Bro!!
If Osimhen was in form yesterday, he would have gotten a hat trick in the first half alone!!
These things happen in football..
Still, we take the 3 points
On to the next game!
yes naaa, we really knocking the door of their defense back to back yesterday….That rounding dribble by Akor in the first half was suppose to be a clean goal, that beating of the keeper by Osimhen that was later cleared to corner kick would have been a clean goal, that dribbling by Chukwu in the box 18 with a last touch on the ball going into the net by the defender would have been a clean goal, that Iwobi strike in the box 18 should be a goal, that chest down control and passing to Lookman by Osimhen suppose tear net…we suppose beat those guys with theese neat scoring chances

e pain me say the game ended 2-1 o

make una calm down oo😂…in as much as i was not happy we couldn’t score more goals against Tanzania, lets just believe super eagles are not te kinda team that statpad lesser opponents to them, but we must still look at it that Tanzania(28th in africa) is not in the class of Minnows oo, they senior Botswana(42nd) that was beaten by senegal by faaaaaar oo, even Burundi the likes of Aina,Ighalo etc struggle to beat in the 1-0 opener of afcon 2019….in 2013 we had no business drawing Burkina faso 1-1 in that opening game, them no b our mate, we suppose flog them

I've known it from day Done. He hasn't done anything significant on the team, and he's only reliant on the individual brilliance of Osimhen and Lookman, this is why we quickly turn into Burundi whenever Osimhen is out.

I'm surprised that JPs defensive tactics are outrageously underrated. Conceding only three goals with an unbeaten run enrout the final is highly remarkable.

Here they are again with jittery defense and weak midfield under Chelle. At this point JB is better
Sir make una calm down, this is first game…im sure you crucified jpes in our opening game VS Equitorial Guinea last edition 🤣…Tanzania and EQG na same whatsapp group dem dey…but we couldn’t beat them….

We will play better in our next game
not that we even played bad….we were just missing chances…Osimhen found the back of the net but was slightly offside

Philosopher1979:
Yeah. To get a good coach is easy. Just look at an African team that is well coached. The Tanzanian team is well coached. Get rhe coach for us. Chelle is just mediocre. 4 4 2 for 90 minutes is not really our best. We can only okay 4 4 2 for at most 60 minutes. Oliseh comments were very very accurate. We are victims of bad coaching. We are victims of bad coaching. We are victims of bad coaching. It's getting boring to say
we should get Tanzanian coach again🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣hahahahahahahaha Nairaland na Eff up place walai….same way we saw how Chelle did at last afcon we shouted get him! get him!!, now e don shit to Tanzania….
Comoros played well against Morocco, lets get their coach too
Benin played well against Drc lets go and get Rohr
Angola Played well against SA lets go and get heir coach
Zimbabwe gave Egypt a run for their money, lets go and get their coach…..

Tun 3-0 Uganda(see people wey i think say dem strong)
U see why i said most of this guys will prefer to play super eagles cos they feel they can run away with a draw or shocking win than playing these north africans🤣🤣
North Africa no dey smile on all these guys…..the way Tunisia will design this Tanzania ehhhn🤣🤣….Now watch uganda coming to form barca with us when we meet…..walai this thing dey really pain me ajeh🤦🏽‍♀️😠😠.

Osimhen should try and reduce that attitude of attempting to go physical with his tacklers on the pitch…crazy defenders might use that against him…..they will just simply tackle him and he will burst up on the player with either slapping or hitting the player, that one go just fall for ground dey roll like say na john cena punch am….next thing na red card to both Osimhen and the player after VAR review…..
Whenever he is tackled, i feel he should feign deep pain with rolling on the ground to attract ref giving his marker a yellow or red card, than standing up to fight

we played very badly and struggled to win Tanzania , i was expecting a 4:0 or 4:1 giving room for Nwabali's error .if we play like this against Tunisia , trust me , they will trash us .
bros Tunisia cannot trash us…let them trash uganda first…Tunisia is not Algeria,Morocco or even Egypt, them with Libya b the Ekuke teams of North africa

i see people complaining we played badly and all that...
makes me wonder the kind of fans we are.

one even said we wont go far.

yes we didnt play the best of games but there are some positive

we created chances
there was urgency at some point
and we got the 3 points ... not like we lost.

we should build on this opening 3 points and grow in the tournament.

fans we too like complain.
loss .... we complain
draw .... we complain
even as we win ...we still complain

or una think say tanzania sef no come with their own game plan?
try to filter and mention those complaining senselessly from those complaining objectively…my own take is that we should have put the game beyond reach…thank God we won and we have the 3points….but looking at how the game went, our attack did not nail those guys to their coffin….
you see what senegal did? result like theirs send fear to the next opponents

A sterner test awaits us in Tunisia. We have to improve by all means before then maybe adding another holding midfielder in place of an attacker

It is the department to rightly be wary of.

Frederick OUT
Aina OUT
And Ekong, from a leader's POV retired.

That is 3 legs in our defence missing. 2 are sure starters. That is half of our defence not available so the defensive look at the back was always gonna be shaky.
this is the first Afcon super eagles will b playing at without a leader factor

This echoes my sentiment too.

We had no business losing that Congo match if Chelle had been more tactically astute.

We had the game in out hand right from the 1st minute and then came the error that led to congo's goal and suddenly the players panicked and from then it was Congo all the way.

I loved Chelle but he did fall hand in that game. Obviously failed to prepare for penalties and was just improvising his tactics on the go.

What coach brings on a player as a substitute and later substitutes the same player?
Nwabalo was ready to win us that penalty, but our guys were not ready to play clean penalty…na that Bassey own vex me pass🤣🤣

Nigeria will be at the World Cup
Nigeria will dazzle in this AFCON
I see VO9 going through opponents' defences like a knife through butter.
A relatively unknown name will make a mark for Nigeria in this AFCON just like Sunday Mba did in 2013.

Get your notepads and take notes.
