Klass99:Going for mental health counseling no mean say person don mad o, I go for it regularly because it is also a requirement in my line of work. It is just talk therapy, pouring out your heart in a safe space where you sense the congruence, empathy, non-judgement and unconditional positive regard of the therapist who would in the case of the OP, help her explore Personality clusters and where she falls in and help her through psychoanalysis to see if there were childhood experiences that made her develop social anxiety and help OP develop healthy coping skills through cognitive behavioural therapy. With a good therapist, OP would eagerly look forward to the next session after the first one.😊😊 |
drlateef:Peter Obi was born in 1961, how come after spending 7-9 years in school for a 4 year course, he did his NYSC when he 24 years old? |
uuzba:There are thousands of Nigerian trained nurses working here in the UK, how many of them have made the news for professional misconducts? |
Cooly100:States should invest in training their indigenes in Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences in their state owned accredited institutions and have agreements with foreign countries to supply them with those skilled health workers and have a fee paid to the state government for their recruitment instead to some fraudulent agencies. |
Legitiscool:OP is a hired pen, it scribbles whatever Oshiomhole has in mind, so objectivity isn't an adjective that can be associated with him. |
Investing in human capital development.... impressive. Few years from now, many of them would be employed in foreign countries and earning way better, then remit money home and boost Enugu state's economy. |
richmond500:But not to be saying what they are saying as excuse! Nigeria government and it's foreign missions, over the years have regularly shown not to be proactive when it comes to such. |
richmond500:France is already evacuating her citizens not only just diplomats. |
While FG gives excuses why they can't evacuate Nigerians in Sudan. ![]() |
VinnyBaba:A man sponsoring a lady with the intention of marrying her is foolish.....it is a senseless gamble. |
Sighs.... |
sonature1:Overwhelming majority of Nigerian students in Sudan are from the North and sponsored by their State's governors. A Southerner who is Christian, would rather go to Kenya than Sudan for university education as Kenya makes sense. |
googi:Psychiatric care is expensive. |
stuffs2002:A nursery one pupil can easily score 10, by just guessing! ![]() You mean those who are taught the English language in Hausa, speaks better! ![]() I guess it is the aggressive malpractices, that makes Imo state alone to yearly graduate medical doctors more than the entire North-Western states combined......the data is there! ![]() |
Very risky. |
StaffofOrayan:Who is stopping Yoruba artisans, craftsmen, traders etc from motivating their youths to embrace apprenticeship, learn under them so that wealth can be devolved? Has any other tribe stopped a Yoruba youth from going into apprenticeship under a fellow Yoruba, who have mastered hos or her skills? Back in the early 80s, my mother's younger brother (we are from Imo) was given to one of our tenants who was an Anambra man who had then recently been settled by his own "master". The man told my parents that boys from Imo state were not known to have the humility to serve oga for 8 years as they tend to lean more to education, civil service jobs etc, my parents assured him of my uncle's readiness to abide by his rules, that is how my uncle became one of the early set of Imo men who did spare parts sales apprenticeship in Idumota, Lagos while sons of the Yoruba owners of the places where they had their shops in Idumota back then were not interested in learning such trade but were focused on collecting the easy money of taxing the igbo traders for offloading their goods.....my uncle presence, inspired a lot families from Imo state to allow their sons go into spare parts sales apprenticeship in Idumota and endured 7-8 years of highs and lows before they got settled. |
StaffofOrayan:Cosharis Lagos is a business owned by an Igbo man, are all the staff igbos?.....You need go there to see those who work in the show rooms up to the garages where their cars are being repaired. The Sun newspaper is owned by Orji Uzor Kalu, Mike Awoyinfa was the pioneer Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Sun. it also had Femi Adesina as Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief up till 2015 when Buhari appointed him to be his media man. In terms of business partnership, the popular Eko Hospital was set up by three medical doctors, Alexander Eneli, Sunday Kuku, and Augustine Obiora (2 igbos and a Yoruba). You are free to restrict employing only people from your village, home town and state to work in your businesses......no one would query you because I no go follow you share in your profit. |
We are not producing for export. those containers could be filled with locally made artworks, fruits, vegetables, tubers, fabrics etc but it is not a priority. ![]() |
StaffofOrayan:If you go to many building sites in the South East, majority of the guys handling the roofing are Yorubas who have fellow Yorubas as the majority of their apprentices and the building owners are not bothered where the apprentices are from, you have been highly referred....deliver the project. So why should anyone be bothered about you transferring skills to someone from your place who is willing to learn? Fayose back then when he was Governor, talked about sending unemployed Ekiti youths to the East for apprenticeship as he recognized the system has helped many igbos in being self-reliant.

StaffofOrayan:There is only ONE CITIZEN, a Nigerian. Where a Governor has total influence on employment is in the civil service, how many workers can a state government employ without having a bloated civil service? The private sector employs more than the state governments and that is where the competition as it stresses more on your competence not where you come from because profit needs to be made. |
StaffofOrayan:A migrant in this context, is a non-Nigerian but when the non-Nigerian is the available labour, he/she has to be employed just like as we have the Togolese and Beninoise tilers in many construction sites across Nigeria, no be dem stop Nigerian Youths from getting skilled in tiling. |
FreeStuffsNG:But Professor Ishaq was referring to Christian presidential candidates. ![]() |
StaffofOrayan:You can't even explain in your own words, what "Yoruba jobs" means. ![]() |
FreeStuffsNG: ![]()
|
StaffofOrayan:Interpret what "Yoruba jobs" mean. |
LesbianBoy:You no add Northerners join! ![]() |
There are over 10,000 private schools in Lagos state.....combining the number of teaching staff in all those schools , it is more populated by non-Yorubas....I am imagining these schools be given directives to employ and have 90% of their teachers to be Yorubas! ![]() FreeStuffsNG:North did same too and have developed rapidly, so rapidly that at present a child from Zamfara State only need score 2 marks to get admitted into a Federal government college while a child from Imo state who scores 132 is considered to have failed! But down the line, going by JAMB's admission record, Imo state continued its leadership of the chart in 2013 with 2,395 students admitted to study Medicine while during the same 2013. Zamfara had 117 students who got admitted to study Medicine.......Set awon rapid development isonu! ![]()
|
StaffofOrayan:So you mean even private businesses in Lagos owned by non-Yorubas MUST have Yorubas as 90% of its workforce? |
|
Good development. |
Darkandhandsom:What is the ratio of Nigerian men killing their Nigerian wives in comparison to Non-Nigerian husbands killing their Nigerian wives? |

😒
There are more muslims in Osun and Oyo than christians yet both states have Christian governors and even defeated Muslim opponents.
