Ppogbae: It's an admirable victory. The gulf between smaller countries and established football nations has decreased considerably and Benin are a testament to that trend. Just look at how Georgia whipped Czechia.
We hope to restore complete confidence with a dominant win over Rwanda. Benin has always been stubborn to Super eagles this is the first time we beating with over 3clean goals…its always been 2-0,1-0,2-1,1-0 in 6meetings |

COOL10: Na laugh I just dey laugh you since. In Chinewtalu Agu's voice, everything you wrote up there is YAN YAN POO.
Where were you when I said that Rohr should have been sacked after the 2018 World Cup? Where were you when I said that Rohr should have been sacked after the 2019 AFCON? Like I said earlier, your expertise is based on fallacy upon fallacy, false assumption upon false assumption and an arrant disregard for the achievements of those you don't like.
You talk about Peseiro and Keshi because you have nothing to talk about. You're simply looking for filler words, so it'll look like you're saying something smart, but you're not. My argument has nothing to do with Keshi and Peseiro. It's with Eguavoen. Shifting the goal post doesn't make you smart; it only exposes your inability to remain on the topic of discourse.
No offence, but you calling Rohr's victories at home and draws away a fluke simply shows that you have a very poor understanding of football. I beat you for my home, and I come draw for your home; how is that a fluke? Do you even know the meaning of a fluke? You even called Zambia's AFCON victory a fluke. Do you know what it means to defeat a star studded Ivorian team in an AFCON final? I know about three Zambians on this forum, but they rarely comment. I'm sure they'll feel very appalled if they were to see your comment. You should apologize. Again, it shows your very poor understanding of football, hence why I said there's no difference between you and those in the NFF destroying our football.
Like I said earlier, hate who you want to hate, but no dey use fallacies and sentiments cover am. Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. Give credit to whom credit is due.
I dey wait for your counter argument, but please let it be intelligent this time, for the sake of my eyes i dont argue alot here, but i know people like you, when they don use hit you with wide fact from some appendages as references, you go start dey look for how to victimize your opponent with some big big grammar 🤣😂🤣 on the argument.. 1. Bros you and i know there are teams that come on a stroke of luck and enjoy a fairy tale run to the trophy..it happened to iceland in one of the euro tournaments…since zambia won 2012 afcon, have you seen any meaningful thing they have done for the past 10yrs+, they have gone back to their underdog status in Africa…if any zambian here reading want to feel offended thats their cup of tea..they also know they have gone down so badly. No african powerhouse can win and go don so badly for more than 10yrs..Nigeria won 2013 and didn’t qualify for 2015,2017 and came back in 2019 to reach semifinals (thats like 6yrs recess) Egypt won last in 2010 and didn’t qualify for 2012,2013,2015 but came back in 2017 to reach the final…thats a powerhouse record…no Zambia…their Afcon 2012 win was purely a fairytale run…Just like Leicester city from relegation to Epl trophy…where leicester dey now 2. Bros your argument has nothing to do with Keshi amd peseiro, but some elements from their coaching stint with super eagles is needed to also counter your “rohr did this did that” i tried to bring them in because they are coaches that has stayed with eagles longer than eguavoen as a coach 3. if you like call my understanding poor bla bla bla, i wont feel offended, fallacy or no fallacy, rohr(although highly respected by me) but dont come and tell me sh**t that he is better than eguavoen thats always on the tight end to save Nigeria….dem no born your gernor rohr well to get employed in October/November and walk straight to afcon group stage in Janua to record a 100% result on two occasions(2006 and 2021) beatin opponents with wide margin…no some mumu 1-0 and parking the bus and also playing draw… make Eguavoen’s lead sierra leone 4-0 for Nigeria make i see how dey will equalize 4-4, to an Eguavoen that has been driving the seat for 3years… |

COOL10: "If this, if that, If this, If that. If this happened, that wouldn't have happened; If this didn't happen, that would have happened." Guy, you're talking hypothesis, I'm talking facts. Your obsession with false assumptions is too evident.
