RomanceRe: Street Attraction: Tell Us Your Story. by MissyB3(f): 5:28pm On Dec 29, 2010
rokiatu:
hehehehe thats lust mate be careful grin

But yea I do agree, even married people admire other women/men.

As for me, this happend three days ago. My own is no street attraction, mine happend at a party. There was this hot dude, I mean seriously hot not your average kinda hot guy. Even with blurry vision, you will notice the dude, he was too dang fine. He honestly swept me off my feet. And then I couldn't believe it, he asked me to dance with him, I was floored (I guess by his good look lol)  mine you, my bf was at this very party. But I really did not care, I am not married to him I am still allow to peep grin. So after dancing with him, I headed straight to me friends, I asked for his personal info. The dude was from interstate, so he was quite new to me, I didn't know anything abt him.

I got his name and number. But I forgot to ask essential questions, since he was alone at the party, I assumed straight away that he was single. So after the party, I headed straight home, didn't change, I didn't eat, didn't shower. didn't do anything, I headed for my laptop first thing and type in facebook as fast as my fingers could type.  I didn't check any of my notification or anything, I search for him first thing and pwed there he was hot as ever just the way he was in person. I was so excited. I checked his info, and what did I see lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed "MARRIED" under his relationship status  embarassed  embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed lipsrsealed embarassed  embarassed DANG! I couldn't believe my eyes. I thot maybe he was joking, so I decided to check out some of his photos, Good Lord what did I see grin a special album dedicated to only his wife, his wedding photos and all sort of romantic photos of them two together, I didn't add him again I just close my computer  the laughter was too much for my one to bear so I call my friends to tell them, and the idiots have been laughing at me for days grin actually they are not to be blame, I've been laughing at my self also lol.

RomanceRe: Do You Think Its Possible For A Teenager To Truly Fall In Love? by MissyB3(f): 1:50am On Dec 29, 2010
Atreides:
i think you have to have some level of self-awareness to take on something as complex as a r/ship. If you dont know who you are then you can lose yourself in the r/ship.
Love isn't dependent on self-awareness.
You could love, notwithstanding having little awareness of yourself. Whether this is
advantageous or not isn't the question . . .The thing is, self-awareness has nothing to do with Love. Two different things- oranges and apples. Emotions belong to the limbic system while awareness belongs to the cerebral cortex. Like I said, oranges and apples.

Love isn't a decision so, there's no way you could choose to first have full knowledge of yourself before you love someone.
I don't choose to feel pain [ If I stepped on a broken bottle, it would hurt and that could make me cry, regardless of whether I want it to hurt or not/ whether I had always known that the piercing of a mere broken bottle could make me cry or not], I don't choose to feel pleasure, I don't choose to love and when to love. If the factors that trigger this emotion are present, it happens. One has little or no control over it.
Knowing who I am is one thing . . . .Loving someone, is another.

Of course, I also think it's wise to go into a r/ship only when one is mature enough to know to some extent, who one is, what one wants, how to be decisive, control and handle certain situations properly but nothing proves one cannot love before acquiring these abilities.

Atreides:
We're gonna have to agree to disagree here-?
cool wink

Atreides:
You had your first and ONLY committed r/ship at 17? *gasp*. . Wetin happen?

RomanceRe: Do You Think Its Possible For A Teenager To Truly Fall In Love? by MissyB3(f): 11:26pm On Dec 28, 2010
It's a thread for teenagers, I feel so old in here.  grin tongue

Well, yes, teenagers are capable of being in love/Loving.
Would you laugh if you were told that even babies are capable of loving/ being in love, too? Yes, they actually are.  . . . . Age is not a determinant.
It's however a different thing to say the word Love is often misused and many teenagers find it difficult to distinguish love from other seeming pleasant feelings at a given point.
Even here, I'D also like to point out that, not only teenagers are guilty, some seeming adults are also culprits.

Emotions belong to the peripheral nervous system and teenagers have brains -> PNS.
Since The brain is responsible for all emotions without age specification or limitation of certain emotions except damage is done, if teenagers feel emotions like pain, fear, anger etc, they should/ Must be able to feel love/be in love too.

I had my first and only committed relationship at age 17 and 'many' years after, I still reminisce and say bodly I was in love.

It's understandable if You say most teenagers are incapable of handling the complexity of Love [Not all adults can, either].

I think psychologically,we're just not programmed to have an emotion as intense as love just yet
Wrong!

And then there's the fact that we're still figuring out who we are. We are still figuring out our likes and dislikes, our weaknesses and strengths, and we are still discovering ourselves as individuals. Our personalities are still in a state of flux. And if i dont know who i am yet, then how the heck am i supposed to know and fall in love with with someone else?
Love is not dependent on self-awareness
