So, of all the topic you can think of, it's people's prayer request you want to make mockery at?

You are supposed to attend the House of God with a heart of worship, but no. You are there to listen to other's request, and circulate it on social media.

Tesla Powerpack 2.26 MWh installed in Abuja

The solar plant, which will generate 2.45 GWh of energy per year, and 2.26MWh Tesla Powerpacks have been installed in Abuja, Nigeria to cut expenditure and reduce the Federal Ministry's energy dependence on fossil energy sources and reduce CO2 emission by 2,600 tons.

A solar station using Tesla Powerpack energy storage was installed in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria. EM-ONE Energy Solutions has signed a contract with the Federal Ministry of Energy and Housing of Nigeria to design and install a 1.52 MW solar power plant with a 2.26 MWh battery capacity in 2019. The solar plant has been installed on carports and rooftop sheds and will generate 2.45 GWh of energy per year. The solution is fully integrated and scalable, so capacity can grow over time as demand grows.

EM-ONE also completed the electrical upgrades of four office buildings at the headquarters of the Department of Energy, Works and Housing to improve energy efficiency. During the modernization, old electrical appliances and connections were replaced with energy-efficient ones, which will reduce the energy consumption of the complex by 40%.

The Enhanced Microgrid and Energy Storage System (ESS) for this project was provided by Tesla and the energy efficiency components were provided by Schneider Electric. This project was the first of the office complexes of the federal government of Nigeria to use renewable energy as the main source of energy. The system will now save thousands of dollars annually on a cleaner, more reliable power supply. The project is part of the federal government's commitment to renewable energy and mini-grid policies.

10 Powerful Ways To Maintain Conviction In A Losing Trade:

In a perfect Wall Street world, every trade would be a winner right from day one right up until the day you sell.

Any real-world trader knows trades and investments don’t always go according to plan, especially in the short-term.

It can be extremely difficult to see red in your trading account day after day and stick to your guns on a trade. Here are 10 tips on how to maintain conviction in your trading and investment ideas.

Have a clear thesis: Before you buy a stock, you need to have a clear fundamental and/or technical reason for buying. If you don’t have a clearly defined reason to buy a stock in the first place, you don’t have a good reason to hold onto it when the trade goes against you.

Remember why you bought: Sometimes, a thesis doesn’t play out the way you thought it would. When a trade goes south, consider whether your original thesis still holds up. If it does, it can serve as a reminder to stick to your guns.

Have a defined trading strategy: Identifying a stock you want to buy is just step one in the process. Before you take a position, know what you will do if the stock goes up, what you will do if it goes down and what you will do if it goes sideways. There are plenty of different strategies that work, but having a clear strategy provides comfort on red days.

Keep emotions out of it: Listening to your emotions probably never got you a better grade on a math test in school and it won’t get you back in the black on a down day for your portfolio. The best traders know to always keep a clear head and make calculated, rational decisions.

Have an exit strategy: Whether it be a target price, a trailing stop-loss, a technical signal or any other indicator, it’s always a good idea to know when to cash in or throw in the towel on a trade. Having an exit strategy and sticking to it can prevent you from panic-selling a good trade or taking a bigger loss on a loser than you anticipated.

Have an appropriate position size: If you’ve bet more on a stock that you are comfortable losing, the fear of loss may be too much to overcome, and it may pressure you to abandon a good idea before it plays out fully.

Stay informed: Depending on your strategy, watch the charts, monitor the headlines and make sure you are tracking what’s going on with your stock. Knowing you are well-informed on everything that’s going on with a stock can help you maintain your conviction in a particular thesis.

Be patient: The best traders often beat the rest of the market to the punch, which means it could take more time than anticipated for a trade to play out. The Nasdaq hit 3,000 in November 1999, about 14 years before it should have. Yet anyone who shorted the index at that point in the infamous dot-com bubble had to wait another year before that trade turned a profit.

Learn from your mistakes: When a trade doesn’t work out, do a post-mortem to understand what didn’t work and why. The more you understand the mistakes of the past, the more conviction you will have in your future trades.

Don’t let others get in your head: While it’s always smart to consider outside advice, don’t let someone else talk you out of a trade you believe in just because you’re in the red.
The investing world and social media are full of people who have 20-20 hindsight when it comes to investing. If you listen to them too much, it can make you feel like every single trade should be a winner and every day should bring a profit.

