senatordave1:

That's where the issue is, a witness can only testify about event in a PU(according to SC), the number of witnesses must have a significant effect on the testimony, 400+ is insignificant in about population size of 170000+, that is less than 5%, SC will not cancel such election even if rigging is clearly proven.

This is where me and you usually get into a squabble.there are a lot of things you obviously dont, you dont know much about election petition cases and you claim to know when you are empty.you dont ever accept your limitations.the supreme court and the constitution had established how election cases cam be proven, its not about quality but quantity.it can only be established polling unit by polling unit and each unit is treated specially.atiku has failed
Why are you referring to population you mean over 170+millon voted for the cow party just wait let the verdict of the tribunal comes out before you fill Nairaland with your Wailers write up.

Health / Re: I Tested Positive To Hepatitis C by mindurword(m): 10:01pm On Mar 11, 2019
Joana222:
Good day fam.

Please help me with suggestions, I was having stomach discomfort, went for normal check up and I was told I tested positive to hepatitis C. (never heard of it before now) thought it was something I'd just take drugs but doctor said its a viral infection and explained to me after that I was shocked and felt very bad.

I went to 3 different labs again, 2 came out positive, I negative. Then I went back to my doctor, he said I should go for viral load test that it will cost about 30k for the test.

The doctor also said they have treatment but a month will cost me 170k and the treatment will last for 6months (that's over 1 million)

I can't afford that money and he also said that after treatment my test will always be positive but the viral load will be zero (meaning that I will be free of the virus but that the result will always be positive)

I have done some research and I noticed hepatitis c affects the liver, there are some people online that claim they have the drugs and that at the end of using their drug, I will never test positive to the virus again.

I am devastated and confused, depressed is an understatement. Please any experienced doctor or pharmacy or anyone that ever experienced such or know someone.

Please save my life....

Relax your mind and don't think about it you will live your normal life. You will not die

Politics / Re: How Akpabio Was Rigged Out — Oshiomhole by mindurword(m): 8:35pm On Feb 28, 2019
JosEast:
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has alleged that Senator Godswill Akpabio was rigged out of the senatorial election in Akwa Ibom state.

Akpabio of the APC lost his senatorial seat to Christopher Ekpenyong of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in last Saturday’s National Assembly election.

He also said that Atiku was never destined to be the President of Nigeria

Oshiomhole, who reacted to Atiku’s press conference on the outcome of last Saturday’s presidential election, said his party will challenge the results of some National Assembly elections declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

“We have petitions that we have written to INEC – how we were rigged out in Akwa-Ibom State and it is interesting that it is PDP that is complaining about the outcome of election in Akwa-Ibom state.

“How do you explain that INEC cancelled so many units not only in Akwa Ibom state, so many other states in order to be able to declare PDP candidates as winners. That is how Senator Akpabio was rigged out in Akwa Ibom state,” he said.

Oshiomhole, who maintained the earlier stand of the APC that INEC was working for the PDP, said, “whether INEC helped PDP or APC, that is neither here or there.

“I also mentioned that if Atiku decides to go to court, I also reserve the right to file cross petition because there are also areas in my local government for example, 15 units were cancelled due to the carelessness or collaboration or mischief of an Electoral Officer that was deployed to my local government knowing that, that is my stronghold.

Politics / Re: Accept Results, ECOWAS Observers Tell Candidates by mindurword(m): 12:04pm On Feb 26, 2019
AdewunmiF:
Accept results, ECOWAS observers tell candidates

The Economic Community of West African States Election Observation Mission has called on Nigerians who contested the presidential and National Assembly elections to accept the results in good faith.

The mission gave the advice in its preliminary report signed by its Head, Mrs Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, and made available to journalists on Monday.

“In the spirit of the commitment made in the peace accord of February 13, 2019, the mission urges the candidates to accept the verdict of the polls in good faith; and in case of complaints, to seek redress by legal means solely,” the report read.

It said the advice was one of the preliminary conclusions it reached pending the declaration of final results by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The group described the electoral process as largely peaceful.

It said, “The ECOWAS Observation Mission considers the electoral process was largely peaceful and transparent as voters were able to cast their votes freely.

“The mission commends the general public and voters for their patience and determination to exercise their civic responsibility.

“The mission calls upon INEC and other stakeholders to approach the final phases of the process with fairness and transparency until the announcement of the final results.”

It added, “The mission urges INEC to take steps to address the many shortcomings, including operational capacity and systems that were observed all through the process.”

“The mission appeals to party leaders, candidates, their supporters and the press to show tolerance and restraint leading up to and after the announcement of the results.”

The observer group commended the INEC and security agencies for what it called their dedication and professionalism.

“Finally, the mission congratulates the voters and the great and good people of Nigeria on the patriotism, tolerance, and sense of duty, which contributed to maintaining peace and stability in spite of the many challenges,” the report added.

If you still having it in mind that Buhari will defeat Atiku? Let me tell you why the elections were postponed if you don't know.
- two newspaper vans carrying 3million thumb printed ballot papers in favor of APC were intercepted at Ikorodu area of Lagos going to Enugu, to make a stop over at Onitsha, Aba and finally Enugu.
- four newspaper vans intercepted at Akure heading to Benin conveying 4million thumb printed votes to make a stop over at Bayelsa, Rivers and Warri
- 16 bags of already thumb printed 3.3million votes in favour of APC going to Kano. All of this concerns were raised by OBJ, Atiku and GEJ which Inec verified and found truth, Inec has no option even as buhari insisted last night inec should proceed, but US and EU observers intervened and inec made a postponment to further print new ballot papers and a different result sheet. So be wise... Buhari is going.
