tpia6:He is somewhat right, but not actually correct. As i told you before these people in the video are obviously not mixed, they are straight up predominately native Americans. These people are from Southern Mexico, where the population is predominately native, and many of them still speak their native languages. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Gj1gbKW_Wgk These people in (above video) do not have southern European feature, which is obvious. If you got them confuse with certain Asian population Malay which is understandable, but still distinct from them. This is the latest groups of Mexicans and Central Americans to enter the United States. The first waves were obviously mestizos(mix European/Native Americans) which was in during the 1920's-1950's, other group prior the them were combination of Europeans/Mestizo/Mulatto. Now this is the western part of the United States, the so called hispanic group is majority Mexicans and central Americans. You must remember the Western part of the United States used to be Mexico, so when the Americans took over, the place was already populated with people of mixed heritage from Mexico. Here is a census of the first settlers of Los Angeles, which was from Mexico. They were of mixed ancestry except of a few. http://www.laalmanac.com/history/hi03c.htm Census of the original settlers in Los Angeles. Here is a example of a few native languages still spoken in Mexico. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huMtG6v1YcQ Aztec dancers in California. You see this all the time if you lived in Los Angeles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLpeu-YbF0c Aztec dancers in Mexico https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dx7eXRZThV4 In summation in Calfornia or west coast, the majority are Mestizo(mix native American/European) second group(predominately native American) followed by whites, and few may have African blood. Florida is mainly white cubans, who look very white, by any standards. There are a few black cubans in florida, but not many. Many of the white cubans left cuba due to Castro policies. So cuban population demographic has change which has a very large black and mixed race population, however their still many whites there. Since the economic downtown a second wave of Puerto Ricans are moving to Florida, and many of these people are white, blacks and various different admixtures of a combination of three races mainly whites, blacks or native ancestry. Consequently the first wave of Puerto Ricans move to New york after world war 2, and many of them were as i mentioned above, and Dominicans became the next group to follow Puerto Ricans, most of them starting coming during the mid 1980's all the way to the present, most Dominicans are mulattoes, blacks, whites, and some people may have native american admixtures. Many Dominicans live in Washington Heights in New york, but they have a sizable community in New Jersey and i heard Florida as well. Dominican parade in New York https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNAokMxtTlQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAd6qUuxdBA Dominicans in their country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE5c5p5loLs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRBiIH7tM_4 These are one of the main groups, but you have many other groups people from Argentina who population is predominately white, hence they are over look. People from honduras(very multi racial) El salvador (predominately mestizos), guatemala(predominately native american/sizable mestizo population.) Peru(majority supposely mestizo, native american), i met a few whites, and even Japanese people from Peru. These are all the people i encountered since living in North America. I have been to Parguay which is interesting, both Spanish and a language called Guarani is both spoken regardless of ancestry. missionary experiences in Parguay https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZznb5uodzo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Eiv-pnRVr4 |
benega:It is actually natural, and he is still within the color spectrum of the black African context. You see this all over in many countries in sub saharan Africa. Kenyans https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3dcH7K8Xck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ow0IA98ldXc This show was funny, because of the rudeness of the woman. |
shockwave91: Dafuq?? 3 murphs?? That basically means 3 sons and 3 michael caines and 3 everybody.....christopher nolan has started again o. What kind of warped time travel is gonna b involved in dis filmNo, there will not be three michael Caine, because he would be dead, but they discover a wormwhole in the movie and according to theory they travel through time, while we are aging on earth, they are not, since they found the wormwhole. They are basically traveling through space to find a habitable world for mankind, since life on earth according to the movie nearly unlivable, it is not far from reality today, unfortunately. According to insiders, most of the film will be taking place in space and finding if these alien worlds is inhabitable or not. |
shockwave91: @trailer.....dear GodYeah, that is David Oyelowo from Planet of the apes. What is interesting he has three people playing his daughter, so this movie is going to be waay different from "Contact". The girl you seen in the trailer Murph one/young Murph from video http://1.bp..com/-9S7rw52woA4/UKQWfQC0EGI/AAAAAAAAB88/N9kLRpOhjW8/s320/Mackenzie+19.jpg Murph two/ she plays the older Murph or adult Murph. http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTU1MDM5NjczOF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwOTY2MDE4OA@@._V1_SX214_CR0,0,214,317_AL_.jpg Murph three/elderly Murph. http://images.tvrage.com/people_galleries/13/37997/28169.jpg Here is the list of actors in the movie. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0816692/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast |

