Hello mama, I had my first child in a private hospital while I had the 2nd in a general hospital, I hated the fact that my mother forced me to register in a general hospital and I was always grumbling about it, my husband also insisted I use a private hospital but I was able to convince him to allow me try the general hospital because it was closer to our house than the private hospital I used, then I found out that the general hospital is actually better and I might use them again if I happen to catch pregnancy again...the only thing I hated was the fact that you won't be allowed to have visitors, and some very rude nurses too but I fought back and those nurses knew I wasn't someone to insult or mess with.... so I advice you to use the GH ...other sabi mamas will contribute to what I've said

I was given folic acid, calcium(2 daily) and ferrous(4daily) at d hospital but d smell and swallowing no dey gree me use am, so I'm using pregnacare+ and ferrous (2daily)

I guess the pain relief and antibiotic given to u was top graded. Unlike our hospitals (government-military) dt must chop profit n give patients the lowest grade. It was later I learnt from doctors that r my friends abt d wayoness of our hospitals. Kai, the CS pains after surgery wasn't funny then walai.

Hello all, sharing this on behalf of my friend. Her LMP was on the 28th of July. Met with her husband for the first time o the 9th of August which she said was the peak of her ovulation. Her next period should start on Friday the 25th of August. Just two days ago she felt some cramps and so dark spotting and decided to go for a OR which came out positive. She also feels pain around her right lower abdomen. She had a scan today which showed no sign of pregnancy. Not even an ectopic. Her ovaries too are intact. But the pain is severe. My question is can an ectopic pregnancy show symptoms as early as 2 weeks in pregnancy. ? Could it be OUR though there is no discharge. She did a tvs and the problem gathered some brown slough from he uterus as well

Here's my recent issue:
I went for a nearby pastor's baby dedication in early July so, he told me that i will take in that July but i was almost 9weeks gone already so, i just said amen.

See me see trouble:
Last week my neighbour called me to say the pastor is angry wt me.
I say maka why?
She said d pastor said I've not come to say thank you & to tell him that God has done it meanwhile, his own prophesy came late.
So, she said she confronted him that someone said something abt John's miracle conception b4 him cos she was standing by when the man that prophesied abt John passed
He respesonded by saying that the prophesy only came when he said it.
I almost told my neighbour that i was abt 9weeks when he prophesied but don't want her to start coynting Edd for me so, i just kept mute nd was looking at her.
Finally, she said the pastor now said that he can do & undo]. I almost ran mad when she said that part but chose to be still

So, make una remember me for prayers
From my heart of heart i don't want to go nd appreciate him. Maka why na? Why will i go nd thank him?

Sure we all doing good, congrats airforcewife and all that have put to bed, pushing mamas, it will sure end in praise for us in Jesus name!


So.....the toothache did not go away, got really really worse,coupled with blocked nose, could not eat, could not breath, so could not sleep day n night for almost three days. I was 14 weeks gone. Doc had to give consent to go ahead to see a dentist.

Got to the first dentist, private one, did a face x-ray(of course covered with lead apron), his diagnosis:: three teeth affected , could save the really achy one tru roots canal, the wisdom goes relieving pain from the next .....ok...root canal costs 150 k..hmmm. Told hubby, who is kinda averse to root canal cos of past failed experience. Said we'll get a second opinion.....still in pain, I, can't eat, pcm was not doing jack!.

So hubby remembered he had an old dentist friend in Ggagada general....called her, told me to come in the next day being Friday morning. She was on leave n won't be around so will have to see he colleagues....


Got there as early as I could, met the younger docs first, they gave the same diagnosis, an older colleague came and looked at the x- ray well, noticed something and asked them to check the roots of affected tooth...they found out it would be too week to withstand a root canal....would crumble whole filling bla bla , na so I for just waste money?? Meanwhile root canal is being done at Randle for 60k per teeth! Ole private man!


Anyways they took out two, first n last molar on my right side leaving a very lonely second molar.....not nice at all. All took about 15min. Got home texted my gynea that it's been done, she called right back n told me to immediately take valium 10 morning and night, Clofenac 50 morning n night, all apart from the prescription from the dentists.... I knew she used style to put me on 5 days bed rest with the valium so as to keep uterus calm cos of the fibroids.....was in good amount of pain from the extraction though.


Anyway, next day evening, I was tired of sleeping n staying home so silly me got up n went to the pharmacy, stayed standing for a little while, got back home at night and noticed some liquid come out of vjay, went to check n it was brought red blood, mom started freaking out, I sofry go siddon, quickly took my meds, texted doc, n waited, blood was not gushing anyway, my little boy kept coming to me to carry him....doc said to wait it out till the next day, if it does not stop, to come in.


All this whole I was thinking to myself " na me go first get Belle, why all this wahala sef." bleeding stopped later sha n turned brown. Can't still eat better food(very annoying) still laying down.... not much pain in gum, extraction site.

So Pls how long does it take to be able to eat meat again for those that have had teeth pulled, I really don't want to miss ileya meat ooo
