Hello Milo9,

I don't know if I am right. I thought you said your gcms notes arrived. If this is correct, in the notes where the eligibility is entered, the VO wouldn't enter such long sentence.

My response was not based on your GcKey online portal but your Gcms notes. Please clarify and I apologize if I missed out.

All the best
No boss, my gcms note is yet to arrive. I only noticed that my upfront medical exam was updated to PASSED and I assume my application is still running. So I’m trying to know if my assumption was right or wrong.

Good morning everyone, I’ve ordered for my GCMS but just found out my upfront medical exam has been update to passed while eligibility and background check is still running. Applied since July and there’s been no other update. Looks like my application is still running. Am I right?

What do you mean by 80% of tuition paid?

Did you pay for 1 term/semester or you almost paid everything and the remaining balance is maybe about 2k left?

Is this your first application?

I will be frank with you, Your account statement is a gamble

What's Your first degree/programme and intending degree in Canada?

I don't want to go too deep in this, there are about 5 different cases in study permit application (case 85, case 30, case 31 case 70...) it's good to order for GCMS notes whenever your application is taking longer than expected or it's being paused somewhere, it enables you to know what they are expecting from you prior in your application. they won't notify you until your visa has been refused, very very few VOs ask for it. Some application gets up to 7 VOs some 2 some 10, some even 1
(that's where God comes in).

I don't know if you're going for college degree (PGD/PGC, etc, ) but I personally don't advise people with bachelor degrees in Nigeria to submit professional certificates it complicates college application.

If your application is not too long, as I said earlier, it could be your stream on background checks is pretty slow. It will get to your turn, this is not common but just chill and relax, but if your application has been long maybe 2 months. Order your GCMS notes to know what exactly they are expecting from you.
- 11kCAD out of 13kCAD first year fee paid.
- it’s my first application.
- I studied accounting and got admission for global business management PGD
- I applied just 3 weeks ago.
Thank u so much for your time.

It depends on your stream to R10 and criminality checks. it will get to your turn. If I may ask, did you submit PCC? It may not be mandatory, but did you submit it?

R10 they check your documents for completion etc. and determine that everything is in order and you have provided all the needed documents correctly. If you pass this stage it means, your documents were complete and as per requirements.

PCC police clearance certificate

Can you post your application documents, lemme check something.
Yes I submitted PCC.
App docs:
Undergraduate cert & transcripts, 80% tuition paid receipt, professional certificate and awards, S.O.P, C.V, PCC, other means of identification, family members means of identification, o’level, LOA, landed property receipts with the deed, farmland receipt with pictures (CAC registration ongoing), personal SOA (with balance of 4m, inflow/outflow of 36m), parent’s house CofO, letter & affidavit of support, sponsor’s SOA with balance of 2m but inflow/outflow 480m.

Good evening house,
I’m about to submit my application but I have an issue;
I have paid 13k of my 17k first year’s tuition, i have money that will cover the balance + the 10k living expenses in my SOA but my sponsor has 1.1m available balance which is not enough to fund my 2nd year but an inflow of almost 500m in his SOA. Is this going to be an issue?

Good evening guys, i'm applying for admission at conestoga college, there's a part where i have to upload previously attended institution's transcript but my institution insisted they have to send the transcript to the organizations that requests for it themselves as the law forbids giving it to individuals. how do i go through this?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by milo9(m): 5:55am On Jan 11, 2020
Boss, PGD/C with co-op is better than ordinary PGD/C? I want to be sure cos i'm starting my application for admission, soon.
JustMellow:

Hello Missnigeria,

Since you have been patient all this while by waiting for 5yrs, you might be able to migrate with your family through the EE route. This can be achieved if you can wait for some extra years to pursue a PGD and a Masters program here in Nigeria. You can go for courses with 1yr duration respectively. Well, since you have made up your mind, this might not be an option for you.

You can as well consider migrating through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program. You can check IRCC website to see if you are eligible.

You can also decide to apply for a work permit if there is a willing employer to offer you a full time job and can secure an approved Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). This process can be expensive and time intensive for the employer to be able to secure LMIA, which could take up to 6 months plus. There won't be any employer willing to go through this stressful path except maybe there is a relationship. In all, there is no assurance that the LMIA would be approved.

This brings us to the study route which is the most surest route for you out of the above options suggested. With your HND, you can't go for a direct Master rather you can access the Masters path via a PGD/C. This shows good professional progression or career advancement than the Diploma or Advanced Diploma. If you see a PGD/C program with co-op in your desired course, the better for you.

As an additional tips, if you intend to put in a family application, endeavour to be able to satisfy the VO on your financial capability and present a good home tie. If you intend to put in a single application, then you show less funds and your family can also serve as a strong home tie. Also, endeavour to justify your study gap with substantial envidence.

All the best.
