Where is the picture.

It is looking like they won't train today. NFF better start looking for npfl players to represent them and loss woefully....

Or we have walkover tomorrow.

This is so painful but we move... Another disappointing moment for most fans... We move. The players should boycott the afcon too

This is so crazy. The players should have done this for the badge and players....
I'm pained
just same way Equitorial Guinea boycotted their last qualifying match vs Malawi…lets see if that will happen to us

The fact that you can confidently ask this question leads me to believe that engaging you in a proper debate could be a waste of time. I'll have to teach you the history of the NFF, as well as the history of military rule, then wait for you to come to predictable conclusions by yourself. Thankfully, minfelix has saved me beforehand from wasting my saliva with a crucial example

Lol. Comments like this amuse me. You've allowed our footballing exploits in the 90s to deceive you. NFA/NFF has always been like this. We just had players who were more concerned about putting their personal legacy before anything else. We had players with so much competitive pride, they wouldn't pass up an opportunity to assert their footballing dominance anywhere, in spite of the predatory organization called the NFF.
them no no no say since after British left Nigeria it has always being a corrupt country….
immediately we gained independence in 1960….some thieves don dey plan coup how dem go take dethrone Aguiyi ironsi, another one dey think how he kpai muritala mohammed to take over, another dey plan coup of how he go overthrow Shehu Shagari, another one they plan how he go anulled june 12 election…another enter one rule from 1993 to till forever, thank God say dem give werey apple to chop make he cross to otherside, una come still transit to Democrathief a period were the stealing will now be a honourable stealing….

oga Nigeria has been bad for the past 60+ years

The players and coaches have just been playing for their name and legacy and for fans love not for Nigeria government….there was not a time we had a “no corrupt NFF”

The only individual I pity amidst this whole debacle is Eric Sekou Chelle.

The man has fought hard to qualify against all odds just for everything to go to waste now because of routine Nigerian madness and chaos.
asin eeehnnn Chelle really fought his way into this playoff…ahaaan people are so “Effingly” irritating here with there comment…even with Osimhen 3-0 lead against Benin, elimination was jus staring at us, it took him to read the game brought up Onyeka and then boom we are into the playoff….same thing against Lesotho…that game was heading for a draw, until he read the game and brought in Akor to patner Osimhen, boom goals started coming…
Chelle is A$$ nye nye nye….Chelle is clueless nya nya nya….very fuggingly insatiable people…if guardiola dey coach us na same thing wey chelle dey do he go still do las las

you guys are very insatiable im not suprised…check all the coaches handling those teams you guys are making noise about, its either they are of same pedigree with chelle or he is better than them…but if NFF employs any of those coaches coaching CIV,Morocco,Egypt,Senegal….people like you will not be satisfied if they play goalless draw or win by low margin…but you people will always be quick to come and glorify their teams becos they beat minnows 7-0….

Oya prove that chelle with 9games so far is not a good coach….prove it!!!

We use results to assess a coach, if results are coming bad we will speak up, if we are getting good results then the coach is doing a good job….you all shld RESSTT!!!

You are simply hating on Chelle because NFF employed him…you are totally wrong if you think as bad as the NFF they have always given us bad coach, then you are “Effingly” wrong….same rotten and highly criticized NFF gave us a certain stephen Keshi….

NFF is corrupt we agree, but they have given us coach that has ensured that you all are trooping into this place to read hope msgs that we can beat Gabon

O

U did unbeaten against low budget teams and u dey brag u😂😂😂😂
Dont make me laugh pls.

Teams like Morrocco, Tunisia Egypt , ivory coast senegal will not just Do unbeating againt those teams , they will do CLEAN SHEET, UNBEATEN, AND HIGH GOAL AGGREGATE.

Mind u im not blaming the payers but ur A$$ Coach. Because we have good players to beat any team in africa.
Chelle is tactically inept and i can prove it anywhere, only those with Zero ball knowledge dont know this.
But im a patient man so lets wait for things to become simpler to your on level of ball knowledge before u will agree.

So leta wait.
oga make we hear word abeg….when did chelle join the team that he should start dispatching low buget teams….all the Tunisia,Egypt,CIV,Senegal, how did they fair against teams that pose a threat against them…no b so so 1-0, 1-0, 0-0 dem dey play up and down…
Sen 0-0 Togo
Sud 0-0 Sen
Sen 1-1 Drc

CIV 1-0 Gam
Kenya 0-0 CIV
Civ 1-0 Gabon

Egypt 0-0 Bfaso

Malawi 0-1 Tun
Tun 1-0 E-guinea

why dem no fit dispatch these teams with 4-0, 5-0, 7-0, 8-0….na only whne dey see djibouti and somalia there power they wake….
Chelle met a table topper Benin and wire them 4-0…bring any of your glorifying teams that defeated their close rival 4-0 upward make i see…

Chelle started by dispatching all the teams topping him with good good score line, when he took over Rwanda,Benin and SA were ahead of us…with exception of SA, Benin and Rwanda were handsomely beaten by Chelle…not with mumu 1-0 or 0-0 draw oo….God save Lesotho say they have played 1match already against us on Uyo, return leg for no funny for them….

