Why it's very needful and instructive that the just delivered judgement by the Appeal Court on the PEPT be appeal to the Apex Court.
We want and wish the Supreme Court to equally affirmed that;
1. INEC has the right not to transmite election result electronically
2. That 25% of votes in FCT is a facade and not a Contitutional requirement before anyone can be adjudged as a winner in a Presidential contest in the Country.
3. That the provisions as contained in the 2022 amended Electoral Act is useless, and a worthless piece of document.
4. That issues of double nomination of candidates during elections is, and should be an integral part of our electoral system.
5. That INEC has absolute right to, and can rightly shift the goal post in the middle of any match it conduct.
6. That a case forefieture whether civil or criminal is against a property and not against the person (the owner).
These and many more grey areas are the very dangerous precedent that, we wish, pray and want the Apex Court to affirmed and upheld when the case get to them, so that this whole absurdity, will formally, and officially becomes institutionalized for future references and citations.
