We need to ask this question, how many men want to marry more than one wife and have more children with these wives? vs how many men want to marry one wife, have children only with her but still get to have different sexual partners outside marriage?
Crime › Re: Soldier Kills Rowland Tafida, MOPOL Officer Over Girlfriend by Mindlog: 8:21am On Feb 08, 2020
A MOPOL officer and a soldier had an altercation over a girlfriend, an innocent MOPOL officer not aware of the feud got killed, so sad!

Those officers need periodic mental state examination to evaluate their attitude, mood, affect, speech, thought, reliability, cognition, judgement and insight.

"Nigeria’s total trade stood at N9.19 trillion in the third quarter of 2019, being exports worth N5.29 trillion and imports worth N3.89 trillion".........So Nigeria exports to China more than imports from it.
Family › Re: Is It A Must To Do A White Wedding After Traditional Wedding? by Mindlog: 5:21am On Feb 08, 2020
phlegmatic007:
Is it a must to undergo the stress of white wedding after completing the traditional wedding?
It depends on the people involved, couples who are Christians would naturally want to solemnize their union in their Church and get people to celebrate with them there also. So the Church wedding and the Nikkah ceremony even after the traditional rites are part of our socialization.

So if you are an atheist and the lady you are marrying likewise her family are atheists then be sure that you won't "undergo the stress of white wedding".

If this is a true story, I will advise you seek professional help in terms of therapy to help you process what you are going through and give you a clearer perspective about your marriage. Repression is deadly as it pose danger to emotional and cognitive health as one may end up injuring herself or the husband. The thought and the eventual stabbing/killing of spouses in marriages do not just come up from nowhere.

Another super story!!

Same pattern, same writing skills and same time frame.
I wonder the person behind these steady fake stories.
So much fake stories coming in. Persons behind all these threads are not in a good place mentally, an indication of histrionic personality disorder (HPD) a symptom which is excessive attention-seeking.

I can imagine how diminished the man feels. From the story, she is likely to identify positively with psychosis as the unexpected strength and losing of contact with external reality are markers.

Family › Re: Divorce The Only Option For Me, I Still Love Her But She Can't Change by Mindlog: 6:56pm On Feb 02, 2020
If all you stated is true, your marriage is very much redeemable. From your write up, you have been married for 8 years and have involved her family at different times to resolve issues, is she using the salon as a diversion, a coping mechanism to deal the fact that you two are yet to be blessed with the fruit of the womb? Since you wrote that you love your wife and believes she also does love you too, go for professional couple therapy.
Family › Re: Isit LegallyRight For A Parent Or Parents To Violently Force An Adult To Rehab? by Mindlog: 10:28am On Feb 02, 2020
Slikosliko57:
What happens when these individuals are sincerely not addicts because this could also be the case. Anybody who gets to the gates of a rehab isn't leaving there until after 90days whether he likes it or not. So even the ones who are not addicted will have to suffer when the rehab is told that they visit the club three Fridays out of four to drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes and socialize like other normal human beings. Drinking alcohol and being an alcoholic are two different things.
Even persons who abuse alcohol and other substances rarely acknowledge their state, they rationalize their consumption.

Before anyone is admitted into the rehab whether voluntarily or not, a pre-intake screening is carried out. Why not the person (I have this feeling that it is you because from your posts you have not been successful in depersonalizing) focus on moving out of his parents house? Dependent living comes with its terms.

Slikosliko57:
To my lawyers in the house, Is legally right for a parent or parents to violently force (by calling people to inject and attack them) an adult (their child) who is about 29-30 years and above to a rehab against his or her will just because they drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes (even when alcohol and cigarettes are not against the law)? Is it lawfully right to force them to a rehab against their will when they haven't constituted any nuisance or violent behaviour.
Addiction is a family disease, the addict's lifestyle affects the other members of the family. Drinking alcohol is not the issue but being an alcoholic is where the problem lies because the user has developed dependency on it.
Family › Re: Isit LegallyRight For A Parent Or Parents To Violently Force An Adult To Rehab? by Mindlog:
I work in a psychiatric hospital, a good number of patients wake up to find themselves admitted there because many of them would not voluntarily agree to be brought over.

In the Rehabilitation centre, out of the 37 in residence, ranging from the age 19 to 53 years (both gender) only 4 came willingly while the rest are still angry and living in denial that their various drugs of choice is not an issue! Sha dey must complete their 90 days of detoxification, psychoeducation, occupational therapy, group and one-on-one therapy sessions, after which sobriety or relapse is a choice to make and live out when they leave.

Congratulations to all the January starters that got their visa approved. While in the UK don’t just focus on book alone, make sure u explore, network, make contacts and gather as much information as possible about work experience and possibility of changing your immigration status in a legit way. All the best and wish you the very best in the Queen’s land.
Good advice. I intend starting September and by the time I finish in 2021, I should have gotten the professional license to practice in the UK as a therapist and get to change my immigration status.