AfricanApple: well, no one is using culture to judge anyone here it may be what is good for tribe is horrible to another, u should understand dat. well I edited itAfricanApple Edit The Korowai Tribe from New Guinea out of your original post. Again they are not African, since the topic is African focus, we should stick with that. This makes you look ignorant by keeping it there, since myself and Fulaman corrected. So correct your mistake! |
AfricanApple: [Ok, i basically edited out my previous comment in what i said, it was meant as a insult, which i apologize for, and i did read your former comment. However you should do likewise and edit the tribe from New Guinea in your original post which is the proper thing to do, since they are not African. |
AfricanApple: The Korowai Tribe in New Guinea –edit. |
uken73: Ok. But the bolded sounds odd. Any reason why a jungle won't be cold? Here is your answer. http://www.unique-southamerica-travel-experience.com/amazon-rainforest-climate.html |
uken73: I would understand that they should have developed means of handling attacks in the day time when they are awake. However, seeing how unprotected their settlements look, I'm curious about how safe they are at night when they sleep. That is a good question, however these people since they live in the forest i reckoned they are more in-tune to their envoirnment in comparison to the example you given in Africa. For example these people worship some of these animals as gods, so they have a better understanding of them, and i a idea where to set up camp or small settlements. There even a contacted tribe called the jaguar in the Amazon. They are called the Matis people. https://img.socioambiental.org/d/225664-1/matis_16.jpg https://www.amazon-indians.org/explorers/magicgallery/13-Explorers-Club-Matis-Family2.jpg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matis They understand the jungle along with the animals in ways outsiders don't understand, what they have problems with most of the time is so called civilize people, who is far more unpredictable than wild animals. |
uken73: Any idea on how they protect themselves from these wild life? They have arrows, as you seen from the links, and various type of weapons to hunt, fight other groups, and protect themselves in the jungle. As you noticed with similar community around the world, good example is the Masai in Kenya that live within the Safari park in Kenya. Also note Animals for some reason has a built in fear towards humans especially in large groups. Also note there are plenty of game for the animals to hunt, so it is less likely they bother human settlements whether large or small. However the biggest problems for these people is basically the rest of the human species that live outside the jungle and now settling and bringing development within the rainforet, which is destroying our planet eco system. I cannot stress that enough. |
uken73: Wow. So there are many of such groups of people. Thanks @MisterG. I'm just learning of these people and it's so amazing.Actually the uncontacted groups are the minority, most consist of small groups only. The vast majority of the tribes in the Amazon have been in contact especially the large groups and now live in reservations, and they likewise had some interaction with the uncontacted groups, mainly through trade because there was always a tribe network among the different tribes. Yes, there are many wide array of animals in the Amazon jungle ranging from Leopards, Jaguars, Hollering monkeys, pythons, crocodile and piranha. Among many others. https://www.coolfactsforkids.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/black-panther-photoas.jpg Here the list of some animals in the Amazon forest. Note the Amazon forest is the largest jungle in the world. As i mentioned before if the entire forest is gone, expect weird changes throughout planet earth. More than 28 percent of the forest is gone due to development, so the remaining tribes isolation will be short in the not to distance future. |
Also with the rate of development and unfortunately drug barrens, there time is running very short, and so is ours. If the Amazon is destroyed does not only mean trouble to the native, but trouble for all us on earth regardless of country. https://capitalismisover.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Amazon.jpg be expected to witness a major climate change. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2013/11/14/brazil-amazon-destruction/3541703/ |
This group you posted had been discovered or emerged from the forest during the 1980's. However a couple of recent groups had emerged in both Peru and Brazil. Note, majority of the Amazion tribes have been contacted, only a small minority has not. This group was in many news outlets throughout the worl. https://www.viralment.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/tribes.jpg https://news.bbc.co.uk/nol/shared/bsp/hi/image_maps/08/1212000000/1212143250/img/brazil_tribe_786.gif http://www.uncontactedtribes.org/brazilfootage video of them above. and here is another group which is recent http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/southamerica/brazil/11003006/Who-are-the-Amazons-Uncontacted-Indians.html |
tpia1: misterGCan you please point that out? and see what the fulanis hear has to say about your personal observation, so we can put a rest to this. |