You said that Rohr would have failed against Ghana just like Eguavoen did. That's very laughable because if there's anything that Rohr proved to Nigerians, it's his undeniable ability to qualify us for tournaments WITH EASE, something his predecessors failed at woefully.
Under Gernot Rohr, not for once did Nigerians bring out calculators to check our chances of qualifying. Rohr defeated Cameroon(Then African Champions), 4-0, beat Algeria(3-1) and defeated Zambia (Former African Champions) 1-0, to qualify for the 2018 World Cup, so who the fvck is Ghana that Rohr wouldn't have destroyed?
You said a good coach would have taken the inexperienced team that Rohr took to the 2019 AFCON to the final, so now I ask, if you really believe that, why did Eguavoen get knocked out of the Round of 16 of the 2021 AFCON? No be the same players him carry with few additions? Why dem knock am out like thief wey dem catch for market? According to your standards, it means Eguavoen is not a good coach. He's terrible.
Stop trying to cover up the failures of Eguavoen. Millions of Nigerians, home and abroad witnessed his stinking incompetence. He was given two jobs that required him to win the AFCON and qualify us for the World Cup and he failed terribly at them. He couldn't even get us the final of the AFCON, at least that would have saved him some time.
Rohr on the other hand met all the expectations given to him by the NFF.He reached the Round of 16 of the 2018 World Cup and qualified us to the 2019 AFCON semi final. He also qualified us for the 2021 AFCON that Eguavoen got disgraced out of. When last did Nigeria get knocked out of an AFCON Round of 16? Shame no dey catch una?
Hate Rohr all you want, but I won't stay here and watch you shiiit on his achievements. And you're wrong, no be till 2030 we go drag this matter, because I ready to drag am TILL KINGDOM COME!!!!! The question is : ARE YOU READY? 🤣 Rohr qualified us for the round of 16 at the 2018 WC?🤣🤣🤣 i give up…this one no even get proper fact of who he dey defend, no b only round of 16…cant you see that rohr took us to the final of 2018 WC…yeye🤣….You suppose to shame for your rohr wey dey take 3years just to play first afcon amd win bronze…na less than 1year peseiro need to enter Afcon final…oga no dey use “he qualify us with game to spare bla bla dey disturb us… The question remain “did Eguavoen or has Eguavoen been given such donkey years given to rohr to coach SE? He won Algeria bla bla He won cameroon bla bla , He won Zambia bla bla, why he no fit go their homes go beat them hands down make we know say he was a formidable coach, abeg abeg abeg dont come and bore me wit he beat Zambia home and away(thats what eguavoen’s would have also done, to those fluke afcon 2012 winners) You know how many top teams Eguavoen’s swept aside on our way at the Afcon 2006? (Ghana former Afcon champions, Senegal 2002 world cup quarterfinalist, Tunisi former afcon champions) see as he is even defending rohr qualification to afcon like say na new thing…Peseiro is far better sef than rohr achievement-wise. Im using If If If If because your NFF has decided to always rubbish him by bringing him at tight corners, Eguavoen’s has never started to coach Nigeria on smooth and relaxed platter just like rohr….Them give person job for 2016 only to achieve bronze medal for 2019 and you want us to continue with such mediocrity in 2021..tufiakwa!! God forbid. No b people be westerhorf wey dem give job for 1989 and reach final in 1990 Afcon, and still reach semifinals in 1992 afcon(bronze) and still won afcon for 1994 afcon and still pushed super eagles to r16 of 94 world cup? No be person be Keshi wey dem give job for 2012 and qualified us to 2013 afcon and won it and also push us to r16 of 2014 WC? oga no dey disturb us with rohr yen yen yen🤣🤣, ue qualified us with game to spare going to his formidable opponents home ground to go and park the bus and be playing draw just to qualify with fluke record…..them no tell you gist of Eguavoen’s going to Algeria home to wire(a former Afcon champion) 5-2 on a WC qualifying game? still catch Zimbabwe for our home wire them another 5-1…. Give Eguavoen’s that 3years they gave your rohr, lets see whether we wont qualify to tournaments after playing games….there’s no way i will feel pained by you taunting Eguavoen’s for not progressing to 2022 WC ahead of Ghana and progressing deeper at the 2021 afcon. Give him the job on a long term plan and see football.. na you sabi and your hate analysis, you and who resemble who dey hate person…we go argue am dieee…lets gooo🕺 |

COOL10: No offense, and it's really difficult for me to say this because I respect a lot of people on this thread, but the way some of you talk on this thread can make a new born baby seem smart. It's because of people like you that our football is in the current rot it's in. Na people like you dey NFF glass house dey destroy our football.
