My take on subject is:
If you blame a man for serving Poison to His folks consistently, You should also look into the patronage. It's more of the People getting what's served (even though they don't deserve it) and not questionong it. If they don't buy or promote it won't sell. My humble opinion.

Unfortunately, there are many of such here. I'm proud of the guy who quickly apologised. I think He is one of the very few civilised ones. See thread na , and Peeps just typing as if they are so sure they can wake-up in the Morning if NOT FOR GOD who has spared us all.

If u are sick u go 2 d docs, Yaradua needs restoration of his health and he believes dat only God can heal him dats y he is meeting with spiritual leaders dat can join him in prayers and pray for him, when he is fully recovered he can then go abt meetin political leaders to assess d level of damage his health has cost him politically and how he can regain lost ground. What wld b d purpose of politicians nd his colleagues coming 2 c him now, some will even go 2 c him 2 start askin favors nd puttin unnecesary presure on him, he believes dat Jonathan has evrythin unda control so no need 2 rush back 2 ofc.
My president pls just take your time nd recover wen u are well enuf your seat wld be waitin and if u are not able to come back it must have been d will of God and who are we 2 question his will
Are you just being poorly sarcastic or you don't just understand the issue on ground.

O.K. ,  JONATHAN HAS NOT SET EYES ON MR YARADUA since He got smuggled in, Got that!

PoliticsRe: (Hoax) Fake 'Shell' Finally Gives Apology To People Of Niger Delta by mikeoscar: 8:37am On Mar 30, 2010
What is clear to me with the video is that Shell has  created a lot of enemies across the nations particularly because of their policies and the manner in which the company has conducted its activities in the Nigerdelta area.

I think The fellow called Beaf was right about this whole apology being a Hoax(at least He had proof). I have checked the name Bradford Houpe and there is no such name in Shell. There are however about  22 people with Bradford related names in Shell and this fellow's name does not turn-up in any form.

Moreso, this is very Mischievious indeed and a mockery of the efforts on ground to make amends for all the ills that have gone on in that region for about 50 yrs. Shell like somebody said earlier, is a more organised Company than what is represented here. Looking at the video itself , The setting for such Press briefing gives the intent away too easily(Forget about the Shell logo etc) the ID card the guy was wearing was a complete joke. And not to talk about the grin on some of the Audience's face, come on!

The only correct information here is the Mention of Peter Voser the new Shell CEO.

This is going to be a tough call for me considering that I predicted 3-1 against Blackburn and we we forced to a needless draw. My concern for the rest of the Season really is the spate of injuries to our key players. By the way, I didn't see a thread or alot of celebration over Portsmouth spanking. We will say the reason's are obvious, but  drowning men can pull you down with them if you don't approach them with Caution. I think that match has restored some confidence in no small measure. I'd like to see Cech back in goal, err, so long as He stays alert for 93mins+  throughout the encounter with Villa.

Drogs, Lamps and Malouda to give us a goal each, [s]may be Alhaji Anelka too if He is not taking too many touches on the ball.[/s]

I hope we can hold-on in this 2nd half and not conceed an early equalizer. Our bench has so depleted with all this injuries this season. God help us see this one through today at least with two more goals from Drog and Malouda.

Sorry guys my initial post have been overtaken by several intersting events. I 'm really very proud of all those on the forum who have responded very expediciously with pledges and have actually given. My the Lord God Almighty bless you all and keep every plague far from you and yours.

I just spoke with Mr Dominic (Josh's uncle ) in Nigeria through the cell numbers and He confirmed He has received some donation from diaspora and Nigeria. When I asked him about the account numbers so I can ask my sibling to make my donations He said one of the account number posted here was not correct. My youngest brother will call him later so he can text the correct account number and when that happens I will get the number posted here.

Are there any Medical Doctors on this forum (Christ, there should be some) who reside in Nigeria to help us investigate the matter and assess the situation by helping us get a responsible and accountable family member who will give us bank account, phone # and a pledge to use the money for the surgery.

Our NL doctors will also stay in touch with family and brief us of the lads medical progress etc, let's see if we can see this to the end. BTW let's not wait for any Nigerian politician to do anything, they are busy spending their loots in preparation of 2011.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Blackburn Rovers Vs Chelsea [1 - 1] On Sunday 22nd March by mikeoscar: 1:23pm On Mar 20, 2010
The absence of Ashley Cole, M.Essien and Bosingwa is really limiting our play. Plus we probably should not have sold Gudicini.

Against Inter for example , Carlotti, pulled  our make shift midfielders back  just to cover for the young and relatively inexperience Ross Thurnbull.
Consequently, we did not have a productive midfield to hold and supply passes to DD as often and no wings to distract Maurinho's defence line when He "parked the bus". I guess also Jose's last minute selection confused Carlotti a bit

And oh, Alhaji Anelka did not rise to the occasion (as usual) when it mattered most.

Tomorrow, we should be able break blackburn fighting spirit and win the encounter. It's Chelsea 3- BBR 1 .

