free2ryhme: How ever the government in these countries did not fall from heaven that started rough until everything became smooth and orderly. and someone had to take the bull by the horn. do you know how these countries where in the developmental face of their country and economies. If oshiomiole has received more money as you claim more than Lucky Igbenedion is it plausible that Lucky Igbenedion should embezzle the money after all if Lucky Igbenedion had done something tangled for Oshiomiole to build on Edo state would not be in this mess in the first place. How much did GEJ administration give through sure-p to Edo state that was enough to even pay teachers and government workers not to even build roads and other basic amenities [quote author=free2ryhme post=39969448]Am not saying that Oshomiole did not work.He tried in his first term. But this second term have been a chop and clean mouth government. What did Oshomiole do with the 75 million dollars he borrowed? For the past 7 years Oshomiole have not completed central hospital, yet Lucky igbenedion administration established stella obasanjo hospital. |

free2ryhme: how much of the money looted by Lucky Igbinedion and his cohorts was ever recovered?
yet Edo people enduring suffering for 8 years without moving a muscle. Oshiomole is trying to make things right
Nigerians have businesses in UK and US which funds their society through high taxations did you hear anyone complain? Please dont compare Nigeria to Uk and Usa,where their govts are actually working. Secondly the money Oshiomiole has recieved,Lucky Igbenedion did not get 1/3 of that. Oshiomiole has borrowed billions, got refunded for all the federal roads he did in its first term, plus high taxes, and also the money he was getting from Sure-p during Gej administration, etc |

free2ryhme: You did not read The Gov's Post hence you sudden poor remark and shallow mindedness visible in your comments.
Oshiomole gave credible and clear reasons explaining the current state of development and its progress in Edo state. He was right when he said, "Our responsibility is to get the private sector build industries by creating the enabling environment and not to build any'. Government should provide the enabling environment for foreign investors to build industries that will benefit the host state and on the long run the state government.
If you live in Edo state when Lucky was Governor you will give credit to the level of development Edo state is currently enjoying under Oshiomole.
Think before you comment in your case the latter was before the former. With the high taxation,no private sector will want to invest. |

Koleman: Copied from Facebook written by Wisdom Chimekenim . . . . Breaking News!Rt.Hon.Rotimi Amaechi named as minister of Transportation. It will be recalled that ministry of aviation that has to do airports and air transportations has now been merged with ministry of Transpotation.Which means,Amaechi will be incharge of both air, land and sea transports including railways, aircrafts, ships and maritime authority,Amaechi will now have the power to determine the aircrafts which will be grounded at the airports and the ones to release. He now has the power to monitor the movements of enemies of state. What a juicy ministry!Indeed, whats goes around comes around. . . Does that mean we can start blaming Ameachi for bad roads? |

They organize protests and post it on social media. These are the same people and they don't represent the everyday Edo man on the street. How much is oshomiole paying you? The average edo man is tired ,no jobs,no new employment, but more taxes. What did Oshomole do with the 75 million dollar loan? |

Politics › Re: Wike’s Loyalists Open Fake PREMIUM TIMES Facebook Page For Deception - PT by missangela: 10:41am On Oct 29, 2015 |
kahal29: Some supporters of the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, have created a phony Facebook account, passing it off as the original PREMIUM TIMES Facebook page, in what appears a desperate move to mislead the public.
The page calls itself Premium Times News and uses the logo and other creatives and styles belonging to PREMIUM TIMES. Through the page, the group peddles falsehoods and dishes out dangerous propaganda, circulating them widely as if they emanated from PREMIUM TIMES reporting. At times, the group hires some blogs and websites to help it republish its falsehoods on their platforms.
The page claims its administrators operate out of 38 Forces Avenue, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, the same address as that of the Rivers state chapter of the All Progressives Congress. We later found this to be a decoy.
The page started out as a Nyesom Wike support group. The page’s permanent URL (https://www.facebook.com/nyesomwike2015/) clearly shows this. But shortly after the elections, it changed its identity to Premium Times News, cloning the PREMIUM TIMES brand.
The administrators of the page also stole and used PREMIUM TIMES’ branding elements in a bid to deceive the public and pass down its highly biased contents as though it was produced in line with PREMIUM TIMES’ professional standard.
On Tuesday, a website, The Trent Online, circulated a concocted news item it sourced from the fake Facebook page, attributing it to PREMIUM TIMES.
The report purportedly quoted Justice Muazu Pindiga, a judge who served on the Rivers Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, as claiming that he was offered bribe, threatened by the State Security Service before he was eventually removed from the tribunal.
The story was apparently manufactured to cast aspersion on the judgment of the Rivers Tribunal which gave judgment on Saturday sacking Governor Wike and ordering a rerun in the state.
PREMIUM TIMES did not publish any such story and the Trent did not contact our paper before running a piece it sourced from the fake Facebook page.
On Wednesday, the website left an editor’s note below the fake story saying it had since determined that the Facebook page from which it sourced the report does not belong to PREMIUM TIMES.
It however failed to pull down the story, saying doing so would leave its readers encountering “an error message if they attempted to reference this report”.
Another website, Elombah.com had earlier published the same phony report. But it has since edited its post, removing PREMIUM TIMES as the source of its story.
PREMIUM TIMES Managing Editor, Musikilu Mojeed, said his organization became aware of the fake Facebook page some weeks ago.
“Our head of digital strategy immediately filed a formal report to Facebook but Facebook has failed to pull the page down since then, letting the mischief makers to continue spreading their falsehoods, using our identity,” Mr. Mojeed said.
“PREMIUM TIMES has only two Facebook pages. The first is the English version – www.facebook.com/premiumtimes – and the Hausa version – www.facebook.com/premiumtimeshausa.”
“Any other page claiming to belong to the PREMIUM TIMES brand is a pirated copy and should be disregarded.”
When contacted on the matter, Governor Wike’s media assistant, Sam Nwakaudu, said, “This your blackmail is getting out of hand.” He immediately terminated the call.

kITATITA: There are things enlightened group of people should refuse to be associated with. PDP shouldn't be associated with allegations that Buhari or the Presidency is influencing the Judiciary. APC lost in several National Assembly elections and PDP didn't see that. It is characteristic that PDP with money, incumbency, control of security forces and other organs of the government will be more disposed to rigging and consequently have more cases thrown out. Who could say no to Mama Peace and Ateke in Rivers or Akpabio in Akwa Ibom or Tompolo in Delta. These people were gods.
