Maybe You need to understand the difference between a Slang Dictionary and an English Dictionary.

The word 'Shortie'/'Shorty' means something different in an English Dic. It's only in a Slang Dictionary like 'Urban', You'D find 'Shortie/Shawty as a variant of 'fine Woman'.