Common blues!!

Dude, this is not about Rev. Chris Okotie, if you want to start a thread on the Rev Gentleman, do so else where but this is definitely NOT about him. The subject here is Hon Patrick Obahigbon, no long thing!
PoliticsRe: Why I Speak Big Grammar - Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon by mikeoscar: 11:04pm On Mar 13, 2010
With Grammar Envy infusing, infesting, intoxicating but yet invigorating my entire physiology right down to the cellular, infinitesimal and microscopic levels ad-nausuem, ad-infinitum, I am left with no other practicable recourse than to OPENLY challenge the Grammar Master Himself, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon, to gentleman's duel of linguistic and tautological pyrotechnics, subsequent to which my team of legal luminaries and litigation consultants will strive to conclusively, authoritatively and incontrovertibly establish the locus-standii, modus operandi and nihil carborendum illegitimi that will empower me to rightfully and righteously assume the mantle of Nigertia's Grammar In Chief, a position which naturally supercedes and subsumes all faux-accolades, pseudo-qualifications and quasi-certificates previously showered on the honorable gentleman like so many winter snow flurries in Northern Denmark.

Disgruntled or unpatriotic elements inexplicably tempted to scoff, malign or direct ridicule and approbation at the essential premise of the above paragraph must be advised that while gratuitously verbose diction, prose and oratory have traditionally been regarded as being statistically indicative of innate and often subnconscious predispositions to grandiosity, conceit, bombast, and psychologically manipulative tendencies, that contervailing presupposition is ALSO fundamentally flawed from both statistical and enthnographical standpoints, simply by virtue of the largely argumentative constructs inherent and resultant from the subject matters continual and inexorable metamorphosis away from consideration as an imprecise, ambiguous and esoteric academic subject to be discussed by muttering tweed-clad professors in the dusty alcoves of academia, and towards being evaluated within the rigid constraints and harsh illumination of scientifically exhaustive, meticulously analytical regimes, as specified and delineated in conformance with the rigorously explicative approach currently favored by the scientific community.

Your logic is wretched. Do two wrongs make a right? If people are insane, is the proper thing to you to join them? What does that make you?
I didn't call you names because I felt like. Its the impression you are creating of yourself. With due respect, you sound quite mad.

The truth is you are the one abusing Biafran kids right now, because this has nothing to do with it. Nobody sees it that way, except damaged people.

The South have ruled for EIGHT years let the North rule for eight years too even if the agreement is a gentleman's agreement, how soon does my Southern brothers forget? Besides what has Obasanjo's 8 years change my life for? What is Yar A'Dua's 4 or 8 years going to add to or take from my life? Think of what you can do for your life and not North or South regional and tribalistic sentiments. Even if Nigeria divide today all of us are going to find a way of surviving. Or are you guys telling me that we cannot survive without Nigeria? Ukraine, Georgia, Lithuania and Russia are marching on without that conglomerate once called U.S.S.R. Let us watch and see what happened with the Maradonaic appearance of Yar A'Dua this early hours of today.
Kai Malam!! you get liver o, apparently you are new on this forum. Since you can't recall your post anymore, I leave you in the hands of your (Tor)mentors, let the show begin!

The mistake was to have kept some of his men around and redeploying instead of firing them.
Firing Aondokaa(??) IMHO would have tantamounted to making Goodluck look like He was on a vendetta trip and such will have drawn a lot of sympathy from the Northern Supporters who thought the former AGF was acting in staunch support of the President.

agreed. GoodLuck was not in charge, otherwise, he would have refused landing for the plane and tell them to re-direct the flight to Ghana or wherever.
How and why would He do a thing like that when this is not a military take-over or some cave man constituency. He is still a politician remember?

As long as Yaradua is phyiscally present and can SPEAK, the game is up for Mr GoodLuck.

This gambit of GoodLuck to continue till Yaradua recovers is a refuse.

GoodLuck should expect a deadly blow soon.
True that!

You dont bite your Boss on the back and expect no reaction!
How exactly did He do this. Did He in anyway canvass to be Acting President or in any try to Orchestrate Mr President Impeachment. If you have followed most of the thread on NL until He locked-out some Ministers for coming late for meetings and when He re-deployed Aondokaa everybody said He was dulling fellow, slow poke and a this and that. Some friend of mine in Nigeria even told me that Mr Jonathan refused for any group of persons to make any advertorials in the media congratulating him about His new assignment because , it's uncalled for since His Boss was ill and situation demanded we pray for His helath rather than throw parties etc. I thought that was a very good move! So I don't see how somebody will interprete that to be him "biting his boss"

Quote
As far as Jonathan does not receive any direct instructions from Yar'adua, he remains 100% in charge.

which planet are you? Yaradua is EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT. He has ALL SAY in everything!

Yaradua is not oblige to talk/instruct to GoodLuck!

He can have his cabinet meetings by his 'sick bed side in Aso Rock'
BTW, are you saying it is possible for Yar'adua to return Michael Aondokaa to His former post as AGF?
