olapluto: I doubt Hausas will make trouble outside their land. Lagos is too far away for them to pick up fights. If they are being pursued, they wont reach Ikire before being caught. I urge Lagos govt and the federal govt to intervene. Oba Akiolu Rilwan, Olowo Eko, Oko Kofoworola, please step in and deal with the culprits.
FYI: Hausa-Yoruba fight even in Lagos is no new thing. Recall, the one that took place in IdiAraba area of Lagos years back.
Tochaigh: You ask us to embrace entrepreneurship, you want to diversify the economy, you don't want to devalue the currency, you want to discourage importation, Buhari you said your government will be judged on how many Nigerians you bring out of poverty, but one thing central to all these issues, we haven't heard you for once speak about it. You have no blueprint, no plan. Mr osinbanjo before the elections was acting power sector guru, but since you won the presidential election he's been silent, you on the other hand have been dumbfounded. Mr Buhari, you said and I quote "you don't know why you became president at this 'time'".
Mr Buhari if you are an honorable man as your supporters claim and you find the current situation too challenging for your very limited physical and mental capacity, please resign. Millions of Nigerians don't give their bosses excuses, they get the job done. Vandalism or not, a year is gone already, and you still have no clue!
Mr special adviser be sure to show this post to your boss.
One year is tootoo short. Wait at least for 4 years. Change is on its way.
Nigeria wey done enter one chance since March 2015!
Obiagelli: Can this governmemt be bold enough to ban the NURTW. Two day ago it was Oshodi, today its mile 12
Where area boys are still roaming free and ruling on the streets of Lagos the govt apparently incapable of containing them, you are talking of banning NURTW.
smarthG: Trying to kill other POLITICAL PARTIES to secure enough space for Another Piece of Crap(APC)
This isn't fight against kwaraptian, this isn't democracy.
Obasanjo did same during his tenure and that was the begining of downfall of then PDP so, this is the beginng of downfall of APC.
No APC person is corupt at all. Many people arekilling Nigeria with your unwise supports of government misdids.
Tomorrow you wll hear the COWA presdential candidate has been arrested and you guys wouldn't think deep to figure things.
My hand no dey ooo
Bottom line - Nigerians completely deserve the crappy leadership they get. Buhari and his APC is yet to wake up to reality that they are now in power which they have long been toiling to get.
vizkiz: she no dey sing hit songs sef. Na just normal kindda songs.
I would advice her to add more swaggs to her style Because with those kindda songs whey she dey sing, it will be hard for her to make "money" in this present music industry.
Imagine them never even nominate am for any headies award sef. Smh
Truth, she's gifted but the industry is tougher than she is offering. She must up her game to break ground.
Buhari's government and their selective probes. Who takes them serious? Day we see one of Buhari's corrupt loyalist in handcuffs, we know anti-corruption war truly began.
Savigne: Leave the messenger alone and fce the message. This people came riding on the wings of the former govt's failure so Nigerians expect something differennt from them...The fact the PDP failed at keeping their campaign promises doesnt excuse APC's failure to keep to their words.
And some daft souls here think Nigerians don't deserve better than the crap that Buhari and his government are feeding us.
Many Nigerians here seem to still have the grace and resource to keep on tolerating and making excuses for the Federal government's failures and seeming cluelessness and directionlessness, otherwise we should have formed a formidable voice to sustain the tide and continue to demand on the government to perform.
Some hope to begin to ask questions after the damage must already have been done in 4 years time.
ElCapone: yes ooh bro, even as God dey bless ppl him no bless us all equally, and i dont tink dat takes anything away 4rm his perfect nature or does it bro?
Yes, that erodes every substance from Buhari's "incorrupt" and unbiased posturing.
What else can make President Buhari neck-bent on such a selective mission against his opponents while shielding crooks in his own camp, if not a concealed innate corruption?
Baba Buhari enjoying praises for now repeating what Jonathan was accused of during his own time, and we think we have got "Change"?
AntiMahdi: The scam budget is another means to steal the nation dry.
One will wonder why the apc govt will be spending a whooping 10bn through the ministry of FCT to construct 2 homes for such amount based on a deficit budget
jamesibor: The one that upgraded a website with 78 million naira and dug borehole with 139 million is currently doing a tenure under the clueless dullard.
"Sensible" and gullible Nigerians who will not read between the lines believe there's nothing wrong with that, even if the money would have been utilized to save lives. Even if Dasuki and co had changed to APC their sins might long have been forgotten. That's Buharis definition of anti-corruption war!
Mian: Tecno smartphone is famous for its cost-effectiveness in Africa, I observed that the smartphone is influencing people's life so much in some countries such as America, Japan, China etc, people use smartphone to top up sim card directly by app without any credit card, pay for commodity via smart mobile QR directly in stead of real money in super market, you could see almost all people in subway train focusing on games or e-books of their smartphone. It seems that smartphone already become a pocket with which people is able to do anything easily via mobile.
I m always thinking that how tecno smartphone influence our future life? We would be suffering the same convenience as above?
How's Tecno Smartphone Life? Unpredictable! Go for it if you like unpleasant surprises!
ElCapone: even if all devils are equal, some are more equal dan d oda. Until den he shall fall, unless he is nt destind to. Da case against him is strong, only a fool believes himself untouchable, hence da recklesness of some his actionz. If u want da number 3 spot, u can hav it bt be ready to face all sort of scrutiny.
Yes bro. After all partiality is the name of the game, and has anything changed in the true sense of the word change?
charlsecy: I got a piece of SMS advice from MTN that TruTalk+ tariff plan is no longer supported. All current TruTalk+ users, I discovered from balance enquiry, have been auto-migrated to a much costlier TruTalk plan.
