Whenever I walked through the grounds of the prestigious Pembroke College in Cambridge and knowing that FFK who studied law in the College ended up being a political houseboy to the highest bidder....it strikes to mind, to never have any form of relationship with substance addiction, addicts rarely fully recover.

She needs to be financially stable first by getting a job and if things detoriate further, she would be in a better position to make hard decisions as being humiliated by in-laws is not part of a healthy marriage.

With electricity generation, transmission and distribution now devolved, Imo state government have no excuse not to tap into this project for steady power supply.

Visit her as what? Renting a place 4 her will take her out of his sight nd will thereby make him 4get abt her
Out of sight, is certainly not out of mind.

Someone (if true) who acknowledged being a Peeping Tom while his wife was in the house and had not yet slept with her is because he is not always around and what would stop him from visiting her, when he is away from home?

There is a reason why Joseph had to run out of the room when Potipha's wife seduced him. If he had stayed i bliv he wouldn't have been able to overcome the urge. So just help urself by renting a place 4 that girl cos the more u see her the more the urge will increase nd one day you'll eventually sleep with her. Let's be real, men don't have what it takes to resist frequent sexual temptation especially when it's presented on a platter of gold. A 28 yr old lady shud be planning to get married soon nd not deliberately trying to cause problems in some other person's home.
If he rents a place for her, he will be visiting her to "see how she is doing". Paying the rent, would tend to make him rationalize the visit.
Family › Re: Marriage Has Failed Me! by Mindlog:
You need to get working again and not be financially dependent on anyone.

When you start earning, there will be more clarity on which direction to take going forward in your marriage but in all, always remind yourself that no human being has the right to diminish you.

You had a life before marriage and do not let the marriage depersonalize you.

I will certainly encourage you not to have another baby soonest as firstly, you need to sort out your finances and most importantly, where you stand in your marriage.

Travel › Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by Mindlog: 6:01pm On Apr 10, 2023
Adlac:
Pls, What are the associated condition to convert from student to work visa?

Do I need to pay in full for the sch fee? Or just opt out.

Thanks.
If you want to enter the UK through the student route, go for a course that even when you get the opportunity to switch over to work visa while still studying, you will be motivated to complete and graduate.

I switched from student to skilled worker visa while still studying Clinical Child Psychology, I didn't opt out because I know graduating would boost my CV, offer me more opportunities and today if I want to switch from my present sponsor, I am 100% sure I will have sponsors willing to snap me up immediately as my role in Child and Adolescent Mental Health is in very high demand.

Don't waste the opportunity of getting a sought after degree by dropping out.

Good morning all. I’ll like to hear your thoughts about this.
A friend of mine had ND in architecture (2.60) same with HND architecture (2.68). Now she recently completed a care course ( level 3 diploma) and she planning of traveling out of 9ja, is it possible to migrate with the care program or she’ll need to apply for masters degree. Pls I’ll like to know if the care route is better for her
If a masters degree becomes her only option of moving to the UK, she should apply for Msc Psychology (conversion) and would stand a better chance of switching to skilled worker visa before she graduates.

I normally go there to buy in kilo or tell them i want to so so amount, but what baffles me is i see some they cut chunks of meat for and they will be pricing it ,like I will pay 2k o eleran will say no pay 3k, woman will say ok 2.5k last, eleran will collect the money and cut the meat for her which is bigger and plenty more than me that buys in kilo.

I think they usually cheat me as per man wey I be.
My mum in her hey days would have priced that meat for N800, I used to pity those eleran! cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

I suspect the advent of tv and news casting may have helped to reshape the world. People had to start pretending to be good and nice to avoid bad press.
Read up on Le Grand Dérangement of 1755 by the British military.

I like your sincerity.

Many Nigerian women are involved in that evil, including my own wife.

I think that's just a reflection of their inherent inability to handle power when given one.

It's also the same reason women who are their families' breadwinners maltreat/oppress their husbands.
As the head of your home, it is your responsibility to see that everyone under your roof is treated humanely, this is not about power but the sense of control, displacement brings and your wife seeks that while you have become an observer.

We blacks can’t even get records going back 50 years without controversy about whether they are factual or not.
Where records are not kept. "personal facts" thrives.

SS can't withstand SE if them invade them..

Only the Yorubas and hausas know how to deal with igbos
Invade the Binis, itsekiris, Ijaws, Urhobos. Anaangs, Isokos, Efiks, Ishans etc? huh

It seems you and your cohorts have limited knowledge of tribes outside the Yorubas and the Hausa/Fulanis, reason it is so easy to address someone who is Ukelle as "omo ibo".

I guess part of the Yorubas and Hausas knowing how to deal with the igbos, is making sure that children from Anambra, Enugu and Imo who receives same education like other Nigerian children are meant to score higher in order to pass the same national common entrance exams? cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Don't hope anything, set àwón defender of South-south.

Let Nigeria practice true Federalism and have power less concentrated in Abuju. I am glad that electricity generation, transmission and distribution have been removed from the Exclusive list, let Nigerians be told the excuses why Governors across Nigeria can not see to it that their State's residents have access to steady power supply.

Ibos sha want to take south south by force..... The resource control is so much based on SS oil....

They want to invade SS should we ever go separate..

Never
Invade SS because people in that region are dumb and helpless or what? The same SS who have their militants that have caused the FG headaches is what another region wants to "invade"? shocked

SS don't need you to speak for them, they have been agitating for resource control way back Obasanjo's Presidency!

You guys don't think. Settle down, think and you will see the clear picture. Remember during primaries and electioneering period how APC seemed to be fighting themselves, you saw the result at the end of the day. Underestimate that party at your own peril.
PDP did more than that and got so carried away by its "successes" that one of their former chairman (who is now dead) claimed that PDP would rule Nigeria for the next 60 years......where is PDP today?

Let her get herself back, be in a good state of mind and work towards adopting a child.

I have a relative whose 16 years marriage ended for the same reason. The ex-husband remarried and still has no child while she adopted a 3 year old girl who should be joining secondary school this September.
