BE HONEST, EVEN IF......(in continuation with Koroba:sell faster series)

Being honest with a customer may not land you a deal but its the best thing to do. The customer may not have need for that product based on your explanations but will trust your judgement next time and likely refer you to his/her contact because you are not being manipulative.

On a flip side, how would you feel knowing some guy manipulated you into buying what is obviously flawed? Pissed. If the customer eventually finds out you have been deceptive, that's the end of business with that customer and all his/her contacts.

Honesty in a sales pitch can strike the right chord in a buyer. It is a show of confidence in the product. You may not close a deal today but you have set up the process of closing multiple deals tomorrow by winning the customers trust.

I sell radio/Tv content. I remember trying to sell "a radio
content" aimed at brides to a big caterer whose office is in
surulere; It was fine initially, but later she just refused to
pick my calls forming travel every time. I hear wen. Then I
left her and moved on to other customers. At the end of the
day, I got big vendors who were more than happy to be part
of the radio project. We got on top radio with Tosin Bucknor. That gave me hope that passion and tenacity can
get you there. I will be sharing different tips for different

My boss is just annoying. He has refused to release funds made available by world bank for our training. simply because the world bank wants to directly deal with the employees involved.

On the other hand, he is scheming to nominate his own cronies to benefit from the training. People whose job role is not directly related to the course. Sometimes I feel handicapped.

what's your work place experience and how have you been able to address the issue?
FamilyDesign Elements For A Family Business by Mist100(op): 6:18pm On Nov 15, 2016
When people come in contact with your business logo or materials, which feeling is evoked? If your business does not “endear them” at first contact, please go back to the drawing board. Consider these tips when carrying out business designs.

1. Few Words
: Don’t try to impress by being too wordy it will back fire. Fewer words are more effective than a lengthy sentence. Use FEW to say MORE. A recent campaign from a popular malt drink says “why add more?”

2. Color: Some people think the more colors the better some think. Black and white are basic colors and can be used for maximum effect if you know what to do. When your design exceeds 2 major colors you are already messing things up. One color design with different shades of same color is powerful. It focuses and calms the viewer of such material or user of a product/service

3. Space Topology: Imagine taking a picture of a Camel in the Sahara or a bird in clear skies, it stands out and symbolizes strength. Applying same, too many contacts in a space is counterproductive. Some add their gmail, yahoomail, airtel, glo, mtn, etisalat, facebook and instagram contacts. You really think a potential customer will try all these numbers and emails without getting frustrated after the first two? Add your two most important contacts. These should do.

4. Deliver on promise: Your product or service has to do what it is meant to do else you lose customers even if you obeyed all of the rules above. The most important design element is FUNCTIONABILITY. Repeat purchases are what actually drive profits not the first buy.

5. Simplicity: Your products/service shouldn’t be difficult to use. Customers should be able to find their way round it with minimal effort and time. Which would you prefer a modem with a long list of installation guide or one which tells you to just plug and play?

BusinessKelechi Amadi Obi; Luck Or Work by Mist100(op): 1:50pm On Sep 18, 2016
Some say its mostly Luck....

Kelechi’s Success is a mixture of many factors with luck being only 0.1%, in spite of his degree in law and being called to bar in 1993, he went into the unknown realm of photography a novice, his closest to photography at the time was painting. Many years later, not days or weeks nna, years later his images started causing a stir in the photography space after the rigor of teaching himself the art.

You the graduate, have you developed yourself to a sell-able point? By the way how many photographers understand the philosophy of light in relation to photography? How may understands the relationships between primary and secondary colors. Is it luck that his images stand out after all this years of learning?

Do you know why executives such as car dealers, fashion liners and real estate owners hire him? because his images have the capacity to provoking you to the point of buying their products or services over and over again till your ATM card vanishes. If he charges highly for that well groomed skill, will you say it is undeserving or luck?

The lucky one they say, creates his own luck through consistency, hard work and innovation. If you wait to get lucky, my brother your wait will be long and painful, you hear. So….lets me WISE so we can all RISE. God bless your hard work.

