wizzie001: A clear cut case(bankable) indeed... but in the president's address, he has warned all interested party to withdraw court cases immediately, he further threatened there will be consequences if they fail to adhere.
The question is....... who will want to go against the president's directive in this era of lawlessness? When the court has gone to the dogs?
The president has no legal right to threaten anyone of any consequences when the APC constitution is written in black and white. If some people feel left out in today's decision they'll go to court. Las, las. APC will implode.
The president is the president of Nigeria not the president of APC. He can't force his interest on the party.
Mightyhaiz: the problem of africans is making and worshipping strong men.
What Africa needs are strong institutions ,not strong men,.. barrack Obama 2011!
as strong as bush,Clinton,Thatcher,,Reagan etc were, did u see them appointing who will govern and who will not both at states, county and federal levels? use ur tongue count your teeth.. don't be a dumb slave for life... atleast for the sake of ur unborn generation
Nigerian politicians are just wicked and evil people. In saner climes wealthy people support political campaigns and make demands. Even sometime they make selfish demands. But not to the point of making it an habit and the demand hurting the population. It's only in Nigeria you'll see a governor signing a gazette out of his own personal gratification. But what do we see, people supporting them too. Someone will be held for embezzling public fund and you'll see some of us protesting in his support. I don't see any hope in sight for us
Cvesta: Do not say what you don't know.. Oshomole had no hand in bringing apc to Edo state. Infact he was in Labour when AC and later ACN was formed
You still haven't state the fact I asked you to provide 1. Who was the first governor of ACN? 2. What political offices was ACN holding in Edo b4 Oshiomole? 3. How many political offices was ACN holding when Oshiomole /ACN merged to form APC?
Answers to these questions will clear every doubt in your mind. But that's only if you're not on Obaseki's payroll
All our politicians are thieves in this country. I was worried when they go around calling the president the leader of the party and he too accepted that title. We didn't vote you to be the leader of politicians. We voted you to be Nigeria's president. Leave party affairs for those in charge of the party. In SA the party sacked the president and replaced him when he was erring. Are we serious about democracy in Nigeria at all?
Esseite: Reward is different from taking control... Oshiomole had taken control already, he had his people in the state house, he wanted to elect the speaker, he was seeking some key commissioner positions and huge contracts aswell... if Obaseki had not fought back, he would have been in perpetual blackmail like Ambode was.. it was not as if those whom he worked with or appointed were not APC members..
Can you support this with facts? Because this is what Oshiomole said
Esseite: All due respect was given to Tinubu, the Governors in their entourage went to him, not to plead but to relay their wish to him as a leader, he failed to see the clue.. he could have taken all glory if only they had their way.. The news could have read "Jagaban saves the day again" ... we would not blame him, he saw oshiomole in same shoes like he was with Ambode, but the Governors only saw a Godfather clipping wings.
I am sure you were not in Nigeria when Obaseki was hitting anyone that tries to settle the matter with court cases. Obaseki doesn't want to bend so it's Oshiomole that must bend? In politics, everyone that works for your success we want some reward. All Oshiimole told Obaseki is that he should reward Apc members instrumental to his election success. All the godfather noise is just propaganda
Esseite: The shock amongst Governors is, if Tinubu feels he can dictate who governs Edo, he might aswell displace all other governors when it's their turn..
This fight is between the Governors and Bourdillion... Ambode/Obaseki is one too many for them.
And their greatest fear which was the myth of decamping and ruining their careers has been shattered by Obaseki's massive accolade across board in Edo.
What has Tinubu got to do with Edo? I don't like the overbearing influence of Tinubu in Lagos but on this Edo matter, don't drag him into it.
Have you seen him support any of the candidates b4? Or have heard him made any comment regarding Edo.
Nodogragra4me: Let's leave this discussion please. Like you advised, let's allow the politicians do their thing. After all, every political crisis is nothing but harvest time for those properly positioned.
Pdp in edo and national just cashed out from oba Osho cashed out from ize Giad is cashing out also from edo government and amechi and if he stays longer will cash out from the white beard man in one of the western states
Harvest time for them, argument time for us.
We can't leave politicians to go on like this because their selfish acts has a much larger impact on our lives than you obviously can imagine. Just imagine how the decision of politicians locked us down at home for over a month. Everyone was affected. We can't leave them alone to dance naked because it'll a shame to all of us
emilas1979: This man is chief among the people that makes buhari and his staffs to see Nigerians as their slaves.
You said you are a lawyer and you are encouraging people you work for to disobey court orders.
I am made to understand that every court ruling most be obeyed, even when its given under alcoholic influence.
It's time his appointment is terminated, he has over-served his usefulness
Are you senile? Besides, Sagay, who chairs the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), said the ex-parte order Giadom is relying on to claim acting chairmanship had since lapsed.
I just don't get this. How a deputy Secretary can lay claim and take the chairmanship of such a party when there are other politicians above him. Well, I'm still watching. I'm sure others will be formalizing their plans of forming another party now. Because all these is all a game plan

AroleOduduwa2: What load of rubbish did you just type, it doesn’t have legal backing yet the court of appeal upheld the decision to suspend him, Zom’bie think before typing.
The court of Appeal was only uphelding the decision of the lower court. Hearing on the case by both parties has not even commenced. Oshiomole chairmanship is in contention. The court ordered Oshiomole to step down so they can hear the credibility of the case. When Oshiomole appear b4 the court he will argue his case then
JasonScoolari: From my observation, it seems most of you Grade 8 zombies have short memories, but let me take you guys back to 2016 when the APC administration of Adams "Sarri" Oshiomhole started the show and DENIED Ize-Iyamu the 2016 PDP Gubernatorial candidate the use of Ogbe stadium for his campaign... Here's the link;
WATCHOVER: Who is stopping him from coming? Only thing Obaseki needs is social distancing rules must be obey. Any disobedience will lead to party scatter Meanwhile their candidates risks disqualification
Sheggy13: What are you talking about. Please provide me the evidence this man faked admission. Will you fake admission and also fake graduation at the same time and the same University will come out to defend you that you graduated genuinely? So you don't know Universities do verification of O'Level results during registration as a fresher and also before you graduate. Or you haven't heard of cases people were expelled from the University some at their final year because of deficient/forged O'Level result? If he had faked the O'Level, UI would have caught him before allowing him graduate.
Have you heard about something in law that the burden of proof is on the accuser? It is not in Obaseki's place to prove to you whether the certificates he has are fake or not. He believes they are genuine that's why he's parading them. It is you who is accusing him of faking them that should provide evidence for your claim else he's liable of suing you libel and defamation. Let's be guided please.
This is not a matter of fake certificate. It's a lot more than that. However, When the judge of your case finds you guilty, won't you appeal?
Sheggy13: He did not give himself admission into UI with the 3 credits and he did not also graduate himself in 3 years. The onus of explanation of that abracadabra lies with UI and they have come out to defend him.
Too bad UI is not the one contesting here.
Is this how you understand law?
When you fake an admission and you're contesting for something the onus is on the institution to defend you?! Gezz!