Which one is Eguavoen used one year to give us bronze and Rohr used three years? How many tournaments were available to Rohr during his tenure?
Rohr was appointed in 2016 and before he was appointed, Nigeria failed to qualify for back to back AFCON editions (2015 and 2017). The man brought the Super Eagles out of the grave by qualifying for the 2019 AFCON after his predecessors couldn't do so twice, and you're saying Eguavoen A.K.A "You know Guardiola" is better than him?
A lot of the players Rohr used in 2019 were playing in the AFCON for the first time. Can you compare them to the seasoned players that were available to Eguavoen when he won a bronze?
If Eguavoen was so good, why did we get knocked out in the Round of 16 of the 2021 AFCON by Tunisia's second eleven, even when he used the same players that Rohr used to win a bronze in 2019?
If Eguavoen was so good, why couldn't we qualify for the 2022 World Cup, something that Genort Rohr did so seamlessly by defeating African Giants at that time, like Cameroon, Algeria and Zambia. Oh, lest I forget, he also qualified with A GAME TO SPARE. 😲
It's okay to hate, but make una dey hate with facts. Make sure you have facts to back up your hatred.
As long as people like you continue to rubbish Rohr's efforts, people like me will always be available to call out your BS and nah long epistles like this one I go dey use quote una. there is no way i will read this and not reply you…we go drag this arguement enter 2030..ok let me start by saying 1. the first bolded; is not necessary ok, come clean with clean arguement and dont try to use shading language else the respect you say you have for people on this thread will be vain and in the mud, cos uve disrespected already 2. second bolded; Eguavoen jus also came into the fray in 2005 and led us to a bronze medal in 2006 which was his first major tournament(it means if he had stayed 3years before afcon 2006 who knws where we would reached) your rohr stayed 3years before afcon 2019, he has even gathered experience from 2018 WC as a coach no b so?) 3. you think if rohr was employed on that same emergency basis of 2022 WCQ he would have scaled through Ghana?…bros las las na draw he go play with ghana, which was what Eguavoen did 4. A lot of players rohr took to afcon were playing for the first time, fine we agree, but oga those guys were playing top level football week in week out, we assembled our best players to that afcon, not as if we carried amateurs (which more praises should be given to late keshi on that regard) and again you cant compare world cup to afcon, same squad that went to the world cup were the ones that played 2019 Afcon, so even without rohr a good coach would still have taken our player even to the Afcon final 5. we respect rohr highly for qualifying us to the Afcon after missing two editions, but stop making it look as if, if rohr had not come we wont qualify for Afcon again…we missed afcon in 2012 and then a Nigerian came and qualify us for 2013 edition. 6. “if eguavoen was good why cant he take super eagels past round 16”…if e sure for NFF make them sack Eguavoen after “probably” qualifying for afcon 2025 and bring in rohr lets see where he will take us to i use to support rohr when he was our coach…but make all of ina rest, he was not our best coach ever. If he was good he for still qualify us to world cup 3round qualifiers with A GAME TO SPARE….shey for group stage wey cape verde wan use our eyes see pepper |
