Rant time!!!
I didn't go to church today, why My big oversize skirt that i thought even in a million years would not be undersize, but guess what? na so i try make i manage the skirt naim the zip just spoil kpata kpata , that was how i gave up and sat down.... Na so DH come ask me simple "why are you not yet ready"? I went crazyyyyyy on the guy oh, oga just stand dey look very confused, upon that i begin cry oga is still confused till now ... right now i am laughing at myself and wondering what da hell was i mad for? abeg Jan hurry and come oh.

It is very hard. Sad thing is both my Mum and MIL warned me about this but i will say “ which work do i have, let me give him from source”. The few times i gave him bottles before this total rejection, he took with ease so i thought i had no problem. I have cried this morning cuz he vomitted so much after he took a little of it. A friend also says i should try aptamil, will do so today.
P.S- For new mamas and mamas to be, dont make this mistake pls. Start giving bottles asap. Either expressed breastmilk or formula, just give bottles. I am still praying to God to see me tru this phase and i know it will pass soon.

Edd is 17th Jan and i am also going for an elective cs, my doctor has booked me for 37weeks which means delivery will be by December by His grace. Above all it will end in praise for us all IJN.

My baby is not taking anything asides breastmilk and it has to be from source(breast). I thought i had this all sorted out cuz he used to take it sometime ago but i stopped for about 2 weeks and he also stopped taking it.
Whenever i give him bottle, he cries alot and when he even manages to take the milk(while crying, he doesnt suck the teat i just let it drop in which takes forever) he would end up throwing up. I am so worried cuz i resume Monday and he is still rejecting it. I have tried spoon and cup but it is the same.
I even took him to MIL’s place yesterday and left him there to see if he would take it but she called that he was crying endlessly cry.
Please help me oo. Giddyperson i remember u had a similar issue, how did u do it? Other mamas pleaaaaase tell me how to go about it.

This thing can be hard ehh, especially when you are resuming work, monday is around the corner. What worked for my last baby was: i changed the bottle i got(avent) to timmie toppie abi na toppie timmy, some1 told me it was soft like a nipple and bla bla, she took the milk small when i changed bottle, just small oh. I was still looking for solution till i was advised to try aptamil, i did and on the 2nd day she took it. They said aptamil tastes close to breastmilk.... problem be say the price wasn't funny but God provided. In summary, persistence, bottle and milk.
I know this time i'm going to start formula by 2 months, i don't want to enter the kind desperado mode i entered before. Goodluck dear.

The doctors at GH Isolo are extremely nice and patient. Registered there for my ANC initially but my DH prefer private tho so I sneak there once a while to update my file, play with my fellow preggy frnds and do some checkup!!

Will be there for dat free scan once u 38 wks Nxt week,as it's part of our egistration fee ..i hope I get to see u Nxt wk Thurs if it's ur clinic day.

So that 38 wk scan is free, i didn't know oh. My next Anc is in november fa would have been good to meet. If you never drop by then, i'll be waiting

Maybe i should say thank God for the subsidized rate at govt hospitals, it is not really paradise though because Nurses are mean, its a small price to pay sha because my previous surgeries (2) have been excellent and professionally done.

Meanwhile, i thought doctors in island maternity were polite, see GH isolo, my last anc visit, the way the doctor took out time to explain what their procedure is, what kind of stitches would be used etc i was like hold up!!! I dey private hospital? so polite in answering all my questions. I think with all our wahala in nigeria, there are still good citizens out there

Hahaha, its a govt hospital oh, they are not expensive like that. I don't know about the price of VD with epidural sha. The way they charge in private hospital eh, person will just be wondering, one day i miss road wey i hear 650 for CS, hian that one go pay rent oh .

Ehhhh!!!!! No wonder they are collecting 5h, we paid like 17k5h to register at mine, without delivering oh!!!!

And for the family planning my hospital is a very good one with good consultant that's why I'm bothered as to what went wrong and wanted to know i can get different opinion so I can suggest it to them. Thank you very much.

Congrats on your BFP... i no go lie, i laugh you small sha , anyway, what family planning mthd did you use? Is it the IUD or implanon? I would suggest the IUD, plus learn to track your ovulation, you can also use condoms, e no bad to mix!! Because physically and emotionally, this back to back is draining i can only imagine. Then pls i think the hospital should be more proactive with regards to the tests you have mentioned just incase you need shots, since you are already far along, maybe you shoukd rack for them small. Congrats again.

This one that they high-jacked you people so, you must born there be that. Abeg what's in the list they gave you again? Please tell me o, incase there are things there I still need to get.

The one I've not settled with them is the blood donation thing. I'm not comfortable with dh giving, so I keep postponing it. I told him to do PCV test first, after which I stylishly convinced him that his blood was not enough to donate
Those nurses don vex for us say if we no bring blood, no more ANC. I just dey look them, my next appointment na next week make we see if they go pursue us.
The question they have refused to answer is, if we don't use the blood, will they refund us? A pint is 13k, will they pay us back after everything?
I'm still dragging feet because I'm not too sure of birthing here, incase I end up travelling home.

Ahh, if you birth there, you must pay for that blood oh shey that was what i did at Asokoro GH, their's is 10k, they didn't even bother me sef, time for CS, emergency one oh, they asked my husband to pay first meanwhile me i had already chopped the 10k he gave me to pay before but in the heat of the moment he couldn't ask me na... when everything was calm, he asked me, hear me lying na, i said i paid ohhh, and was doing heyyy this people haff chop your money, oga was like just leave it babe, leave the matter��� na God go forgive person for this budget padding i like to do.
