kingthreat: You made a snide remark when you labeled hoodlums as peaceful protesters. That was what prompted my assumption that you are not just pro government but one of their many bots that have failed woefully at whitewashing their failures. My family, friends and I took part in the protests. My elderly MIL bravely partook in the prayer walk as part of a peaceful protest. Does that make her “aka“ a hoodlum? |

kingthreat: Sympathies with the lady as you rightly should. BUT leave peaceful protesters and your obvious political sentiments out of it. It is an insult to the innocent Endsars victims. The government’s reaction to the peaceful protesters will forever count as one of many internationally known failures of the current administration led by buhari/osinbajo. 1 Like |

Emaprince: It’s bed time for me but you seem very emotional about this EmaPrince so I’ll reply. I’ll repeat this. If we strangers on the internet could tell at a glance that those kids were not for the deceased (May his soul rest in perfect peace), then something isn’t adding up in this whole scandal. Okay let’s say Tunde was blinded by love and trust (a very long stretch) to see that the kids were not his. Are you telling me Prince that all the people around him, especially the ones behind the social media expose, could not tell him that those children were not for him? I’ve lived around traditional Yoruba families and I know for a fact they don’t tolerate such nonsense unless of course, there’s a twist to the events. Usually financial or impotency related, and we all know he wasn’t impotent because he got his fiancé pregnant. Are you seriously believing that it took his wife telling him over six years after the birth of the kids for the late Tunde, his family and friends to “see” and accept that the children were not his? You seem like a logical adult. Please think about it. Now don’t belittle the current fiancé of the late Tunde to prove a point. She is a human being with emotions and dignity. Rebounds exist but for him to agree to walk down the aisle with another woman after being “betrayed“ by the first, clearly shows that he had a lot of trust, love and confidence in the new woman. The mere fact that they were expecting a baby together shows that he had a happy and forward thinking mindset to life despite all that was alleged to have happened. Tunde is dead and cannot speak for himself. That’s the only issue here that a few people are capitalizing on. Also, both his ex wife and the MD of FCMB are holding sensitive positions and will be very guarded and strategic in their responses so it doesn’t destroy their careers. I’m pretty sure when all of this unravels, we will hear something closer to the truth that will leave the “off with her head” gang silent. I apologize if I am coming off as insensitive but I believe in being objective especially when what is being paraded as facts doesn’t seem logical. This is also coming from my interaction with one or two people outside of social media who twist their mouths to the side and whisper “but....(insert my name)...he knew now”. Take heart Prince but don’t get worked up over nothing. It’s not healthy at all. Let me just add that there are still very good women and men out there. Don’t ever let the misbehavior of a few get you discouraged. My husband and I have male and female friends and mentors who are respectful of their marital vows and are grooming us to do same. As you want a decent woman, remember that you also have to be a decent man. One begets the other. I have faith that if you let go of the doubts, you’ll bag a decent lady and both of you will have a happy family together. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Emaprince: Death is sensitive and painful. I understand. But as adults we should remove sentiments and emotions when reasoning so they don’t becloud our judgment. As a stranger you were immediately able to spot the real father of the children when you saw them. That’s why the outrage is so loud on social media because there is no doubt that those kids weren’t his. Now put on your logical cap. If you a stranger at first glance on social media could tell the difference, how much more the man, his family (a traditional Yoruba family for that matter), friends and even his enemies. It was there for the world to see and talk about. Unless the deceased was clinically blind, there is no way on earth he won’t have known the kids weren’t his. The question now is this. Why after his death, when he had moved on enough to impregnate another woman and make plans to walk down the aisle a second time, are some people coming out to make these complaints on behalf of the dead? It reeks of extortion. This is my opinion. Feel free to disagree. Also, the nerve of you to tell me how to walk on nairaland. Darling, avoid me if you dislike my views so strongly. The threads are big enough for all to play. 2 Likes |

genq: Lol. Darling, I’m sorry to disappoint you but I tied the knot in November to a good and godly man. You must be very shallow and inexperienced in life to think living up to 50, raising a child alone in this difficult world and being overweight (possibly from enjoyment) is something to shame a woman or man with. It is very telling of how badly brought up and poorly socialized you are. Unlike you, I was brought up by my loving parents to respect my elders and not judge people who chose birthing kids over abortions. Be a better person this new year. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Shokoloko: Darling, I love your analysis. Objectivity is very lacking for a lot of people on this thread. Everyone knew those kids were for the MD. The late husband was very aware that the kids were not his. The couple had moved on with their lives until his friend and family are trying to score cheap tricks after his death, with a situation their late brother and son (bless his soul) was well aware of. 5 Likes 1 Share |

