Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has gone to Dubai for Omo Ghetto The Saga premiere, Igbere TV reports.

The 43-year-old shared a picture of herself in an Omo Ghetto customized shirt on Instagram on Tuesday.

On Monday Funke shared a video of herself, husband and twins on the plane.

In January, Funke announced that Omo Ghetto will be setting the record of being the first Nigerian movie to be released in UAE, Dubai cinemas.



Omo Ghetto (The Saga) was produced by Funke and her husband JJC Skillz born Abdulrasheed Bello.

The movie was premiered at EbonyLife Place, Lagos on December 20.

Chioma Akpotha, Eniola Badmus, Bimbo Thomas, RMD, Bovi among others shinned at the premiere.

Starring a lot of Nollywood stars, it was released in Nigeria cinemas on December 25, 2020.

Its prequel Omo Ghetto was released in 2010 starring Funke Akindele, Eniola Badmus, Bimbo Thomas, Adebayo Salami, Bose Adewoyin, Rachel Oniga, Taiwo Hassan and Yinka Quadri.

The movie is based on the life of two identical twins separated at birth, one of whom belongs to a violent female gang.

A President can't be inciting violence. Donald Trump can. The tweet was only deleted because it was inciting further violence after the attack on the Capitol.
That's is more about preserving America's democracy than controlling what the President says.
Like the Ambassadors cacus said to the state department, you can't be preaching democracy and dishing out sanctions on foreign states and people while you're condoning the same thing.
That aside... what about the job of the Press secretary that write speeches for the President or stop the President from answering some impromptu questions from journalist. Does that also qualify as controlling what the President says.

the account of the President of the United States is @POTUS. it's still live. It's Donald Trump personal account that was banned. First the account was suspended for 12hrs and he was asked to remove 3 tweets that incite violence which led to the attack on the Capitol. Then he was warned that future violation will lead to permanent ban. First tweet after getting his access back was to insinuate that it's not over that this is just the beginning hence there permanent ban!
Before coming for Twitter, sit down and think this through. The President passively aided an attack on the Capitol (Seat of American Democracy) while Congress was in session. if those guys were armed, the situation would have amount to treason. Just think it through, the Executive attacking the Legislative arm of Government in a Democracy. Someone had to be held responsible

I'm fully aware of the role Trump's tweets played.
What I am saying is that, even the @POTUS account. All tweets Trump made from it are being deleted. He has over 33m followers and that's his medium of reaching them.
I know he violated Twitter's term but deleting tweets from the @POTUS account shouldn't be the decision of a private company. It should be that of the Parliament
