Christianity Etc › Re: My Heart Cry As A Scammer And I'm Ready To Give My Life To Christ But... by Mindlog: 8:22pm On Mar 31, 2020
drderock:
Some of you guys here came on my WhatsApp and threatening me that if I don't stop scamming people they will deal with me ruthlessly, I am waiting for you people o. Come and arrest me! You guys don't know what I face here and how I survive, i know how many persons I have met to assist me with some moni to startup something understood to be very lucrative that will take me of the street. I have skill in some sort of legitimate online businesses but only seeking a level of assistance. The menial job i get here is only a hand to mouth job and can't really save up anything meaningful to help me start up on my business. Okay as we speak now, if I see someone who will contact me on Whatsapp to assist me with even if it's N50,000 to help me get a good start on my dream business, I will stop scamming people and come back here when I've started making profit, I'll come back here to make refunds to whoever I've scammed before. If anyone could do this for me and you see this account or a trace of any of my information still involved in scam, you people should deal with me as you wish. This is my WhatsApp number to contact me on 08127028456

To be honest, I'm ready to rededicate my life back to Christ but who will help me? How will I survive if I stop this scam activities that takes care my feeding daily?
Don't threaten anyone with continuing being a scammer as if it is for others' benefit. Feel free to be a scammer but just know you will not end up well especially when someone you scammed pray Psalm 109 on top your head

1 My God, whom I praise,
do not remain silent,
2 for people who are wicked and deceitful
have opened their mouths against me;
they have spoken against me with lying
tongues.
3 With words of hatred they surround me;
they attack me without cause.
4 In return for my friendship they accuse me,
but I am a man of prayer.
5 They repay me evil for good,
and hatred for my friendship.
6 Appoint someone evil to oppose my enemy;
let an accuser stand at his right hand.
7 When he is tried, let him be found guilty,
and may his prayers condemn him.
8 May his days be few;
may another take his place of leadership.
9 May his children be fatherless
and his wife a widow.
10 May his children be wandering beggars;
may they be driven from their ruined homes.
11 May a creditor seize all he has;
may strangers plunder the fruits of his labor.
12 May no one extend kindness to him
or take pity on his fatherless children.
13 May his descendants be cut off,
their names blotted out from the next
generation.
14 May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered
before the Lord; may the sin of his mother.
never be blotted out
15 May their sins always remain before the Lord,
that he may blot out their name from the earth

You are free to google to finish reading the psalm.

Nigerian government learning, means less resources to misappropriate but sadly the Nigerian system is addicted to things not working right.

LOL sis, you should go to the romance thread and see how some naija men are vehemently against this.
They feel that your ilk will become demons upon any kind of earning, and they also believe that the only way a woman can make it outside of the home is by thotting.

It's a comical thread at this point. grin
So they feel insecure around the thought of women who earn their own income legitimately and would most times have a sense of self identity? Maybe they grew up seeing their female relatives earning through thotting and it became normalized to the extent they are convinced that is the only way a woman can earn.

Parents should raise their daughters to see the need to be economically active before getting married as making money is not gender specific.

For those diagnosed and already on medication, you need to incorporate one on one therapy sessions and support groups as part of your treatment plan

Motherless kids oh and their father cannot provide for them, meanwhile some people on here keep on undermining the contribution of women in the family.
Those who says so are not matured minds. You see women their late husband left behind 5 children for them to cater alone, brace up and take responsibility to the extent of training their children through tertiary institutions and most time without the emotional nor financial support from the late husband's relatives who when he was alive, he was supporting them.

When it comes to surviving loss and coping with the trauma, women are stronger than men.....this is evidence based.

Don't regard it as discouraging but rather giving you a clearer view of what is ahead, so you don't regret spending so much £££ on undesired outcome. It gives you the opportunity to fine tune your plans.

Your work and studies obviously correlate so you’re good to go.