I refuse to jump on the bandwagon asking for the head of this woman. The hypocrisy and shallow mindedness really stinks. There is no way on God’s green earth that man didn’t know those children were not his. The whole of FCMB knew about the affair and knowing the patriarchal society we live in, a couple of people would have briefed him immediately. Those Niger republic looking kids couldn’t have been born to Yoruba parents. And we all know it. I find it very convenient that a man who had moved on enough to have fixed a wedding date with another woman, has his “family and friends” springing up out of nowhere to claim damages and justice. It screams of greed and blackmail. If this man wanted to fight his battles, he had years to do so when he was alive. Apart from the disciplinary action required for the MD of FCMB for having an affair with his subordinate, I see no other “crime” committed here. The late husband and his ex wife had both moved on to different lives years ago. If he was that scorned, best believe he’d have blown hot once it happened. Those that are looking to cash out from his death are going to be shocked because they’ve basically played their hands. They’re going to have an entire bank and it’s disgruntled MD on their neck and they won’t find a kobo out of this. No way can they prove in any court that a lively man already engaged to his new love interest died as a result of emotional distress from his randy ex wife of years ago having kids with her randy boss. The greed in all of this really stinks. The innocent children have their faces being plastered on all social media to push their agenda of extortion. If they wanted justice and not a few shekels, they’d have written to the banks directly and copied all bank regulatory agencies before proceeding straight to court. Greedy opportunistic people! 18 Likes 2 Shares |

DimIsaac10: But my brother, you know we always try to speak out. But someway, somehow, the victim always becomes the one who gets all the negative attention and societal ridicule. Silly questions like “what was she looking for in her lecturers office“, “some babes are the ones toasting lecturers”, “you hardly hear first class graduates complaining of sexual assault” etc. will always be made. A friend of mine had her script destroyed by a lecturer who was sexually harassing her. She was so broken and when she tried to speak up, a senior female lecturer told her to hush it so she will graduate in peace. She ended up retaking the course and was graded an E. It’s the same way the government marginalizes and torments its citizens. You speak up like we tried to do with the EndSARS protests and they crush you. They even use your fellow citizens to make you look a fool. Some universities even go as far as expelling the students and sending the perverted lecturer on a rushed sabbatical. The lecturer comes back a year after, more cunning and emboldened in his ways. Until the institutions and society starts laying the blame and punishment where it is due, students being harassed will rather take their experiences to their graves. It’s sad but self preservation is the reason a lot of victims are silent. |

DimIsaac10: That is very untrue and highly ignorant. I’ve been threatened with an extra year by a perverted lecturer. It took all the connections within and outside the faculty to get the messy pervert to grade my project. Even at that he gave me a B (68), when all lecturers who reviewed it earlier said it was an obvious A. Bear in mind that I finished in the top 15% of my set and the only reason why I didn’t finish higher was because my first year results were a mess due to my playfulness. After that, I didn’t get below a 4.0 for subsequent terms, sometimes I’d even get a 4.6 in a term. We need to stop the false and ignorant narrative that only dull female students are bullied with sex for grades. It has a way of shifting the blame from the perverted lecturers to the female students which is very wrong. As a lecturer, you have the professional duty to avoid relationships with your students. When it’s now even under duress, you’re a criminal. These perverted lecturers go for any girl that they deem attractive and if she’s got no support system, then they’ll frustrate her till she submits or fails. Let’s be informed please. 7 Likes |

BUSHHUNTER: Her kind irritate me and I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. She came online to heap tainted accusations against Kiki Mordi, because Kiki was getting accolades for her journalism. She conveniently forgot that it was a BBC project that she chose to be anonymous on, and if at all she had any issues with awards and recognition, the BBC should have been the primary organization to vent her anger on. Due to her naked jealousy and spite, she sought refuge with those who already despised Kiki. When she went overboard by basically saying Kiki traded sex with a key member of the BBC for the role, her major cheerleaders went silent on her. Now that she’s used her lies to ruin herself and may face a lawsuit to prove her unfounded and wicked allegations, she’s threatening suicide. Suicide is usually the go to emotional blackmail card for the truly manipulative, especially when the tables have turned against them. If she had really wanted to die, we’d be writing RIP by now. And you can’t tell me she really drank two bottles of sniper today and is already “stable with tummy pains”. I have no sympathy for emotionally manipulative men and women. Next time, she’d pick genuine battles to fight. 2 Likes |

1. Marry a good hearted person. 2. Be a good husband. Don’t do to her what you wouldn’t want her to do to you. 3. Have some savings that can sufficiently take care of a family. Financial issues can ruin the best of people. 4. Do not have children for at least, the first year of marriage. Use that time to understand your partner and form a bond. 5. Do not have relatives or friends live with you for the first year of marriage. Visits shouldn’t be more than 3 days. Nosy family and friends are the number one cause of issues in young marriages. 6. Let God lead in all you do. As the head of the home, it is important you have a direct bond with God because even the Bible says the husband is the head of the home and the blessings flow from the husband to the wife. That’s why he opens his head in prayers while she covers her own. If the head is weak, the body is open to all sorts of attacks. 7. Do not start things you cannot finish. If you’re the type that doesn’t believe in cooking or cleaning, let her know during courtship so you both can plan your responsibilities. You cannot be Tony Umez in courtship then turn into Pete Edochie during marriage. It is a sure way to kill whatever love may exist between the two of you. 8. Avoid unnecessary interference from family, friends and most especially, religious people. Do what works for you both no matter how unconventional it may seem to others. 9. Be patient and honest but do not enable misbehavior in any form. In a calm and firm manner, let your partner know what they did to offend you and sort out all issues to avoid any form of lingering resentment. 10. Enjoy yourselves. Go on dates, knack in the sitting room, kitchen etc. You both are now one before God and should explore your bodies and minds to the fullest. That’s all I know. 52 Likes 5 Shares |

In her early media rounds, she apologized and said her disqualification was nobody’s fault but hers but people still wanted her destroyed and broken. I really didn’t understand the venom.