Recall that TruTalk+ which charged an average of N6.6 per minute to all national networks was arguably the cheapest in MTN's basket of tariff plans.
What possibly could have informed this "customer-unfriendly" attitude?
Look not too far, they are trying to cut their "loses", and are aversed to offering their seemingly bewitched customers unbeatable tariffs which their other rivals freely give.
MTN and their evil ways of extorting more than necessary from their many uniformed customers.
jonathanOz: This Rev King's case has taken so long a time. Why is our judiciary process this snail slow?
Because those who run things don't want to review and update the processes. They will rather blame the few judges who are already overwhelmed than address the issues and under staffing of the judiciary.
airsaylongcon: Everyone screaming to defend Oliseh should take note of this. While he sat at supersports studio criticising and fantasising about how he would push a player into more attacking or shutdown a game, Keshi and all other Coaches were roasting. Going for months unpaid. But none of them ever ran in the face of battle. Keshi was owed months of salary and he didn't resign.
Mr Oliseh please next time don't run your mouth if you know you can't stand the pressure. Only those in the kitchen know how hot d fire is
In similar manner like you will love to go on for months on your job without salary, after all its just "normal"?
ElCapone: yet he is begging left right and center 4 mercy. If he had a strong case, y seek to stop da trial at da 1st instance. Its yhu ad ur likez who wld b shamed at da end as there is no hiding place 4 da wicked. A trip to kwara and a research on wat dis devil has done to dat state mite convince other wise only if u too sentimental to see further dan ur nose.
Not also catching other such "Devils" amongst APC loyalists, but rather shielding them - the partiality is what makes it too bad to be acceptable, or credeble!
mauriceju2: Why did Buahri EFCC refused to investigate the following people at least to charge the people who alleged them as liar for perjury? Politicians that should be charged for corruption.
Atiku Abubakar: Reputed to have fleeced the economy of billions in the privatization exercise. His former boss OBJ has consistently told Nigerians that Atiku is "Olee". Today, Atiku remains the presidents right hand man. His stealing has been written-off at the expense of poor Nigerian masses.
Rotimi Amaechi: The Rivers Stage investigation panel confirmed that Rotimi Amaechi stole over N84 Billion from the state treasury. The case was reported to EFCC, but Buahri EFCC refused to investigate at least to charge the people who alleged as liar for perjury. Yet Buhari is making corrupt Amaechi his minister.
Chief Obong Attah: This former Akwa-Ibom governor was accused of fleecing the State to the tune of $5.3 Billion paid to ECONET for which the UK government has declared him wanted. Additionally, the case of over N200M paid for non-existent air port is still largely not investigated. Obong Attah has found a friend in Buhari and as such not longer a thief.
Abacha and family: Buhari served under Abacha regime as Chair of the Petroleum Trust Fund (EFT). This fund was reputed to have "helped"many Buhari friends to loot the Nigerian economy. Though, Buahri has not been directly indicted Abacha family have. In the latest World bank report on Abacha loot, it was reported that the amount was 'too much' for them to trace. Yet Buahri told us that Abacha was not corrupt".
Timipriye Sylva: The former Bayelsa governor who now want to return to state house was accused and being tried for stealing a whooping N22Billion from the state. The case was on by EFCC before Buhari was sworn in as the president. Thereafter, the cases were abandoned by EFCC and Sylva is now running for governorship under Buhari's apc. As a friend of Buhari and member of Buhari's transition team, Sylva theft were written-off. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/184918-efcc-files-fresh-corruption-case-against-ex-governor-sylva.html
Abubakar Audu: Abubakar Audu's case of stealing N11 Billion from one of the poorest states in Nigeria is a pathetic story. No one knows the state of the case as of today. The funny twist to this case was that the State apc chairman told the people of Kogi to re-elect Audu Abubakar so that he can "return" the N11Billion stolen from them. Audu Abubakar as apc flag bearer in Kogi State remains Buhari's friend. Who is fooling who?
Malam El-Rufai: The governor if Kaduna State was formerly Federal Capital Territory minister under PDP. El-Rufai was alleged to have allocated plots to himself and his wives and concubines and even female lover (corp member) was being paid N1million per month as allowance. latest was the N5Billion paid to his company for consultancy service to CBN under Sanusi for no work done. All these were not probed by Buhari, yet story has it that El-Rufai is infact the defacto Vice President of Nigeria. A friend of Buhari is no longer corrupt.
Babatunde Fashola: The case against Fashola is know in public domain. He was reputed to have constructed a personal website with N78 Million in addition to having dug some two boreholes with N300 millions. Babatunde Fashola is a friend of Buhari and now a minister of Buhari's corruption fighting government. What an irony.
Fayemi: Amongst other corruption issues and plunging Ekiti state into an eternal debt, Fayemi was accused of making a bed for N40 million. All calls for EFCC to investigate this act of corruption was glossed over because Fayemi was the "organizer" of Buhari's winning primaries. He is now being appointed as a minister of FGN.
When men like this are moving freely with their agbadas raising, what is corruption fight all about then?
Reason? Because te anti-corruption crusade does not necessarily need to have an impartial or unbiased coloration, afterall govt apologists and the masses as usual might just be too blind to see.
surgecom: There was this guy who always visited our house whenever we were not around(between 12pm - 4pm). He most times forced his way in no matter how strong the doors are locked. As a Surveillance Engineer myself, i decided to install a camera that looks like halogen at the top of the house. Unfortunately for him, the camera caught him in his next visit. He is presently at the remand home at Oregun. Thank God for the video evidence, the case nearly went in their favour.
Incase you are faced with such scenarios/occurences, do not hesitate to install one. Its very useful if you really want to know what has happened in your house while you were not at home. You can also watch it live from your phone or laptop anywhere in the world.
Enjoy the small bit i cut out from the 1 hour video.