once again rest abeg…free chelle alone and make we hear word
Make CIV beat Kenya,Gambia and Gabon wey dey there group 4-0 upwards
Make Senegal beat DRC, Togo and Sudan wey dey their group 4-0 upwards
Make Tunisia beat Malawi, EQG, Liberia wey dey their group 4-0 upwards
Make Egypt beat B/faso,G/bissau,S/leone wey dey their group 4-0 upwards

not by “stronging” preeq when they see Somalia,Djibouti, Sychelles bla bla bla

The only distraction that will make my hope drop to 20% on this world cup qualification is when key players(Ekong,Osimhen,Lookman,Simon,Iwobi,Bassey,Frederick) altogether picks up a fight with the coach then its done!!! as for now nothing to shake me….in the Lekki toll gate massacre we saw youth revolting against the government in one accord to achieve a course…except say super eagles say they are not playing the match again tomorrow…then e don be for us b that…na to just fly in Rivers united and Abia warrior boys to morocco this evening to go and collect 4-0 from aubameyang 🤣🤣

Iwobi posted another video clarifying his intention wasn't malicious. This however doesn't change the fact that the hotel isn't where the Super Eagle's should be lodge. I'll admit it wasn't as bad as initially thought, but it also isn't great. Just a quick search on Google will show multiple bad reviews from other users. The hotel apparently has a night club that blasts music into the night, that isn't the kind of environment the players should be in. I would hope the NFF would have spoken to the hotel management about this.

Of more importance in my opinion is the fact that the video released shows the hotel has molds on the ceiling. Molds are hazardous and could potentially affect the health of players.
that thing look like moulds at the same time another section of my brain is interpreting it as the celine design, maybe all this 3D celine paper or POP celine design 🤣🤣….if na mould thats a very dangerous parasite oo

Lol yh I get.

Don't get me wrong, Cameroon have been our biggest rivals for a long time, but to be honest I feel like they've been a shell of their past selves over the past few years, almost like the SE.

As for overall rivalries, I think Ghana is the only team I'm ALWAYS concerned about whenever our senior teams clash, because you can never really guess how the game will go as we're so similar in many ways. No side ever truly has the advantage over the other lol.

I'm also jittery about North African teams for obvious reasons.

Ivory Coast is often hit or miss like Cameroon but recently they've been on top form, so yes I guess facing them now would make me anxious. Although I'd be much more afraid of Senegal now. I still insist that fatigue was our undoing in the last AFCON finals. We'd have beaten Ivory Coast a second time. Even with the tired legs, we almost did.

South Africa is a weird case because while they've been decent recently, I don't think they've ever really been able to punish us -- which is something a lot of our top rivals (Ghana, Cameroon) have been able to do occasionally. And that's why I don't always feel comfortable calling it a rivalry. A win rate of 90% isn't really a rivalry, speaking from statistics.

Until they can beat us at least twice or thrice in the next 5-6 matches, I'll always look at SA games like Nigeria vs Argentina. We always play against each other, but no matter how tight that fixture is, or how good both teams play, you can almost always bet who'll come out on top lol. Highest na draw.

But jokes aside, as a Super Eagles fan these days, it's easy to be jittery about literally ANY team we face, even if it's Botswana, because of how unexpectedly disappointing our performance can be sometimes. Who would have thought that we would lose to Central Africa Republic or Rwanda, for instance? Or draw with Zimbabwe in a crucial World Cup qualifying match?

So I totally understand why people would be afraid of Gabon.

All I know is that we are going to the world cup
it depends on the team we are facing sha…in tournaments rival teams usually get the better of us…check all the teams that defeated us at afcon final or semifinal, you will see that they are teams that holds terrible rivalry with us….the 3afcons we have its only Algeria(that i will consider as a formidable team presently) the rest Zambia and B/faso pose no threat to us at crucial games….the game against Benin, i did over 4.5 in on my tickets na Rwanda scatter that ticket, i put x2 for them🤣

I wasn't worried about SA before we faced them but they surprised me with their performance.

I know I was also nervous going into the finals but I can't decide if it was because of Ivory Coast as a team or just the overall nervous excitement of getting to the AFCON finals.
omo our rivalry with cameroon unending ooo….
You see anytime a rival match is looming it’s always dicey and trembling oo
Nig vs Gha
Nig vs Cam
Nig vs SA(currently, though not regarded as our rival, but they are now forcing it) so it always create tension

The way we will cruise pass that Gabon eehn, e go shock people…the cruising here na just give them 2-0 and move on…Eric Chelle super eagles is a deadly one with or without osimhen, his major bane is our defensive errors against Zim,Lesotho and SA….so far oo i just have lil form of relaxation with his team…even the midfield people are always gnashing teeth here on is very good and formidable….go and watch super eagles highlights since eric chelle took over, then you will ask why have not been stamping teams with 3-0,4-0,5-0 on match days
-against Ghana at Unity Cup(it was tense 60-40 game)
-against Jamaica, chukwueze was just mesmerizing that midfield free role(but our defense was just conceding)
-against Zimbabwe in uyo, why we didn’t beat those guys 4-0 still baffles me
-against Rwanda in kigali, we pinned and press there neck tire and fold 2blows on their face
-against Rwanda in uyo, Ntwari turn to prime buffon, cos that game we pin their papa till final whistle
-against Lesotho same thing, it was towards the end our defense and nwabali decide to snooze
-against SA in Al-shabab pitch, even without Osimhen we played them clean clean
-let me not talk about Benin…

just calm down go and watch extensive highlights of these matches and see how Chelle teams is playing deadly…..
