How did the brains of young Nigerians deteriorate so much? People just comment on articles they never read, and we claim to be educated. |
The level of hatred in people calling themselves Christians is really amazing.
Is this how far we have fallen? |
So I take it no one has seen basket case...saw the movie when I was lil', couldn't even finish it ran to my parents room Nd slept off. Till date I Neva geh liver watch am again.
That is one movie I don't ever want to remember. The few scenes I managed to watch frightened me for months |
MadCow1:If I recall correctly, the former governor of Rivers State used to say that Rivers State govt repaired federal roads and they weren't reimbursed. Why is Rivers State not on this list? |
MadCow1:It's just an irrational fear. If you take an exam like this, you will find that you are actually much smarter than you thought. That discovery is the best confidence booster there is. |
When will all this propaganda stop? PIB didn't pass; was Jonathan a senator? We claim democracy but obviously whoever came up with that statement knows nothing about separation of powers. If this was a campaign statement from the APC, then I'm not surprised. Their plan begins and ends with unseating whoever is in power. No plans are made for governance. I am yet to hear one sentence about what their plans are for their constituents when voted in. We can all see the change in the country. Perhaps that's why Amaechi hasn't talked about change because he knows it won't fly. He's applying the old technique that brought APC to aso rock last year: blame Jonathan. I really hope they get what they deserve on Saturday. Leadership isn't about mud slinging, it's about taking responsibility and doing the job you applied for by contesting elections. Let the contestants talk to their prospective voters, if they have anything to offer. The "blame Jonathan " lyrics are stale already. |
Does it work only with brown sugar? what about white? |
one of the easiest ways to pick out ghost workers is by checking every worker's BVN. If the same number shows up in different nominal rolls, voila! You have ghosts. They should submit it....... ....unless of course, someone has skeletons in a few cupboards somewhere |
3rdlegxxx:Well, it is what it is. I share it when I have to because it will encourage someone else who is going through a similar situation |
3rdlegxxx:As a person who has been through three difficult pregnancies and three Caesarean sections, I understand why a woman would say "no more babies" and actually do something about it. However, I think she should take a step further by studying her cycle for six months. That should be enough time to give her a good idea of how her body works. During her safe period, the CD isn't necessary. When she is unsafe, her husband should use it. It's only for a few days anyway. Like someone rightly said, no method is 100% effective. She isn't entirely wrong for wanting to be safe, but compromise is necessary in marriage. There has to be a middle ground somewhere, to reduce friction in the relationship. |
I miss Jigiyasa |
zeeworldfreak1:The drama is getting stale. This matter is dragging on for too long. |
So if he sponsors a Health bill in the National Assembly and it gets passed, it would only be implemented in Baylesa state or his constituency abi? Lets us just take a moment to stare at your wisdom.. What stops your senator from sponsoring that bill? Do we really have no laws on health issues? Apparently Senator Bruce is the only senator people talk about, because he stays in touch with the people. He isn't doing anything wrong. I probably won't be seeing or hearing from my senator till the next campaigns. |
Waiter give me a drink... classic Jai Walia. Classic. |
It's odd the way people think that by putting money in a basket you can bribe God to act as you wish. He gave you a fully functional brain. He expects you to use it. OP, for a minute, forget whatever you have been told by people about God. Read the Bible for yourself. As long as the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest will not cease. The problem is with your understanding of "seed". What you are doing is like burying 100 naira note in the farm and expecting to return and harvest corn. If you want academic success, the correct seed to sow is your time in studying your course materials. The correct prayer to pray is for God to bless your mind with understanding. Study like those that are passing. Study with them. Learn from them. That's the way to success. |
I'm officially done watching destiny.
What manner of mumuness is possessing the Gorodia family? |
There goes Suryiacant Gorodia. |
I'm seeing some punishments for the first time here!
Thanks OP I've got to try these on some people |
Would I marry a guy living in one room? yes Would I marry a guy without a steady job? No. With marriage comes responsibility, financial responsibility. There will be bills, foreseen and unforeseen. Would I marry a guy who loves me but isn't exactly my spec? Oh yes. There's almost nothing as valuable as a husband who loves you. Would I marry a man who's a lot older than I am? That depends on him, but on a good day, I'd rather not. One more thing, marriage isn't dating. It's for a lifetime. It requires preparation from both parties, and a strong sense of responsibility. |
teebaxy:Isn't it the girls who give themselves up to be used by politicians, because they want to live above their means? |
I hope her parents are aware that there is something called paedophilia. When parents let their kids become objectified, they have only themselves to blame. This isn't a child's dream. An adult put the idea in her head. Let her be a little girl. She has the rest of her life to grow up. |
Gionee means business. I use a Gionee m3 and the battery is really impressive. This is making me consider an upgrade |
Number 7 When I buy something, I tend to bond with it. Even if I feel I should replace it, I never get around to actually replacing it, as long as the old one works just fine. Sometimes the thieves do me a favor by stealing my phone. I get to buy a better one (just looking at the bright side) ![]() |
The legislature is supposed to check the executive, or is our democracy just on paper? The minister for petroleum has to explain precisely what his policies are in that sector. If the president has no policy of his own, he should say so, because right now, he's more clueless than his predecessor. |
fm7070:The honest truth is that marriage is completely different from dating. Marriage comes with responsibilities. It is in a man's best interest to delay marriage until he is in a position to be responsible for the welfare of his household. But situations may arise where a husband is incapable of providing as he should. In such situations, the wife should stand by him and support him, not threaten to leave. Marriage is about responsibility, both the man and woman are responsible for the home they have created by getting married. Where there are issues, they should work as a team to fix their issues. OP, this is what your wife needs to understand. I am a wife too. We all wish things could be rosy always, but life isn't always like that. A wife should be there for her husband. She should support him in good times and bad. Same goes for a husband. I hope you find a good job soon. |
The woman is in serious need of jail time. I hope her need gets supplied |
Somebody pleeeeease tell me I'm dreaming......... Please |
jnrbayano:I was particularly interested in the threat to life and assault part. No matter how much I love someone, once assault comes in, or there's a threat to my life, it's time to check out. More women are getting murdered by their spouses. These murders wouldn't have occurred if the women involved told themselves the simple truth, it's better to live to care for your kids than to die prematurely because you want to stay married. Who will care for the kids? |
IamforGod:You seem to have forgotten that the nurse in question was trying to deliver a baby at that moment , a baby in breech presentation. The lives of that baby and that of the mother who was in pain didn't matter, in your own judgement. Brilliant. |
This actually had me rolling on the floor.
Hilarious.
I love the last one |
Brilliant review there. These are the reasons I find nollywood movies a pain to watch. I hope they do better. |
Abeg I missed today's episode. What happened? |