Well, it may have to do with your financial institution, I remembered the first time I tried it with GTBBANK Mastercard, it kept saying card number incorrect. When I used Zenith Mastercard, it accepted without error.

My advice, if you have other Cards, try using it.

You can also contact GPay support for more info @ https://support.google.com/pay/?hl=en#topic=7625138

Send money to friends or family

Note: This feature is only available in the US. For the US territories, this is supported only if the debit card was issued under a US-licensed bank. If you'd like to know in advance whether your payment to or from a US territory will go through, please check with your card issuing bank.

You can use Google Pay to send money to friends and family or to someone using their email address or phone number. Google Pay charges no fees.

When you're withdrawing your fund, you will see options of all the cards link to your Gpay in Trading212. You just go ahead and choose one. It's that simple bro.

NoTimeZone:
Assuming I have multiple cards linked to my Gpay and I initiate a withdrawal, how will Trading212 deposit my funds?
Investment / Re: Us Stocks Pick Alert by millennium2012: 4:53pm On Jul 03, 2020
My brother, the last time I checked am still in Nigeria lol.

I guess you're trying to use the platform via mobile phone. You won't get Gpay Option through smartphone. Kindly use Laptop or desktop.
It will work.

NoTimeZone:
There's no Google pay funding option for Nigerians on Trading 212.
Were you able to use Google pay on yours?

Yes, it is the same mode of payment you can use for withdrawal. Remember your Credit/debit card is linked to your Gpay. It simply means once you withdraw with Gpay, it automatically enter into your bank account (Gpay account).

Unlike Skrill, Gpay is just a payment gateway, you cannot deposit money in it.

civilserva:

Thanks but I want to ask if you can withdraw into Gpay as most organizations will want you to use the same method of deposit for redemption.

Yesterday was a nice day for TSLA and SOLO holders.

in fact I exited to early from SOLO with just 36% 3 days before yesterday major move. All the same, it wasn't all that bad after all. Hoping to re-enter again after a pullback.

Greetings my people,

For those of you having problem funding your Trading212, the following should be done without going through Dom account opening:

Kindly link any of your credit/debit card to Google pay (pay.google.com) via your gmail account. It's that simple.

After that login to your Trading212 account, click on deposit.

Select "Change method of payment" (since credit/debit card is default).

Choose Gpay

Add the same gmail linked to gpay.

Add amount in dollar.

Submit.

Your Trading212 account will be credited automatically without hassle.

NB: Google will charge you for each transaction.

Don't even bother funding with direct credit/debit card in Trading212 because it's not allowed for Nigerians.

I hope that helped.

You nailed it bro. Well appreciated

seyisanya:
To start with, most of the stocks in my portfolio are for a long term holding period regardless of daily price movements in the market. I bought most in March and they are way in the green zone, three actually did 100%+ but sold two while I still hang on to CCL!

If you have a mid/long term horizon, I would say buy GROUPON(GRPN). Though I'm already up 50%, there is still a lot of upsides. Why? Strong balance sheet! $750 million in cash against $370 million non-current liabilities!! There are only a few penny stocks out there with such figures.

If you feel US schools might not resume face-to-face teaching anytime soon, then you might want to look at Zovio Inc (ZVO). I don't own this yet, I'm studying the price movement closely. My reason? Wonderful balance sheet. 93% of the market value backed by cash! That's what I'm talking about, baby!! cheesy

Finally, if you believe 5G will change the way data is produced, used and stored in the nearest future, then you might want to consider Quantum Corporation (QMCO). I don't own this at the moment but watching on Plasma TV grin

NB: No matter how great a business is, your entry price is very essential. Don't F.O.M.O(Fear Of Missing Out)! Build your cash chest and strike when the opportunity presents itself. Additionally, make sure the cash is available in your trading account while you wait for the time to take action.

I just got this alert:

"Senate may vote on bill that could delist Chinese companies from U.S. stock exchanges".

Some Chinese coys in NYSE are already reacting to this news.

I had to quickly close my position on BABA
Earlier today it was 2% up but currently -1.5%

This is BIDU it was 2.5% up today but currently shedding -2.8%.