RomanceDon't Be With A Poor Man by Mist100(op):
By my definition a poor man is not exactly one without money, but a man lacking knowledge on how to handle money. However monetize you are, poverty starts from a poor mindset. So if your spouse has any of these deficiencies then he has a poor mindset.

He likes to borrow without paying
He is extravagant
His business is questionable

1. He likes to borrow without paying .
This sort of man can hardly live within his means. He blows off all he has and finally resorts to borrowing. He starts a small business for you and starts borrowing from the business the very next month until he runs the business aground. When the business finally collapses he turns around to blame you for not being a good business woman.

2. He is extravagant
He spends lavishly on luxury items not minding what to spend tomorrow. His mindset is that of faith, because he believes he will hammer tomorrow. He forgets life is not exactly designed like that. He is the type that will win a contract of N25,000,000 today then buys a Ferari he can’t maintain while living in a rented apartment. When you try to caution him for his over spending he labels you a small thinker or the witch slowing his business.
He is concerned about people’s perception of him so he flaunts affluence even if it is on a loan. I can only say sorry if you commit to him.

3. His business is questionable
He makes money but the source is shrouded. They are commonly into advance free fraud “419” or drug peddling. He swindles people off their hard earned money without a drop of remorse. He has a degree but no job because of his refusal to update himself with useful industry skills.
Nne, if you dine with a man whose sole means of income is stealing from others thereby causing them to commit suicide, I need you to proof your innocence to me.

RomanceHow To Spot A Desperate Chick. by Mist100(op): 6:48pm On Aug 27, 2016
In trying to meet societal expectations on marriage a lot of people go out of their way in desperation to meet these expectations. If you show any of these signs, he knows you are desperate and may take advantage of you.

a. You Are Willing To Abandon Your Career For Him
b. His Excesses Don’t Matter Because You Think You can Change Him
c. No Gifts From Him, but You Don’t Mind
d. You Want To Convert From Your Faith For Him

I will explain shortly in the comment section. Please drop your questions, views and more.

SOURCE: https://web.facebook.com/officialmrmax

i. You Are Willing To Abandon Your Career For Him

You have put in 7years in your dream job as an accountant and about to get promoted when your Fiancée tells you he is relocating to another state to restart his ailing business. After much talk and deliberation you decide to relocate with him to build his “American dream”. The man knows you are taking a huge risk because relocation is not a guarantee for business success as the business may even fail again. Remember your beautiful job will not be waiting for you. What will you do to get by in a strange land if things get bad?

When a man without self-control is broke, every other thing along his path is likely to break and you are no exception. If you are willing to relocate in spite of the risks, he will sense desperation and take you for granted. At the slightest provocation your relocation might turn to dislocation of your bones.
RomanceYou Are A Maga If You’ve Done Any Of These.(PART2) by Mist100(op): 5:29pm On Aug 25, 2016
YOU ARE A MAGA IF YOU’VE DONE ANY OF THESE.(PART 2)

a. She Dumped You After Paying School Fees For 5 Years.
b. Uncle Saka Gives Her G-Strings
c. She Can’t Stay Over Because Of Friday Church Vigil
d. She Stylishly Hides You From Her Friends
e. She is Closer To Her Phone Than To You

iii. She Can’t Stay Over Because Of Friday Church Vigil

After begging her to stay over for the weekend she refused because she has a vigil to attend that night since her church is having a major convention which you are aware of. Later in the night around 2am she started sending prayer points to you concerning the wedding you are both planning. You got out of bed to pray along though you were tired. The following day you felt fulfilled and happy for your prayerful and dutiful wife-to-be.

On Monday morning while driving to work you received a text link to an instagram page from a friend. On opening the link it was as if you are in a bad dream where a short masquerade was chasing you with a whip, you saw pictures of your wife-to-be in BOLUS strippers night club from where she was sending you the prayer points. She was all sweaty dancing with a tall dark dude.

Don’t feel bad because you are short and yellow like MTN logo, it’s her problem not yours.Clubbing is not bad at all, but if at this critical point your wife-to-be is still itching to hop like a frog and lie with church, you need to check yourself.
