ahhh pardon my ignorance, i see what the objection is. it is the exclusivity of the name. it leaves out atheists and buddhists and scientologists and voodoo worshippers etc etc . ok i get it now

ARareGem: Why was the Christian Chatbox thread changed into the Religion Section General Chat thread? The whole purpose of starting the former thread which are still stated on the first page of the thread hv been defeated.

Yesterday, a new thread started as the general chat room for religion section users whilst maintaining the Christian chat room thread. I didn't come across any objections to that. But just because someone complained they didn't like the idea, you dance to their tune? .....

Ibrahim Mav: Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with having a Muslim moderator officiating the general religion section so far as he/she is fair and tolerant.

Ibrahim Mav: Interesting point of view, but I don't agree. I know for a fact that Judaism, Islam and Christianity worship the same God, but different approach and doctrines get in the way and hence the never-ending squabbles.

There is nothing in christianity that explain forming of foetus, baby growth in womb and birth. How to live from cradle to adult is fully explain in Quran and Hadith.

Could you provide the same in Bible? Marriage/divorce, raising of kid and finally death/inheritance are all in Quran.

That is why Islam in Nigeria is the same as Islam in North/South America, Europe, Oceania, Africa and Asia.

While Christianity doctrine is different. Christianity is human made and that is why is change from time to time. Homosexual has been finding its way into Christianity.

Bludeville: Was just about to open a similar thread. The pastor kept saying " i will never carry another man's problem" . I always thought the heart of christianity was selflessness. Love, after all Jesus died for Christains, and their sins and their problem, shouldnt the aim of christianity be to help carry one anothers problem if possible?
