My school is fond of late payment. The last time i was paid was January before the pandemic came. Since then we've not heard anything.
I've finished spending my saving for house rent. Now, I'm surviving on just one home lesson.

In my street at Ijegun they've been sharing light 2 days on, 1 day off. People didn't complain.Later they turned it to 2 days on, 2 days off. We were still ok. Then it was 1 day on, 3 days off.
That was when we started holding meeting. But when it became once ( or 0) in a week. We stormed their office. We bought the transformer and wires we are using.
I'm telling you that now, we have light everyday. No more On and Off.

There are a lot of reasons why e-learning may not be feasible in Nigeria. Most importantly, students in public schools lack the resources to participate in online tutorial.

These are desperate time.
No one will be talking of teaching if we are at war. And at war we are; against an invincible enemy.
We have to make use of available options for now. It may not accommodate everyone but it's the best within our circumstance.
When this is over, maybe Nigerians will then have common sense to vote in credible leaders.

Aside from online, there are also on air methods of teaching taking place. There are two channels on Startimes for teaching Primary and Secondary.

Edit: There pay as you go is actually a daily subscription. So if you dont watch on a particular day, you will not be charged, still better than nothing