BahPulo: Another thing I want to add is the Fulani look. Nothing irks me the most than when I see people attributing the light skin of some Fula to mixing with non Africans like Arabs. I know it may be hard for some to believe but Africa is diverse and many looks and complexions are bond to be found here. I am very light to the point you can see my veins so is my husband but of our 3 kids only one is as light as us the other 2 are 2 shades darker than us. We are not mixed with any non Africans. While my dad is also light, my mom is light brown her mom was very dark. So we are not mixed. What some people forget to consider is the environment some Fulani live in. In guinea Fulani live in areas that are protected from the sun due to dense trees. Plus their diet and way of life can contribute to their appearances. A Fula whether dark or light is easy to distinguish to those who know.I think several of the members need to hear this *cough* Tpia1 and to a small degree Fulaman. It seems he is somehow paranoid about feathering certain segment of the fulani population, and accusing some of them as being half breeds. I am glad you and others fulanis are hear to clarify things. https://i.imgur.com/zATvQiw.jpg https://i.imgur.com/gOiyzvf.jpg |
Fulaman198: With Fulani in general, marrying outside of your ethnicity is usually considered an abomination because marrying Haabe is forbidden. However, I would like to see if these fulbe on the forums you go to are pure themselves. If you do go there don't go there swinging a cricket bat, since you can get bann very easily by having non intellectual debates or being a troll, or randomly posting pictures that is not related to the topic. Which i am glad they are strict about, in regards to banning people. So, keep your arguments civil, which you do here. |
Fulaman198: I would like to argue with them sometime. I bet majority of them are Nigerian Fulanis wanting to be wannabe Arabs. Some Fulani let's not deceive ourselves other Fulani in this thread want to be associated with Arabs, but we are older than Arabs. They are actually not Arab wannabes, here is what one of them said in regards to marriage. It may offend some people here. Inter-ethnic marriages are frowned upon by most Fulani groups.... some are already mixed, so their conditions are unsalvageable, like those of mixed Fulani-Hausa or Fulani-Mande ancestry....Yes, two of the posters are from Nigeria, and i believe one is from Guinea. |
Fulaman198:Fulaman198 great video btw, however this is not btw me and you, this is a fulani internal issue, which it seems like i open up. Again you have one opinion, and they have another. |
Fulaman198: The truth is if those guys can not speak Fulfulde language, then they themselves are not full-blooded Fulani. As aforementioned. To get an idea of true Fulani, you must look at the Mbororo'en. The most segregated of Fulani that speak the cleanest Fulfulde (Fulani language) with hardly any Hausa influence. Or the Liptaako and Fulbe Djeeri. If you are talking about the guys within the forum, yes they do speak to each other in fulani on occasion, however that is a English speaking forum, and mainly deals with Physical and cultural anthropology, genetics, and to a extent history, it must appeal to the dominant language group, which it happens to be English, since many of the participants are from many nations. It is all about opinions Fulaman, they have one opinion and you have another, even few of the fulani members here disagree with your assessment. However how the way i look at it, both could be right. Since it is a possibility that the fulani people came from multiple different groups and formalize one people, like any other group of humans on earth. |
tpia1: misterGI don't want to insult you, but are you fulani? If not i suggest you take a seat and learn from them, like i did on another forum. The picture i posted was from another forum created and posted by fulani people themselves. So, i believe they have the authority of who their people are and not you. So, if you have reservation or disagreements talk to fulanis on that other forum It seems like some of the people i posted bother you for some weird reason? I wonder why since these pictures were posted by fulanis themselves on another forum. I answered this question a few times here, did you read the post? http://www.forumbiodiversity.com/showthread.php/32148-Everything-Fulani/page46 Now read what the fulani Pullojo says in section #455 of the link above, the number you will find on the right side. Since you have reservations, i suggest you take that up with him since he is actually Fulani themselves, and you are not. I wonder what type of reaction you receive from him and several other fulani people on that forum that regularly post on there. You know what, i will partially post what he says, again this is his opinions and some of the other fulani poster opinions. |

Bororojo: the first one and the third one are obviously Ethiopians , only an I.diot wont know that...I did not post the first one, LOL that was your fellow Fulani mistake cronsberg, the guy you was debating with, and Fulaman was right the cross was a dead giveaway. However the other two i did post because it came from fulanis themselves, and plus one of the pictures is marked on (Zone fula). So, i am assuming she is probably Fula, but who knows? |
Fulaman198: I hope that Pullojo isn't Bororojo they sound a lot alike.I guess this is the case of differences of opinions, you have one opinion and pullojo and the other fulani guy that also post in that forum have theirs, both can be right. As i understand it Fulani people has a caste system among themselves as well, according to Pullojo, and the other Fulani member, i cannot recall his name. btw, i like the video. |
Fulaman198: As soon as I saw African American next to this name, I knew he had no idea what he was talking about (no offence to African Americans)No, that is not the one, go to Pullojo which is in post (455) like i said. He is the najia Fulani guy, the number is on the right side in each post. I would like to know your opinion in regards to what he said. |
