As long as you don't feel pains at the incision, you can o. I waited longer because my incision opened up, i was still having pains, and lochia was acting like a devil. But the very first day i had sex post-op, i had to use a lubricant because the place was as dry as a desert. For jeans, i started wearing one month post-op. I selected the ones with a higher waist band and i only zipped it up. I didn't use the button at the waist band. NB: To avoid stories that touch, please use protection o |

Jennifer89: I don port o! Good morning mamas...... My DS is 2weeks plus and has rashes on his face and its spreading to his back. What can I use for it? I'm currently using ori and palm kernel oil. Maybe you should keep the ori aside for now and use the palm kernel oil sparingly. Then try to not to cover your baby too much, especially if the weather is hot. With time it will clear off. NB: I hope you are using original ori and palm kernel oil, because the fake will do more harm than good for your baby |

AbbynHummy: Mothers, between chicco baby lotion and johnson baby lotion which one is better? From people's review, Chicco is better. If you ask me, i'll rather go natural and use homemade oils and butters like coconut oil, palm kernel oil, almond oil and shea butter. They are awesome on baby's skin |

VEE992: Powder abi?.. have been telling my mum this oo... mummy no powder, mummy no powder...but she will say what do I know...I just let her be cos she is the one bathing my DS. Her reason for applying powder being that it sheds off old skin ...na so I open mouth look am Hehehehehe. Same here. Mum says powder makes baby skin look fresh. Immediately, i turn my back, mum will pour powder on my boy and she'll be so excited as she does it. I eventually had to hide it and pretend i can't remember where it is. |

Akorkor: Mama, I have been using pregnacare plus omega 3 since my conception and all I take is one tablet of green and one capsule(pink blister) per day and I only use them at night because of the way I feel in first trimester(puke) when I used it during the day. Ijelex is asking about Pregnacare Max. Pregnacare Max dose is a total of 3 tablets, while Pregnacare Plus dose is a total of 2 tablets. So she is taking 3 per day. And you're right, its better to take at night if it makes you feel nauseous. I always dread taking mine when i was preggie, so taking it at night worked for me. Drugs r a nightmare for me |

Ijelex: Good day mama's, please am currently on pregnacare Max,. The instruction is to take 2 of the blue blister twice per day and d green blister(omega, 3) once per day. Making it 3 person. I usually take the 3 at once, am I right or should I take it twice in a day. Pls I need clarifications as lo becomes so active after taking my drugs. Cc mitchyy, enque, feddy27,soonest and all the beautiful mama's in the thread Yes, that is the correct dose. Two of the blue/green tab and one omega3 tab. So in total, you are taking 3 tablets. You take them together and that's all for the day. You shouldn't take it again |

Hello mamas, i saw this on mamalette and decided to share...
Tips to Deal With Nausea/Vomitting in Pregnancy
Get enough rest as tiredness can increase nausea.
Drink water but don’t try to drink so much at once, just sip on it to help prevent nausea.
If hot meals makes you nauseated, try cold meals.
Note all the foods and smells that make you feel sick and avoid them.
Avoid cold, sweet drinks.
If you can, get someone to cook your meals but if this is impossible, make plain foods such as potato, pasta and the ones mentioned above.
Don’t think about it, the more attention you pay to it, the worse it gets.
Wear comfortable clothes that’ll free your waistband.
Change your food routine.
Eat small portions of food instead of large meals. Also eat foods that are plain and low in fat such as white rice, vegetables, crackers, pasta, hot cereal, egg, custard, lean meat, poultry, whitefish and shellfish as fatty foods, sweet and spicy foods can cause nausea.
As per drinks, you can go for tart liquids such as lemonade and any other sour drink that’ll be easy to drink. Salted foods also help relieve nausea and vomiting.
Whatever you want to eat, eat it in bed, then rest for 20 to 30 minutes before you get up, your focus now should be getting food down your throat, although you might not be able to eat a balanced diet for a while.
You can chew on ginger or drink ginger tea, ginger is quite effective for morning sickness. You can drink ginger for four days in a row but contact your doctor if you want to take it for more than 4 days.
Cook with ginger, sprinkle grounded ginger on your food or you can buy ginger candy and cookies and munch on them. It will help you keep proper foods down
I hope someone finds this helpful... |

lexajen: They told us not to use cream and powder till 6 months. I'm not sure how that will pan out
Thank you for the directions, I will tell my MIL to help me get some. I've only heard about powder but not cream. Maybe you should ask them why and see if they have a valid reason. We might learn from it |

zaynie: I don't know how much potash is used and how much should be eaten but I do know it gave Mitchyy serious contractions when she ate it in maybe Owoh soup or so.
Mitchyy abeg confirm. Yes it did. The day I ate owo soup which is made with potash, I was having contractions every 3mins until I was given a drug to stop it. Since I knew it cause contractions, I ate it when i was ready to see my baby and the next day I fell into labor. Don't know if its a coincidence but that's what happened |

lexajen: Good morning Mitchyy Please did you mix the Shea butter/perm kernel oil together till you got a smooth paste, or is it separately you use it?
Please can you upload a picture of what the cream looks like?
Also, I was told at the hospital not to use soap and powder on baby till after 6 months. Is this normal? Yes, you mix it on your palm and then apply. When i get home i'll modify this post and upload a pic. You have to look for the original palm kernel oil. My mum sends the original one for me every month. It's light brown, while the fake is black. Not to use soap on baby? I've never heard that o. Baby soap was even part of my hospital list |

14k is way too much. Where do you reside? Doren at Thomas estate is the price above, rota 8500 and others 1k each including pcv, also safeway at sangotedo is same. Yeah. Even Budo too charges high for the Rota. Those hospitals bill a lot. |

Will she like it? So many will she in my head. You don't have to cook this one. You just add formula/milk, add a little warm water, mix and feed your baby. That's all. I think most babies accept it. My friend's baby takes it regularly everyday and she is doing great. Its the nutrients in it i love. I dunno if you can mix it with pap. Will have to ask her |

By the way, mamas, i'm helping my MIL distribute her soya meal for babies. It's completely natural with no preservatives and made in an extremely hygienic environment. I'm sure of that.
It contains soya, crayfish, groundnut, and corn. You can customize your order if you wish to exclude or include more ingredients like millet and dry fish. You simply make it like cereal for your baby.
It's only recommended for babies 6months+ and for adults. I've been taking it daily since i dropped and i'm seeing the effect on Hansel.
Let me know if you need. |

The only exception is pineapple and unripe pawpaw which has been unofficially linked to premature contractions. Happy bumping to you guys! |