I was referring to students studying a course that’s completely different but working in the mental health sector because it pays well & it’s quite easy to get. You’re even lucky that you will get to become part of the BPB. Most people work under agencies that won’t even give references or certificates to support your work experience.
I understand, it makes sense for one to be strategic with their choices in order to achieve better outcomes. Thanks for your insightful posts.

The question is, how many people applying for two years programs got good CVs??

Some were either self employed or working with small business. Nothing to really write home about. Some companies don’t value Nigerian work experience except you worked in big organisations.

Two years is only good if one can really dedicate time to finding a relevant part time work & volunteer often to add as well.

Now someone that’s studying civil engineering will be doing care work or mental health just to pay bills (because those are the easiest jobs to get). You go to these companies with a CV full of Nigerian work experience and upon that, your current job does not even relate to what you’re studying. They will look at you as a joke.

I usually recommend the study abroad option or compulsory internships if one is going for a two years master programme.

Yes In terms of tuition some of them charge about £850 or so but most of them actually charge way more up to £3k. Plus the ones that charge £850 already have expensive one year tuition from £14k. It’s all marketing strategy per say

U.K. mostly favour people in the medical field or part of IT/Engineering really. Business students are just hanging on a rope
I presently work in a psychiatric hospital as a mental health worker, so I felt since those who would go through either the one year or two year masters program in my intending course would still get to become members of the same British professional body irrespective of duration of program upon graduation and moreover I intend utilizing my weekly 20 hours working in a mental health facility which am already used to, that serving as a paid placement for me. grin

Lmaooo you will become methuselah before uni will find placement for you. They will just keep filling your emails with placement adverts.

So It’s your responsibility dear.
If you’re not able to secure one, you will just continue with classes & dissertation. They don’t even send you with that placement.

I personally think that these U.K. universities extort internationals. They know very well that at least 80% of internationals will not be able to secure placements, yet they list it on their website to make you pay extra. Internationals too thinking they have sense will be rushing for two year programs just to buy more time in the “abroad”
. Las las you will realise that the second year was not really worth the extra tuition. Two years is only handy if you’re going to work to pay off your tuition & you don’t want to be under much pressure. That’s all, nothing else.

The only one they can help you with it’s study abroad but you will be the one to do the uni & visa applications. Then again most internationals don’t utilise this opportunity because they’re either still owing tuition & need to work or they’re just not ready to stress themselves with the whole wahala of moving abroad
That has reaffirmed my decision to opt for the one year M.A option as the only 3 other schools in the UK that offers my course of choice are offering it as a 2-year program with Placement 1 and Placement 2 as part of it. I asked myself why waste time going for a 2 year duration when with the one year program I can still achieve the same outcome, graduate next year and move on with my career!

He tried helping but they usually end up squandering the money on irrelevances, mostly virtual games.
Your guy in question is not even ready to mentally disengage from such living setup as he still gets his "high" from his siblings' parasitical ways. He seems addicted to being their enabler and he sees anybody trying to make him rethink it as an enemy, it is like being separated from an addict's drug of choice.

Walking away is best option rather than wasting your entire lifetime fighting a family set in their ways.

Though many of us were socialized not to look people in the eye especially older ones as it is regarded as a sign of disrespect but truth is that eye contact itself is very fundamental in communication. Back in school, we were trained to look people in the eye without making them feel uncomfortable because it is one of the key tool needed in our line of work.

There is a difference between staring and making eye contact.

I'm just curious, I see a lot of Teeside offers here, I see from other schools too but offers from Coventry University seems to be just a handful, if any. Please is there a reason why people are avoiding Coventry. I want to know because that's my first choice.
Just like my intending school, Swansea University but I don't view it as people are avoiding it because a lot of things are being factored in when choosing a school. For me Swansea University is the only school in the UK that offers the course and duration of my choice.

Men who cannot cook and clean and care for kids should not get married either.

Enough of the idiotic double standards.
There is no double standard regarding the advice. Does it make sense for any human being be it male or female go into getting married and having children without a sustainable source of income. What would the woman and the children depend on should the husband lose his means of livelihood, fall sick or dies. We all have brains to come up with ideas to earn us income legitimately.
