''To put an egg into a bottle, you will need a raw egg, a tall, clear glass and a bottle of vinegar. Carefully place the egg into the glass and pour on the vinegar until the egg is covered. Within the first few minutes you will see bubbles forming on the surface of the egg and rising to the top of the glass. Leave the egg in the vinegar and put it in the refrigerator for 24 hours. After 24 hours, carefully discard the old vinegar, pouring on fresh vinegar and returning it to the refrigerator where you will leave it for one week. After one week, remove and rinse the egg. You will notice that the egg's shell has completely dissolved, leaving a soft, rubbery translucent raw egg. You will also notice that some of the vinegar has permeated the egg's membrane, causing it to increase in size'' http://www.ehow.com/info_8122302_raw-egg-vinegar-experiments.html So its not magic, its simple science. Google it too |
k2039: But those of us living in luxury have the liberty to give birth to as many we can cater for because I'm aiming for at least 12 kids Why of course you can have up to 100 children if you like as long as you can take care of them.Good luck to your wife though If you understood my post well, my question is why do some people have more children than they can afford to take care of |
I remember back in those days when having a lot of children was considered a very honourable thing. In Igbo land, if a woman had up to 10 or more children a very big goat was killed for her and her husband was considered a real man. Families had large acres of farming land and livestock was very ample so taking care of a large family was not a problem at all. But with the advent urbanization and development times have changed, farming and keeping livestock is no longer part of life and the available resources are depleting on a daily basis. I'll give a couple of examples, a family where the parents have menial jobs. They live in a one bedroom apartment and have 6 children. These set of people will have these children and send them off to go work for someone and a good number of these kids end up being maltreated or killed or walk the streets as touts or prostitutes. On the other hand, the kids that weren't sent off will stay home and do heavy chores that is meant for a much bigger person or start hawking food along the road. So my question is this why do people keep having children when its obvious that they don't have the basic means to take care of them and bring them up properly. |
I don't really know about seperate bedrooms though that is a bit much. I think there is enough space in the house or should be to get some me time. I feel couples if married should make sure they sleep in the same bedroom.[/quot Having separate rooms does not necessarily mean that the couple spend their nights in their own separate rooms. The woman can have a room where she keeps her clothes, foot wears and generally everything that belongs to her but every night, she spends it with her husband in his room. Even if she has to sleep in her room then it was imperative that she slept there. Perhaps there's a nursing baby or there was a once in a while quarrel with her husband and she needs to cool off or she just needs to be alone away from hubby, the kids, etc. The list is endless. Separate rooms are really important. |
If indeed she's pregnant, their mother will not be too thrilled because she's always preaching 'marriage before having kids' to her daughters. |
i don't smack my kids in public because smacking them in public will affect their self-esteem and i don't want people looking at me like am a mean mum with horns on my head ![]() So when my son starts throwing a tantrum in public, i warn him a couple of times and if he doesn't let up I just plaster a smile on my face pull him close like i want to hug him and give his ear a good hard pinch. He NEVER tries to misbehave till i finish whatever i have to do outside the house and get home. Kids sabi to embarrass pesin in public |
I don't give my children money when they behave well or keep the house clean, etc. Instead, i encourage and praise them for their effort it really goes a long way to boost their confidence and they feel motivated to keep up the good job that i praised them for. My son has a lot of toys but he could go out and see a toy that he doesn't have then he'll come home and ask that we buy that toy for him. We don't buy the toys because he said so in essence, we are teaching him to be content with what he has. If i get him everything he asks for he'll turn out to be a spoilt child, same for his siblings. They do little age appropriate chores around the house and when they are through they go and play. I have a time frame for them to watch TV in the house so they have their own time and i and my hubby have ours. Left to them they could sit in front of the TV and watch cartoons all day long, ![]() I spank my kids mildly but that's when they have been reeeeeeaaaaaally naughty. I must have warned them of the naughty trait maybe like twice on different occasions and the third warning would be with a spank. Trust me it rids them of the naughty behaviour forever, lol. |
almajiri101: Omo e be lyk say na diz kidnapping job dey reign now...choi! i wish i dey among those kidnappers,1st thing i wil do is to nack her akpako from back to front, give her octopus and lizard styleI detest people like you. So the only thing in your devilish mind is to think of how to rape her. You should condemn the act but you are here thinking of how to rape her. May God have mercy on your soul and the likes of you. Oh by the way,as you think of the styles you will give her remove her face and put your daughter's face and remove your face and put a strange man's face. If you don't have a daughter put your sister's face and if you don't have a sister put your own mother's face. |
Its my birthday today!!!! I really feel special today |
thanks, i have received the maggi e-book. |
@ op, much as i sympathize with you in your present predicament, you have to find a business that you will engage yourself in. I have a relation that went through exactly the same situation as you and he also had a 2 months old baby and wife. His wife was a youth corper so no tangible means of income from her. He didn't go about begging for help but gathered the much resources he had and started up a business. Three years later, with hard work, dedication and prayers he is now running his own business and EMPLOYING labour. My advice to you my dear friend is that if you dont want to receive insult from people including your relations and even your wife, because of your unemployment, start up something, anything, and put your mind to it. A white collar job is not the ticket to living a happy successful life. Cheers |
hello house, i have been waiting for the maggi e-book but no one has sent it to me. Can someone please send me the book @biabeke, @joghor,@ the others that have gotten a copy. thanks |

Its funny, boko haram attacks are always foiled or detected whenever it involves any thing that concerns Muslims. On the other hand, the bombs always go off and kill people where Christians and are involved. This is not to start an e-fight between Muslims and Christians but its a fact. |

This is indeed a beautiful rendition of our national anthem. If only, we as a nation and as Nigerian individuals, take a moment and reflect on the entire body of the anthem, am sure we would be more patriotic citizens and there would LESS of all the troubles we find ourselves in. God bless Nigeria and save her from all her troubles |
