im so happy for victor osimhen a direct product of Nigeria’s youth team in 2015 and he has remained relevant for 10 years running
started his club career on a slow start playing just 14 matches in Germany, move to Belgium and started tearing nets, graduates to France remained high flying, upgraded to Italy to shatter record, now combing turkey…in this space of 10years some 1season wonder striker go don fade off “HARD WORK+ TALENT”

till today FIFA never still see who go break him 10goals record set at u17…if Osimhen get signed for team with high pedigree like
Madrid
Barca
Mancity
Chelsea
ManU
Juve
PSG
Bayern Munich….na to just dey win UCL and League cups back to back

There are thousands of Osimhen on the street pls NFF wake up….sadly osimhen has not played at the FIFA world cup, if not for his inconsistency at Wolfburg he would have gone to the 2018 WC

No amount of rewritting of history will change the fact bro.
Mikel used to refused call ups to the national team.
Tuface Idibia sang it in only me
"I know say e no be everybody e sabi play ball
But arise, o compatriot, if Nigeria call"
bros go and read the reson why tuface had that line in his song, no b about wether mikel they refuse call up or not…
2006 afcon(was present)
2008 afcon qualifiers(was suspended in 2007 because una and una NFF no wan gree say he get injury)
2008 Afcon(person una suspend still came and was present)
2010 Afcon and World cup qualifiers (played 5games out of the 6matches)
2010 Afcon(was present)
2012 Afcon qualifiers (played 5games missed 1)
2013 afcon qualifiers (played both legged play off)
2013 Afcon(was present)
2014 WC qualifiers (he played everything)
2014 WC(he was there running the midfield with onazi)
2015 Afcon qualifiers (he played all games but we no qualify under keshi)
2017 Afcon qualifiers (was present the game away in egypt and home in kaduna he played both and other matches in that qualifiers under siasia)
2018 WCQ (he was present in all the games)
2018 WC(he was present)
2019 qualifiers he was already fading off super eagles cos new boys were springing up…Gernot rohr sat him on the bench all through Afcon 2019(maybe he played 1 game i can’t remember)

bros bottom line, a player that had 91 caps was never selecting games, so if he is injured he should come and kill himself and not excuse himself abi….im sure 10/15yrs from now una type will call Osimhen unpatriotic for his brawl with finidi…they wont do their findings they will just follow social media agenda

tactics wise he was too damn perfect against Yaya in that game because if u rewatch that game you will understand that late keshi gave him that responsibility to nullify yaya’s threat which he did perfectly

The game against Spain he was given the license to roam around as a number 10
-Mikel through Pass to Musa in Nigeria 4-1 demolition at afcon 2013
-Mikel through pass to ighalo in Nigeria 4-0 demolition of cameroon in WCQ 2017
- Mikel long pass to Ideye to Emenike in Nigeria’s 1-1 against burkina faso
-Mikel through pass to Mohammed Gambo that was gambled

you see this 4, they are the best of Mikel for me as a midfield generalissimo

Those passes he makes with the outside of his foot are pure class, and we have not been seeing such class in a long while in super eagles…those pass styles are also unique with Jay Jay….Iwobi is trying but not close to Mikel’s control of the midfield

Mikel started taking national call ups seriously when he wasn't no longer first choice for Chelsea.
During Mikel younger days, I'm talking from about 06-2010 he used to snub call ups.
Like I said I can't take them nighas seriously
no naaa bros,2006 Mikel scored his first afcon goal in group stage against Zimbabwe…he was suspended from super eagles in 2007, after sighting that he had injury but because he didn’t turn in to be checked by Nigerian medical team….he came back in 2008 and played in afcon (we all know how manipulative European coaches can be, especially when they have an indispensable rare gem in their team, they will always force and threaten them to ignore national team call up else they will loose their spot)
traced back to 2010 mikel had an injury that ruled him out of fifa world cup(who no go wan play for world cup) but he was involved in the qualifiying matches from 2008 to 2009
Keny 2-3 Nigeria
Nig 2-2 Tunisia
Moz 0-0 Nig
Tun 0-0 Nig
His high profile year of winning UCL with chelsea
2012, mikel was involved in the afcon qualifiers
Nig 2-0 Madagascar
Ethiopia 2-2 Nigeria
Nig 4-0 Ethiopia
Madagascar 0-2 Nigeria
Nig 2-2 Gui(the final match that ousted us from afcon in abuja)
so he was also involved in our qualifiers from 2010 to 2011
Afcon 2013 qualifiers he was also available in the 2-legged play off against Liberia that qualifed us
Liberia 2-2 Nigeria
Nigeria 6-1Liberia
Mikel gave his best for Nigeria oo forget o

Okocha and his likes are hypocrites. Same Okocha that used to select matches and refused call-ups to the Super Eagles. Same Okocha that refused to play in the 06 AFCON claiming fake injury....

