Zionmdde: There is no south south, you are either igbo or yoruba or hausa. There is no middle ground. Infant if you are fair and clean you are igbo
The earlier you realize that any fight against igbos will not by pass SS the better I have resided in several yoruba and Hausa land, every ekpeyong, Harry, Akpan etc is omo igbo. I am not saying SS is igbo land, but the earlier you embrace the reality you cannot change the better You just said the truth. U are very correct. The SS must rely on the SE. The other regions are devils. |

ken6488: South west and south east foolishness has done us no good
From next election south south will be working more with the north
The youruba and the igbos can go about killing there self
There tribal war will not bring us down
To big tribes just be disturbing the full country The tribal war just they vex me. But believe me, the north is not Interested in development. They just want to rule. The SS is at the middle of very unprogressive bunch. I think working with SE is better. |
Politics › Re: Tribalism Hidden In Foundations Of Our Country Have Come Out - Bolanle Olukanni by misano(m): 3:30pm On Mar 19, 2023 |
Eriokanmi: There's nothing like tribalism in yorubaland. We're accommodating and welcoming and that's why Yorubaland is developing. It was tinubu who came and changed the status quo by breeding thuggery. Was it Pa Awolowo who wasn't accommodating or who? How many thugs did Pa Awo breed? When tinubu talks, just analyse his words. You'd realise how stinking it is. No good man or leader talks the way he does, just like a drunk man. Is it normal for people to snatch ballot boxes and attack people openly just because they want to end bad governance?
It's not today opposition has been winning in Lagos and Yorubaland? Heaven didn't fall when it happened. Even if another candidate rises tomorrow to contest, urchins will still complain. Jimmy Agbaje was even called an igbo agenda. PDP, an opposition had won Lagos before and it won't be the last for an opposition. All tribes represented here jointly made it happen. Amazingly, most of those preaching tribal messages are among the poorest of the poor. They're badly hit by the policies of bad governance. This is just the beginning. Things can always get better with better people occupying our political space. No more free votes.
By the time Tinubu's empire ends, his supporters will be put where they belong. The end to his empire has just started as you can see. Nothing lasts forever. Stop singing your praises, let others do it for you. As a Delta man in Edo, I think Yoruba are hostile and tribalistic. |

Presidency can't help Igbos. Fight for a restructured Nigeria. That's the only part way to nation building. This national cake shared amongst ethnic bigots will get U know where. Change your mindset. |

Godspikin: That's why if you ask me, the only true path to significant development and rapid growth is to practice true federalism. Without that even if you bring Jesus to be the president there can't be humongous or huge difference.
The type of federalism that gives room for positive competition, especially with the energy the South East has which should be invested in industrialization rather than this agitation for Biafra and the bitterness that the failure of that pursuit brings.
Also that industrialization must be guided by institution that will ensure standard is maintained, I say this because in my little sojourn in business I have noticed something about the Igbo man's business principles, standard no dey matter, he is driven solely by profits. You are very right. Nigeria needs to be restructured. |

Trying to wrap them around this Nigeria's national cake of ethnic bigots will not lead to any form of development. It's just nonsense rotation in a mouse wheel. |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi: The Worst Thing To Happen To Igbos Since Independence by misano(m): 1:26am On Mar 19, 2023 |
Godspikin: So apt! You are very on point!
All that you need to do is to make other igbos like you see reason. You understand the issues most of them don't.
They are just overly emotional. Nobody gives power to a people out of pity. Nobody gave the Yorubas.
The structure of the country is already skewed against both the Yorubas and the igbos.
To win a presidential seat one needs to align with others and since politics is a game of numbers, the north is the beautiful bride, particularly the north west. The Yorubas understand this but your brothers see it as weakness, they tag the Yorubas all sort of names, but those who know are aware that the Igbos will never be president in Nigeria with that attitude.
Rather than do a root cause analysis of why igbos keep losing anytime they put forward a candidate from the South East they transfer the bitterness of their loss to the Yorubas. The problem with this is that it doesn't bring development. The North only one day conquer the entire South. This is not nation building it's all going to fail in the long run. |

PDP would have wob this election if not for obingo. The North will not vote for an Igbo candidate. They see the Igbos as a big challenge to their interest. The Ibgos can work with part of NC & SS. The SE governors should work on building their region, fight for more powers to the governors. Forget about presidency. The presidency help no one. |

The next time I see someone from the South South supporting an Igbo candidate, I will personally deal ruthlessly with such a fool. You are brainless. Sorry to say. |

Birdbyrde440: Despite the betrayal from the people of the so called "Niger-Delta" against the Igbos because of the oil in their backyard. The so called Niger delta have disassociated themselves from their cousins the igbo.
Despite the Envy and jealousy from the Tinubu inspired Yoruba haters.
We Northerners are fully aware that the future of Nigeria lies in the so called "dot nation".
That landlocked parcel of land holds the largest gas reserves that will serve the entire West Africa and no body will touch that gas as long as their betrayal, envy, hate and sentiments against the igbos.
We all know that the world is shifting to greener sources of energy such as gas, solar, nuclear and electric. Oil exploration and consumption must stop because of its harmful effects on the environment.
So now that oil exploration is coming to an end, what will be the fate of all your betrayals, envy and jealousy against the igbo?
We know tinubu wants the north to join him in instigating igbo hate but we STAND WITH THE IGBOS. They have the right to leave anywhere and buy as much land in any part of Nigeria as they please.
We shall not partake in the business of Igbo hating. SS is always with the Igbos. They are our biggest allies. That is not negotiable. |

They should come, we are waiting for them. Ijaws please look towards the development of your region, stop trying to hold ground with other regions. It's not worth it bro. Just as U have nothing to do with Igbos, so also Igbos have nothing to do U guys. Just focus and stop fighting. |

The Igbos are always are loggerhead with their host community until it climax to a major bloodshed.
I.just hope Lagos doesn't get to that stage. One reason I hardly acquire property in Lagos is because I know for certain, that a major supremacy battle will occur soon and we Niger Deltans might suffer casualties because we are always mistaken for Igbos I am from Delta, U don't know History.
