring because the Zams are quite mobile.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Zambia: Super Eagles Win On Penalties (Nations Cup) by mikeoscar: 4:28pm On Jan 22, 2010
You are also forgeting the Maroc 88 final when Henry Nwosu's legitimate goal was ruled off-side while Cameroun won with a dodgy penalty.
Yes, that one too, thanks.  I really wish we would work on our fitness, tactics and psychology to be able to break the jinx even against Egypt or our incessant struggles against the North African teams.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Zambia: Super Eagles Win On Penalties (Nations Cup) by mikeoscar: 4:03pm On Jan 22, 2010
Nigerians. you guys claim to be the giant of Africa and yet you always want the easy way out.if we claim to be good, lets meet cameroun now and prove ourselves.for how long will we continue to hide?
Emm, I am not so good with parables but they say "a toad does not run in the day time for nothing".
Among several other reasons like their records of painful wins over our best super Eagles teams through the years, here are a couple of other reasons:

1. We currently do not have a team that will be able to challenge this current Camerounian team even as weak as it is right now plus this current team don't look like they want any wahala.

2. My other reason(the main one) is that some Nigerians think that When it comes to Cameroun Nigeria, Issa Hyatou(?) has a huge influence over CAF or at least His dread seems to overshadow them.

I will never forget a particular AFCON match in Abuja when I was still in Naija where Victor Ikpeba scored a powerful goal during the penalty shoot-out and though the ball clearly crossed the line the goal was dissallowed and Cameroun went on to win the match. Issa Hyatou who was sitting in the stands with sterned face all through the match didn't smile until that moment when the refree ruled otherwise.

I symphatise with you about your job, God will come through for you, dont loose hope,be encouraged something better might be in the pipeline for you. In every profession there are chalattans, so also we have in the ministry. Iam not surprised that we have people on the pulpit who put pressure on people to give and manipulate them. The word of God says by their fruit we will know them. Go to churches where the emphasies is on lifestyle rather than greed. Also be commited to being a student of God's word. Develop your relationship with God personally and you will be able to discern when you find yourself under greedy people who think that Godliness is Gain. There are still many genuine pastors who are teaching and preaching the undiluted word of God, may God direct you there.
Perfect Word of encouragement!!!, devine wisdom don't come any better than this.

@Poster,

Don't bother trading words with Abu Zola. He is Ishmaelite and this is Kind of Headline He enjoys([s]or why do you think He was first to respond with that evil laughter[/s]). Did you Hear him say anything reasonable about our recent quaqmire back home or the Abdul "Malu" Mutallab underpants terrorism here in the U.S?