Even Mikel, who doesn't remember the days where he refused call-ups which was the major issue between him and Siasia.

I can't take this guy's seriously tbh
bros as at 2006 Okocha was already don with super eagles…he cant play forever….his last game was against CIV in 2006 Afcon where we lost 1-0 in the semifinal to a drogba stolen offside goal .
73 caps for super eagles he tried b that, no b everyone go play 100caps

Mikel Obi 91 caps, just 9 away from being capped 100 someone that sponsored olympic team in 2016, someone that had issue with Antonio conte just to pleas siasia by following him to the Olympic in 2016..…these two players u singled out are one Nigeria’s outstanding player that gave their all to super eagles…you should be looking another player to single out not these two

Aliou Cisse is not even who they should emulate…Keshi should be a big role model to emulate…A Nigerian coach who used the smaller teams to make a big name for himself and then became super eagles coach….Cisse already use Senegal to build his CV which is same thing some of our legend are trying to do…Reason why they are lurking around

Worst case scenario, Rwanda will play deep defensive game to survive with a draw and move to 8points…there is no way we are losing in Kigali…if they come out to play us…then the refree should get ready to start canceling Lookman’s goal in front of Kagame

the coach is just stupid trying to push blame. 3goals down already at half time. Even if the match has ended 3all, they had still be out.
omo his speech was so so so unnecessary and unprofessional…more like say na Lookman no make dem progress to next stage…lookman was injured in first leg and he watched club brugge flogging his team 2-1, he came back from injury you still bench am(reason well understood), he still sat on the bench watching club brugge flogging his team 3-0 on home soil…baba came on in 35seconds boom tear net…even if he is not the penalty taker, all indications were that the guy is back to his red hot form and should be allowed to take that penalty, wether he will score or not…who no dey lose penalty…very stewpid coach

Lookman please don’t allow Nigerians or the devil to allow you to revolt against your club and demarket yourself . As a professional, you shouldn’t be picking the ball when you’re not the designated penalty taker and although I don’t agree with your coach public outrage but you should resolve it internally. The coach might had said that to reduce pressure on him

LESSONS FROM AFCON 2023!

✍️ Ivory Coast lost two out of three group matches but still made it to the final. They had a second chance and made the most of it. Life will sometimes give you a second chance—don’t waste it. Never give up on yourself!

✍️ Ivory Coast suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat against Equatorial Guinea, yet they reached the final while Equatorial Guinea got eliminated. Victory today doesn’t make you the best, and defeat today doesn’t mean the end. Never write anyone off, and never look down on someone just because you beat them once!

✍️ Ivory Coast needed Morocco to defeat Zambia to qualify. Morocco helped them but was later eliminated. Some people who cheer for you today may not be your true friends—they might just be using your success for their gain. Be wise; don’t let anyone exploit you for benefits that don’t serve you.

✍️ The South African goalkeeper saved four penalties against Cape Verde and became overconfident. They hoped for a penalty shootout against Nigeria, expecting the same result. Yet, against Nigeria, he couldn’t stop a single penalty, while the Nigerian goalkeeper saved two and won Man of the Match. Confidence is good, but overconfidence can be your downfall. Stay humble and prepared.

✍️ Nigeria scored a second goal that was disallowed due to an earlier foul, leading to a penalty for South Africa. Just when you think all hope is lost, life can offer you a surprising turnaround. Your setback may be setting you up for a comeback.

✍️ Senegal remained unbeaten in the group stage but got eliminated by Ivory Coast, a team that lost two matches. Success isn’t always about how well you start but how well you finish.

✍️ Defenders focused on stopping Victor Osimhen, disallowing four of his goals, but they overlooked Ademola Lookman. Sometimes, your real challenge isn’t the obvious one. Be strategic—your greatest opportunity may come from an unexpected source.

✍️ Kelechi Iheanacho didn’t play in the first five matches but came in late in the sixth game and became the hero. Sometimes, all you need is one moment, one opportunity. If you get just one chance to make an impact, make it count!

📌 “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
Ecclesiastes 9:11

👉 Time and chance = Preparation meeting opportunity.
