The book of Josephus Flavius was written under the control of the Roman empire so their emperors over the years were able to add anything they like to it. As an example, more recently King James did not agree with the Catholic church on an action he wanted to take, so what did he do? He wrote his own the King James Bible.

For history to be authentic you need an eye witness account passed down to others. In the case of Josephus Flavius writing on Jesus Christ it is fake as he was not born then and he was a traitor to his own people and used by the Roman empire to create Chritianity.
