Seem like you have experienced the crappy service they render over there.

Rather than Tecno and their carlcare service centre spend money to buy parts for the phones, they are churning out, they will rather spend money on all these jobless Tecno marketers here online to keep lying to people and coercing unsuspecting newbies to keep buying their substandard phones.

A visit to carlcare Opebi Lagos, Tecno's main service centre in Lagos says it all.

Funny enough last time I went there at Opebi, some of their staff even confirmed to me their fears about Gionee, and confided in me the preference people, even among them over there have for Gionee phones.

And they keep confusing themselves that good phones with international repute like Gionee, Xiaomi, etc are not here to stay.

Abeg, anyone eying this this Gionee P5w should ignore those Tecno liars and go for the device.

Before you take him seriously, check through his posts and tell me if he is not a mere marketer for crappy Tecno. He cannot recommend any other phone make for you but Tecno, because that is what he is paid to do.

Hard truth is that what Tecno and their carlcare, service centre at their head office Opebi Lagos offers leaves much to be desired. Imagine that it was impossible to "fix" my Tecno phone under their "waranty" without going back repeatedly with that same issue being unresolved or a new fault developing and they expect one to take them seriously and not switch? This was similar to what many have experienced with them, and common among what they will tell you sometimes at carlcare is that they do not have parts for you to wait endlessly, sometimes months without solutions.

Having had my fair share of horrible experience with Tecno, and their incompetent carlcare service (which one carlcaresophia keeps directing people here), just like many other ex-Tecno fans, I cant but lend my voice.

Dude, If you really do have this issue unlike many others and no headway, you may want to consider doing a total factory reset of your phone, and if issue persists, think of heading to their service centre to get the possible best help you can from them. They might end up changing the phone there if it comes to that. All the best.

Guy u try, but phone dogfights are not done that way. U need to have both phones in ur hand to be able to make a comparison. It doesn't make sense comparing just on specs and other people's review. Just look at the camera shootout, u had to lift a picture taken by another reviewer and compare with urs. Picture quality are based on lots of factors. The environment, the lightning condition etc. So it would have been better if u had both phones and take pictures at the same environmental and lighting conditions.

Mind dropping a few lines, your comparison of these devices.

I started downloading the latest firmware for this device when my battery was at a strong 67%. Now, it's at 60% and the download is at 745mb+. And at the same time, I'm watching a movie and 5 other downloads(Scorpion TV series) just completed.

My former phone can't handle a situation like dis.

N.B: I'm using the 'None' Power Optimization
-Highest documented speed 377kb/s(No service at my current position)
-Background apps still running.
-Bluetooth headset mode.

All activities over 1hour+ and I used up just 6-7% of juice

I thought USB OTG is an added advantage. Is it not d same as using an external memory? Pls anybody who understands better should explain.

OTG helps you such that you connect to an external storage device and use it as though it was an "sd card" storage space, but it can be cumbersome moving around with such storage device connected compared to SD card which normally will portably sit inside the phone and not extend outside the phone. Eg: it's difficult to put your phone in your pocket with the OTG device still connected.

Go for m5 if u ar a heavy user cus of bat3,s plus bat3 is good bt nt for heavy user,den if u fancy design go for S plus,m5 is da beast,i will choose m5 over s plus,anytime anyday,so its ur choice