Caveat: DD applies please.
Investment / Re: Us Stocks Pick Alert by millennium2012: 3:41am On May 20, 2020
You're on point bro.
Thanks

OakPearl:

With a mid -long term investment horizon, BABA is a sure bet even at today's price.
All that is required u patience to sit out the up and down waves of the moment.
Investment / Re: Us Stocks Pick Alert by millennium2012: 3:44pm On May 19, 2020
Yeah, you may be right about that. Am actually trying to play it medium to long term.

Thanks for the advice though.

OakPearl:

BABA may not come out with a block buster result if feelers I am getting is anything to go by.
But if you can board at anything under $200, that would be fantastic entry.

Am also eyeing BABA.

55% (Buy)
0% (Hold and Sell) Recommendations from Analysts

More green to us all.

You're quite right about them.

You won't believe that I funded my naira a/c again yesterday evening, and the whole process was finished today that I was able to trade global stock by 3pm. I was really glad about their responsiveness.

All the order was executed instantly (mkt order).

Am also trying to see if I can open another account in TD God willing it will be successful.

Hottdawgg:

I have been with Chaka for a while, I think you are going to enjoy them. I don't know if it's just me or whether it's a privilege all of their clients enjoy but I noticed that for sometime now my trades have been in real time. Well I push a button and in 10 seconds my order is filled!! And my portfolio and other details are updated. I have maintained a busy account since Feb and its like a dream.

Recently I considered funding a new portfolio with one of the competition. My people say dem not from one place dey look masquerade. I placed an order around 8pm for a stock on NYSE and I am told I have to wait till the following day for execution. I am like WTF. Of course I wasn't happy about this. I vacillated a while but a few days later I took my money and left. The whole experiment cost me 50k in forex charges and left a sour taste in my mouth.

It made me value Chaka the more.

Currently the triad of Chaka and the others take 1% for buying and 1% for selling (I may be wrong). That's a lot. They might end up losing high networth clients to foreign brokers unless they make adjustments. They see us as high risk but I am beginning to see an increased level of confidence in the Nigerian investor among direct foreign players.
Investment / Re: Us Stocks Pick Alert by millennium2012: 1:28pm On May 18, 2020
Thanks my Chairman.

You're not far from the truth on the bolded. But they actually slashed it to $5/withdrawal since the inception of COVID-19.
In any case, one should stay where he can maximize profit. That is what actually count.

The Market outlook is really looking very exciting today due to the +ve news from Moderna. MRNA has gained +37% at the premarket. I congratulate those already in the bus.

More green to us all.

YerYer:

Welcome back bro, we all have lives to live outside the internet; sometimes it's a juggling act.
I tried looking up etoro fees but it looks like they have a spread fee for non-europeans, but if you are trading $2000 or more, the fees are little to none. But what I don't like is the fact that they charge $25 withdrawal fee and a $10/month inactivity fee. If I want to withdraw my own money I still have to pay a fee? Then if my account is inactive, they will still charge $10/month for that.
I guess one has to consider the total costs and if they still come out ahead, then that's fine.

I officially opened a new local account with Chaka. So fa, I think it's quite better than my previous experience. At least I save $.50 for every trade I execute.

Am currently seating on small profit (+13.28%) from my first trade (Liveperson, LPSN). It's a provider of mobile and online business messaging technologies that power digital communications between brands and consumers.

The only downside I noticed from chaka is that there's no virtual account to paper trade.
Investment / Re: Us Stocks Pick Alert by millennium2012: 10:05pm On May 16, 2020
Etoro is ok if you're an experienced trader. Just that you can't afford to do try and error on Etoro, you will lose your stakes because of High Leverage. But experienced traders make faster returns on it than some other platform.

One other thing is that you can't find enough penny stocks on Etoro.

But the good news is that you can social trade (I.e. Copy trade professionals). If the pros are basking on profit, you can simply copy them and make same profit proportional to your capital.

You can copy trade with as little as $200 dollars.

Caveat: do your own research before making your final decision.

Sorry guys I've been very busy with so many stuff that I've not been commenting. I really appreciate the effort of my ogas here @OakPearl, Yeryer and so many other great minds.

Wishing us many green in the weeks ahead.
