2 types of super eagles annoying game pattern in 2025
1. Scores first and relax until opponents equalizes
Nig 1-0 Zim (Nig 1-1 Zim Ft)
Nig 1- 0 Gab (Nig 1-1 Gab ft) thank for extra time
Nig 1-0 DRC (Nig 1-1 DRC ft)
Nig 1-0 Jam( Nig 2-2 Jam ft)
2. Starts poorly, then when opponents takes the lead you will now see them doing gra gra to score back
- SA 1-0 Nig (SA 1-1 Nig ft)
- Egy 1-0 Nig( equalized 1-1 we still lost the match

In all this, I'll apportion most of the blame to the players.

We had so many lifelines during the qualifiers.

1. SA fielding an ineligible player, and the anticipated 3 points and 3 goals deduction. The team just had to win against Zimbabwe but we blew that chance.

2. Beat SA away. They couldn't do that too.

3. Win the African Play-Off qualifiers but they blew that too.

I doubt they even care as much as we the fans. do about going to the world cup.
omo they care oo, just that dem no good jare, lets tell ourselves the truth super eagles after afcon 2024 no too sabi play ball like that jare….DRC pin us to our box 18 in second half till full time extra time.

The team na off and on team jare

i will still path them on the back by saying they were tired in that game, coming off a 120mins football 3days earlier to play another 120 min football(but that excuse no gel well jare)
Drawing Zimbabwe and Lesotho at home spoilt everything, else deducting 3points from SA would have seen is through as table winners

super eagles and Ghana na same nonsense dem dey play🤣🤣…when i saw Ghana playing a draw against Chad and losing home and away to sudan at AfconQ, i just conclude say doz ones sef na eba🤣

I have always respected Sunday oliseh hs someone that knows football administration very well.
During South africa saga, oliseh said that FIFA might not deduct that 3point, I have forgotten the explanation he made on his podcast.
From that moment I just knew this guy is just a talkative, he doesn't know anything about football. Even a blind man knows that South africa will be deducted 3point. Oliseh suppose know about the rules and the laws of the game.
Sometime this people that talk too much, knows nothing about football.
shey same Oliseh that was all over the internet with this headline?
“South africa is in serious trouble”

As at right now. Osimhen is the only player yet to join the squad in camp. Osimhen is lucky he plays in an era where he is the most pivotal player. If not he should be sanctioned for gross misconduct and negligence. Thinking about it can Osimhen make the squad of the 90s super eagles teams ?
why not?….Osimhen style of play will 100% fix into the 90s super eagles team…only Osimhen go bench Yekini for that squad…infact Osimhen and yekini will drag starting 11 with Yekini….three things separating VO9 and Yekini is
1. Afcon trophy
2. World cup appearance
3. Highest goal scorer
Current super eagles team is really letting Osimhen down…

regarding him coming late to camp, he should be sanctioned abeg, cos even when we had excellent players if they do anyhow dem go face sanctions

Thé entire federation & structure need to go
Else forget about 2030 World Cup
This is not even a joke
Serious surgical intervention
You’d see in this Afcon, teams will no longer be scared of Nigeria & Cameroon
Old giants di ee off & give way to new ones
old giant can never die off…Brazil use to be formidable in 90’s and early 2000, they fell off radar in mid 2000 till date, but mk no african team pray to meet them in knockout stage, na die oo🤣..

Minfelix, DRC are through to the final. You can see we have a bunch of careless players who play for Nigeria
omo i was hugely disappointed…especially in that penalty shootout…Nwabali’s save suppose to hace given Simon and Ajayi ginger to wipe heavy shot that even if keeper touch am him wrist go bend

DRC will likely play two more games at the intercontinental playoffs, as they won't be seeded.

Call me petty and childish, but yes, I'm rooting for Jamaica, Panama and Costa Rica to finish as second place teams at the playoffs and hopefully knock out DRC. 🤧

I honestly think DRC only beat Cameroon and Nigeria because the latter two teams were absolutely trashbags.

I won't put it past Panama or Costa Rica to silence them in Mexico. Say what you want about them, but on average, CONCACAF teams are roughly similar to B-tier CAF teams like DRC, SA and Angola in terms of ability and physicality.
omo i stand with you ooo….I pray Panama,Costa rica qualifies

who are you going to support now at the world cup
Like this i will support any team playing against African teams oo….Africans are our greatest enemies in soccer, they are so jealous of our past successes….wetin make morocco dey flash laser on only Nigerians, were we playing against them….we remove Benin dey became our sworn enemies, they left SA, Gabon start dey support DRC, even Cameroon wey suppose support us dey support DRC wey remove them….at this point im no longer an african when it comes to soccer…im a Nigerian…nothing like “its time for africa” in my dictionary again…lets all african teams fail in Jesus name

Make all the African teams go to blazes. Senegal included.

Why root for them when ALL of them are comfortable joining hands together to root for our downfall?

The only thing that will satisfy me is the annihilation of African teams at the World Cup next year. I hope none of them makes it past the Round of 32.
im telling you at this point, it’s obvious no african country want our progress again…Like this now we dont want any brotherhood from anyone…nothing like support your fellow african brother….at this point im not even an african when i want to watch european play against any african team….i will so support anyteam aside african teams henceforth

Chelle which man?
The guy is not a good coach
If you are coming for Simon you should also do same to Chelle
bro let’s not b sentimental chelle is the man, it’s unfortunate he was outplayed…i really dont know the boys fell like pack of cards, i really dont know how they allowed congo build confidence…

bro lets remove sentiment and anger, if chelle had even picked up from jpes after our first 2 draws i dont see him losing away to Benin and maybe playing draw with SA, but he would have learnt his lesson and defeated zimbabwe in uyo…walai with that SA deduction we for don qualify direct tay tay…he only lost in Pk shootout, he is still unbeaten in 90mins as super eagles coach…even in 120 mins

Nwabali if yoj are reading this, God will bless you for keeping us in the game…both during the game and on penalties, you are a very calm goal keeper that tries to reduce pressure, dont mind any yeye person saying over confidence bla bla bla…the last save you made before the penalty shows you are big game goalkeeper….your players let you down when you keep giving us hope in the PK shootout..

i know penalties is anyones game, however i expected Strikers and DM,to take penalties…Akor,Tolu,Onyeka,Ejuke…coach for sub in Ekong, tyats the only confident pk defender taker.

Though we were totally outplayed from the second half till the extra-time…bassey,benjamin and Nwabali kept us till the shootout
