Yeah! I heard that calabar is the cleanest city in naija. Is it?
PoliticsRe: ICPC: 24 State Governors Are Corrupt! by Missworld(f): 8:27pm On Mar 06, 2006
They are playing politics on their people. I bet whomever they are arresting now are those that didn't or wouldn't vote for the third term crap so they are trying to gather and luck them up where their voices won't be heard.
Again I'm sure more than 90% of our governors are corrupted so making couple of arrests ain't enough. They might as well luck them all up but noooooooooo! cos then no one will vote or rather their won't be great support soooooooo they will just get ride of those that will spoil their party before it's too late therefore they come up with stupid reason or whatever just to shut them up.
CelebritiesRe: Genevieve Nnaji And Omotola Jalade by Missworld(f): 8:14pm On Mar 06, 2006
without a single doubt, I prefer omotala and again they shouldn't bring her down to Genny's level.
As I observed, Genny's hair in two of her pics above looks well done but my question is, what's up with her hair in movies?
PoliticsRe: IBB For President (2007) by Missworld(f): 8:01pm On Mar 06, 2006
Between OBJ and IBB, I'll vote for IBB. Oh besides, he's the best candidate so far.
PoliticsRe: ICPC: 24 State Governors Are Corrupt! by Missworld(f): 4:09pm On Mar 03, 2006
Mariory:
They can't do that because the governors are immune under the current constitution.
Are u kidding me? If so then they might as well immune hard core criminals but I frankly don't understand that type of government. It's so unfortunate that our leaders don't really care about their people.
PoliticsRe: ICPC: 24 State Governors Are Corrupt! by Missworld(f): 3:24pm On Mar 02, 2006
I'm convinced that more than 90% of our Nigerian governors are corrupted. It's even a bigger corruption when the nation hides information from it's own people.
RomanceRe: What if Your Boyfriend Beats You A Lot? by Missworld(f): 3:18pm On Mar 02, 2006
I like that Rhodalyn! Strong words from strong lady.
I should understand if he hits me out of great anger that will be like once a year but I'll be calculating the emotions and how much I deserve that. If it doesn't balance, then I'll make him regret ever raising his hands. By the way, that boy must be my husband because I won't create such chances for my boyfriend. If my Bf gets mad, let's talk over the phone because I ain't got time to watch him punch the walls and so forth.
Music/RadioRe: 2Face Idibia's "OLE" Music Video by Missworld(f): 2:48pm On Mar 02, 2006
I love Nigerian music anyhow but I really think that we are settling for less. I miss the African drums. Our artists invest their efforts trying to copy Americans while loosing their uniqueness. I kinda like the fact that some songs have Jamaican flavor in it however it should be African flavor mist with jamaican not American. That will definitely compete my being as a true African.

Reba:

CelebritiesRe: Genevieve Nnaji And Omotola Jalade by Missworld(f): 2:42pm On Feb 28, 2006
Oh boy! I came believe that they made Omotala compete with Genny. Omotala is an international babe. She acts with dignity. Genny is good but to me she is still a growing actress who thinks she has got it all. I can't put Omotala in the same place as Genny I refuse to. As for the Lux role or whatever, gene can take it cos omotala deserves much better than that.

*** Don't get me wrong, Genny is also an international babe but I can't show her movies to my friends unless they have other outstanding actors or actresses in there as well.
FashionRe: I Love Fashion by Missworld(f): 6:05pm On Feb 27, 2006
Down here in Fl, everyone tries their best with fashion. From Jamo crazy styles to Nigerian Buba. I love fashion a lot but most of the time I commit fashion suicide and I really don't care as long as it looks nice. I was once told that fashion have rules; give me a break. Forget the rules as long as 90% of the population admires it maybe the rules should be bent for some trends.
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) by Missworld(f): 4:05am On Feb 07, 2006
I used to play girls soccer but after I graduated, I haven't been following up with any sports activity. I don't know what's going out there but I pray that Naija will win Brazil someday so that my Brazilian friends here will shut up for once. Go Naija!
FashionRe: Worst Fashion Mishap You've Ever Had by Missworld(f): 5:52am On Jan 20, 2006
Oh boy!
This one day when I was still in high school infact I was a junior then. So on this wired morning, I grabbed my dad's hat, u know the Nigerian hat usually for tittled men but those men wear the red ones and my dad has the black one. After the morning prayers I rushed out to school. On my way I received a lot of bows from people especially Jewish and I was so honored to bow back. Some people just laugh and I really didn't care till one girl said " I know u ain't Jew, u are just covering up ur bad hair do but baby girl there's nothing wrong with that expect that u are committing fashion suicide" I was like, damn it!

Kokscity:
@ Topic

I schooled in Ibo Land for six years, and found the people to be very Innovative, hard working and remarkably smart but liked money a little too much. I lived in Lagos and found Yoruba's to be well educated people, but were not reliable.Would snitch on their own mother, for their own benefit especially if you were not Yoruba. I lived in PH and found the Ikwerre people to be full of life but will sell land to 10 people all @ once and justify it. So bottom line is i am Nigerian, we all have faults and flaws. I hope we can leave together though.
That's word bro.
CrimeRe: Why Do Many Nigerian Guys In America Try So Hard To Be Gangsters? by Missworld(f): 9:00pm On Jan 17, 2006
Trying to address your question 2nde. I haven't seen that many Nigerian ladies as you mentioned going to clubs and wasting their time. Like most Nigerians abroad, they try to manage their resources, good to school specializing mostly in medical fields in order to help their relatives back home.

2nde:
I tought you would support it, i wanted to say you are not "Missworld" that your screen name says
For real Mr 2nde. US is nothing compared to naija's condition. Clothings are affordable and opportunities are everywhere. The only reason why I'll share things like that will be if I find myself in a desperate situation or in a condition similar to that of Naija's. Hey, that I don't share doesn't mean people can't have it if they need it more than I do.
FashionRe: Would/ Do You Share Your Outfits/ Shoes With Friends? by Missworld(f): 4:04pm On Jan 13, 2006
What was I saying oh okay. I shared uniforms in boarding school (Nigeria), hey but that was then and the condition made it comfortable as well. Well, like i said, it was back in the days but right now, here in US, that ain't happening.

I just have some doubts about that guy.
EducationRe: Why We Love Nigerian Boarding Schools by Missworld(f): 6:27am On Jan 11, 2006
I entered when I was 11 it was so fun from day one but I got bullied many times though. That's typical of school life. I enjoyed it and I miss it so much.
FashionRe: Would/ Do You Share Your Outfits/ Shoes With Friends? by Missworld(f): 4:08am On Jan 11, 2006
I share with my sisters and if they wear it too much, I'll rap it and give it to them. I can remember once a cousin borrowed my shirt for something and never gave it back but I won't even take anyways ( I bet she figured me out). I guess I'm not comfortable sharing once it's not my immediate family.
